When bodies are severely damaged beyond visual recognition, DNA analysis becomes the essential method for identifying victims, as demonstrated by the pathologist's report on the Utumishi Girls incident where 16 bodies were recovered but could not be visually identified due to severe burns, requiring DNA testing to match with relatives for proper identification.

UNEXPECTED TWIST ON DNA PROBE -PANIC Hit PARENTS AFTER PATHOLOGIST Shocking REPORT On UTUMISHI GirlsAdded:
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the analysis of Juba News TV. I hope you well from where you watching this channel. Right now the all nation feels for this man.
>> [music] [music] >> That man as at yesterday at night, he had not known the fate of his daughter.
It's a terrible thing.
Do you think that man managed to to take anything like, you know, a meal or take water? You know, he has been crying the all day seeking for answers which have not been revealed.
Now, these answers, ladies and gentlemen, were again complicated when a government pathologist delivered bad news that he could not, you know, and it's not his fault, but he said he could not identify some of those bodies.
Reason being the bodies were burnt beyond recognition. Now, some of those bodies were in body bags.
So, the government pathologist, despite the fact that he confirmed 16 uh bodies are going to be transferred for further DNA tests, it can only point to one thing that maybe the institution has managed to take a total tally of all the students there, the ones who survived and the ones who are critical at the hospital being attended to and the ones that died. So, the ones that died, ladies and gentlemen, based on the government pathologist's statement, are in body bag.
Now, I want you to carefully listen to what the government pathologist said.
>> We have managed to recover uh 16 bodies.
We have documented the bodies and we have secured them in the uh body bags and we are planning to take them to Naivasha mortuary for postmortem for performing the postmortem and also further DNA analysis.
Uh the bodies, most of them are completely charred.
They are completely uh consumed by the products of combustion and they might be in difficult to be identified. So, that's the reason why we are performing the DNA so that the relative can be at the they can be identified when we compare with the relatives.
For the time being, we have decided to call off the search.
It is going to continue tomorrow.
But for the time being because of the time and the in the matter [clears throat] of what we are to do we have decided to stop there. And then we are going to continue tomorrow.
>> So, the good doctor, Dr. Gulu-Gulu, his name is Dr. Gulu-Gulu, who is the government pathologist there, said the condition of the bodies made visual identification impossible, forcing authorities to begin the process of collecting DNA samples from parents and close relatives. Going to be a very emotive exercise there, but it has to be done. The identifications must be done.
Those bodies must be, you know, handed over to their respective families. It is very, very shocking, ladies and gentlemen, that man ladies and gentlemen. Hakuna kitu muhimu kama answers. You know, is my daughter alive or did my daughter, you know, did it did she die in the process? I mean, those answers. Is she the first? I mean, there are so many things that one wants to know. You see, you there's no way you can rest.
So, that is what that man was going through.
Very emotional. Now, getting such answers wasn't going to be possible, especially after the confirmation by the government pathologist. But, if at all the school did do a a proper tally of all the students, proper count of all the students, and there was none that escaped or ran away from that place. If at all that really happened, then you can you can say that uh maybe amongst the ones that the government of pathologists told us about. I mean, it's not it's not a message that one would easily deliver to him, but you know, it's it's not yet clear.
Really, it's not yet clear because maybe I'm just saying maybe. Maybe at the hospital kuna zile conditions ambazo mtu ameungua vibaya. Huwezi kumwambia mwenzake kwamba mtoto wako huyu hapa ukienda upande kama ameungua vibaya, huwezi hata kumwidentify. Itakuhuzunisha zaidi. So, the the the Red Cross and the government uh and and the government uh uh uh uh uh uh uh personnel and government staffs were trying to do the best to try to prevent him from seeing something that would make him feel bad.
You see, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh sometimes maybe uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh So, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I kudos to the government team because they were trying their best to make sure that he doesn't see uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh [clears throat] uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh Just to give you an an example, I lost my mom. So, I went to, you know, Mombasa Coast General sometimes uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh That was 2019 somewhere there in June.
So, walk on on just entering that facility uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh my first time seeing someone uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh mortuaries, let's be honest.
They always uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh >> So I went there.
So So what I'm trying to say is that what the government pathologists delivered was sad news because that meant those bodies were defaced.
So if they do a wrong DNA you get a wrong body.
That is it.
So the message from the government pathologist was the one that was a bit shocking but he's a human being and he cannot tell until tests are done.
So let's just wait for what's going to happen but as at now that is what was delivered by the government pathologist Dr. Gulungu.
