But that's actually what hooked me into this novel anyways. If you don't know what this novel is about, this boy named Alias he is tormented [music] by this voice named The Passenger that forces him to kill beings called Syphons. Basically think of them like cultivators and as a mortal he will have to go out and hunt these beings or basically his body will just deteriorate from the inside out. Like he was slowly become a walking dead corpse. He tried to fight it off for 6 months. I'm talking about this dude was [music] meat falling off the bone. Anyways, he succumbed to a to the madness and he ended up merking these guys, these Syphons. Usually at the first stage. Oh no, actually no, he killed the Fury Force somehow. This dude is open.

[00:00:58]Anyways, let's just get into the pros and cons already. Let me just get into the cons because there's actually not a lot of cons. There's actually really only two, probably three. I think I'm forgetting one. But um info dump, the first 12 chapters is an info dump. I wish I could even explain more of the beginning. Um I really forgot most of it. The info dump was as dense as Lord of Mysteries but I wouldn't say it's as enjoyable. I feel like I had more of a better experience, I'm not going to lie to you, reading Lord of Mysteries info dump from chapter 1 to all the way when he got the potion compared to chapter 1 to 12 of this novel. I did saw this one dude complaining about him standing in the same room for like the first four chapters. And when you think about it, he kind of was. Also, [laughter] this [ __ ] is vague. I'm talking about vague like you might have you got to be like the question, bro.

[00:01:49]And you might have to just go just go scoping for the clues the way you have to be. This [ __ ] is vague. I'm talking about we don't even know the the of the cultivation system. Like we know like all the four stages. If I remember correctly, it's Whis, Mist Phantom, Fury Forge, Amber Exile, and then Void Sentinel. And we don't even know what Amber Exile and Void Sentinel do. And we don't even know the full stage of Fury Forge. Like, Pearl's unique MC, [music] this guy is very unique. And I wouldn't even say the way he necessarily thinks is unique, but I think his qualities that he have make him unique. And experiences around his life, if that makes sense. Like, he got His abilities is insane. Like, this dude got Ascended Swarm, and then he got like some weird regenerative ability, and then he has some voice in his head that actively tells him to hunt. Like, he's like a power-hungry MC, but like it is weird.

[00:02:39]Like, I don't know. He's very gray area.

[00:02:40]Honestly, I don't even see him as a hero nor a villain. And that's what I love about this novel. Like, it's not really like a a chaos versus good. It feels like it actually has its own little world. And that's why I'll have That's the second thing I want to get into.

[00:02:52]It's like the world building is absolutely insane. [music] This dude has They left the city, and there's so much.

[00:02:58]Like, this city could be a whole damn country itself. What the hell? Don't introduce no other planets, bro. [music] Please, make this take place on one planet. Now, I don't mind other dimensions. We could have a river of time. We could probably even have a hell, a abyss. I don't mind none of those. Alien races, like, can you put the alien races in the dimensions, please? Unique but vague cultivation system. Like I said, bro, we know the five stages, but we don't even know fully on the stage he's even on. He's not even fully through the stage, and everything is kept from him. Like, everything about him is we don't even know. I think he's like a surging indulger. If you ever read Pursuit of the Truth, you know what they do.

[00:03:34]This dude got a blood sagely. Okay, so there's these things called Mystic Arts, right? Think of them like normal cultivation arts. And of course, they got different rarities, too. Now, you don't need a Lumina Art. They're called Lumina Arts. You don't need a Lumina Art in order to cultivate in this world necessarily. Although, Lumina Art will speed the process up dramatically. Elias have the chance to basically choose from three of them. Three of them was like from the highest rarity, bro. Like he had the blood sanguini, which basically was like this dude who could control and manipulate blood. And when he saw the vision of the treasure, when he touched the manual, he saw this dude absorbing a blood from a whole country. He also had this another one about infinity pijunai.

[00:04:11]This dude got infinite lumina pools. He had this other one, which obviously it was like this rock, it's called the art of stone. He had to pick one, he picked infinity. And in order for him to cultivate this mister art and sorb it into one of his infinity pools, he has to etch these things into his hand.

[00:04:27]So his master is etching all these symbols in his lumina space. By the way, his lumina space is such a cosmic horror that even at his realm, he cannot explore all of it because it's infinity and he can't even comprehend it. Like he was trying to go to this one pillar of sorrow thing that he absorbed from his trial. Oh my god, that was absolutely insane, by the way. He absorbed a god inside of his body. And he was basically trying to walk towards that god, but while he was walking towards that god, he couldn't even get close to that god cuz this literally his lumina space was infinite because he had infinite lumina pools. And that's also my third point of the the MC's OP, but they slow walk the dog, though. Like I said, we don't even know the other stage of the cultivation [music] realm. Cosmic horror, like I said, this dude's lumina space is just a cosmic horror. A lot of stuff is hit from him. And because of that, the cosmic horror from the outside is hit from him, but just himself, like he can't even explore himself fully. So like, what the heck is that? I like the volume naming schemes. Even some of the worst novels got volume names. Like, come on, bro. That's how you know these [ __ ] be chat GPT'ing.

[00:05:32]But you could tell there's some writing mistakes, too. That had to be my third point, but that's how you I don't even count that as a con. I actually see that as a pro cuz you're real, bro. You're actually writing. Now this guy fleshed out everything, even down to the status screen. There was this one chapter where it was dedicated to the whole status screen, like what happened when people first awaken it, how to get better at using it. Like you learn There's a skill to actually using the status screen.

[00:05:53]Like I don't This dude just thought about everything. Well, it's a lot to say. And still, the passenger gets stronger. This dude is at the point where now he want to even kill the masters that he uh grew up with because they're stronger. It's the rush.

[00:06:06]And even sometimes when he battle now as a fury forged, he has to catch himself when he's fighting somebody a realm above him because he's like, "Yo, these guys, if they really locked in, could kill me in like three moves. Can't just be fighting for the thrill. I got to be fighting for my life." And he almost actually died because of it, and he had to break through into the fury forged because he was in the mist phantom beforehand, and he gambled his luck because, well, he he just liked that hunt. He had this good hunter trait.

[00:06:31]I've only read uh 160 chapters. This guy is literally like Dexter if he was dropped into the cosmic world. It's like with a power fantasy cheat system.
