This video argues that people who refuse to wear masks in stores and get upset when denied service are the same people who support refusing service to the LGBTQ community, highlighting a logical inconsistency in their behavior. The speaker points out that people are more afraid of 'catching the gay' than 'catching the CO' (COVID), which is illogical since gay is not a disease. The video emphasizes that public health measures like mask-wearing protect everyone, not just the individual, and that the LGBTQ community is not bothering anyone.

and sit down for real cuz this is controversial. And no, it's not controversial that I'm wearing a night gown cuz who cares? Yeah. Anyway, now that I have your attention, the Okay, this is what I'm just realizing.
People are more scared of catching the G A Y than they are the C O V I D. And I'll tell you why I'm saying this. It's because the same people who are refusing to wear their mask into the store and then get mad because they're not wearing a mask and they get in trouble or they refuse service because they refuse to wear a mask are the same people who agree with refusing service to the LGBTQ community. Now, number one, I don't think anybody's out here catching the gay. Okay? There's people out here catching the CO. Okay? They're catching the CO. All right? They are catching the CO, not the gay.
So, can somebody please explain to me how this makes sense? Cuz I really don't understand. And like people in the LGBTQ community are bothering nobody.
Literally bothering nobody. But when you walk into a store with your mask off and you are unvaccinated, you are continuing continuously whatever causing the spread of COVID which hurts all of us.
All of us. Not just you. All of us. We all have to stay indoors. We all have to wear a mask because you're not doing it.
So, moral of the story is to give services to the LGBTQ community and wear your mask. I don't care if you get vaccinated or not, but wearing a mask like this unless you have anxiety or a phobia is not going to hurt you.
And thanks for coming to my TED talk.
