The video effectively exposes how dealerships double-dip by charging customers for services already subsidized by manufacturers. It is a sharp, necessary critique of the predatory "add-on" culture currently plaguing the automotive market.

Mazda Dealership Completely FullAjouté :
We are at a Mazda dealership checking out the inventory they have. And of course, they have add-ons, which is always unfortunate to see. Let's see here. $890 basically in add-ons. And it literally says loaner for life, a service loaner.
Total price of $35,000.
I have never seen a dealership charge for a service loaner before. And it doesn't make sense at a Mazda dealer because there's so many Mazda dealers that don't do above MSRP. 2026 Mazda CX-50. Let's see here. The price is 43,000, but that is before add-ons.
Before they're literally charging you for, I guess, a future service loaner, but even though Mazda pays the dealer when you get a service loaner and you're under warranty, literally service loaner for life. 44 grand after they're done with it. But the crazy thing is they're charging for future service loaner. I guess that's that doesn't make any sense at all. At all. I've never seen that on an actual addendum sticker. And I'd be surprised if Mazda would actually allow something like that because Mazda and every automotive manufacturer, almost every one of them, pays the actual dealership per day that the vehicles out on loaner 38 grand. You got the $890.
So, if you have a new vehicle, you're under warranty, you bring your vehicle in for service. If it's anything that's under warranty and it takes, you know, let's say more than a day, even more than, let's say, 5 hours, you should definitely get a service loaner with every automotive manufacturer. Now, there are manufacturers like Chevy, General Motors that tend to be a little harder to get service loaners, but overall, I mean, you can get a service loaner with any new car nowadays. 61 grand and you definitely don't have to pay. That's crazy. $61,000 over here. Now, this is the most expensive vehicle on the whole lot. And Mazda is a brand that they're getting a lot of love overall. I mean, a lot of people, I'm surprised, are like, you know what, go check out Mazda Thomas. Go check out Mazda. They're the last one.
You know, a lot of people are even choosing Mazda, you know, over, let's say, a Toyota RAV 4, which is crazy because some of the Toyota dealers, I can still go find one with $2,000, $3,000 over MSRP. Most of these Mazda dealers are selling below MSRP, I guess, except this one right here. And I bet this one right here is selling below MSRP, but they just put an addendum sticker, which makes no sense. They're discounting the vehicles, yet they charge over on the window sticker over here. It makes no sense. Now, it's only 800, 900 bucks, but just out of principle, $43,000.
You got that $900 worth of add-ons. One crucial important thing I will mention is that Jay in the VIN. You want these to be built in Japan every single time.
Which is why a lot of people are like, "Hey, Mazda in today's price point this and that." Because everything else is so expensive. I'm surprised at the amount of love that Mazda gets. For sure. I am very surprised. This is an X CX-5 over here. 42 is the MSRP with the fuel economy. Let's see. We're at 24 in the city, 30 in the highway. That's what you're getting in 2026. Now, let's look at one of their smaller SUVs over here and just see what it's going for.
Hopefully, they took the add-ons off, but no, it don't look like it. Nope.
Still, you got that 900 bucks.
Basically, service loaners for life. And a screen protector, which is get out of here. 36,000. Those screen protectors need to be much cheaper. I've looked into them. Some of them are higher quality, this and that, but charging hundreds of dollars for one is kind of crazy, you know? That's nuts. And do you really need a screen protector for your car? I get it on a phone and this and that, but on your car screen, that's a little crazy. But they are making these screens, the whole dash. So, who knows?
Maybe that's the new thing nowadays. But they're literally charging. The biggest thing for me is the fact that they have service loaner that they're charging their customers for on an addendum sticker on the new vehicle. You know, we went to a Mazda dealer. We were hoping to not see any add-ons or market adjustments or nothing. And of course, there is an addendum sticker that literally is charging you for future service loaners. If you ever have an issue with your vehicle, they'll guarantee a service loaner is what it looks like, which hey, at least they're guaranteeing it because a lot of dealerships are, you know, they don't want to give them out like candy. 33,000 because if it is a real short service thing, then General Motors or Mazda or whatever brand you're going to won't pay the dealership the $40 or $100 a day they should get for that loaner car.
That's the situation. 60 grand for this one right here. And you have a J built in Japan, man. So important with quality. 2026 Mazda CX90. 60 grand for this one as well. 23 in the city, 28 in the highway. That's the fuel economy you're getting in today's market. But a lot of you guys, surprisingly, Mazda is the brand that actually gets some love in today's market. But we are seeing a lot of built in Japan, which is so important. So important. If you're looking at a Mazda, Toyota, any of those brands, you want it to be built in Japan every time. But 61 grand, man. Big money for what it is. At a Mazda dealer, even nowadays, 2026, you're talking about 61 grand, which is kind of crazy. Combine that with $900 worth of add-ons, they need to stop with that stuff, man, because they're going to have a big issue trying to sell it over MSRP. They won't be able to. I already know this dealer has to be below MSRP in today's market because look at how full they are. I mean, this is just a line of cars completely full. So, they only have one option and that's discount, discount, discount in 2026. Let me know what you guys think. Have a great day and stay blessed.
