Government UFO Disclosure - A Christian Response

[00:00:09]Hello and thank you for listening to the Testing the Spirits podcast. So today we're going to be playing a clip of Perry Stone talking about aliens and how the government supposedly is about to release information that aliens do exist. They found UFOs. They are not of this world and Christians are going to lose their faith. So pastors apparently need to start preparing their people for UFO um disclosure I guess. But then someone said that there is a Hollywood movie coming out by Steven Spielberg about disclosure. So some people think that that's a little fishy. I don't know exactly what's going on. I don't doubt that the government someday and they've already released certain things, but yeah, I don't doubt that the government is going to come out and say that aliens are real or something like that. But when they do, do Christians just follow the government? Whatever the government tells us, it must be true, right?

[00:01:13]Unbelievable. But a lot of people are talking about this. So, let's watch the clip and we'll compare it to the Bible.

[00:01:19]Watch. There were u a large number of pastors that had been invited to go to a certain state to hear some men in the United States government and others share with them a concern that they had.

[00:01:39]And this particular man, I'll not name him and then we may end up doing some teachings with him or having an event at his church. She has great church. But he said, "Perry, what you're what they're about to release from what we're hearing, there's going to be a release concerning aliens and concerning uh unidentified flying object spacecraft that some of the people who were in the meeting were telling us as pastors, you need to prepare your people and you need to get ready to answer them for what you're about to hear being released. And some of it has to do with crafts that have been discovered that are not allegedly a part of our planet and the materials they're made of are not a part of our planet. Uh very strange reptilian looking creatures and other things that almost sound like something out of a sci-fi movie. All right. Now, that's wild. And I'm just going to tell you because I I used to listen to Perry Stone, not as a credible source, but I thought what he said probably it was back in 2010, 2012, I would listen to him for like entertainment because the guy was so off-the-wall, but he has said so many things over the years that turned out to be completely false. Bottom line, Perry Stone is a hyper charismatic false prophet who just says stuff that's outrageous and not true. So, he's not credible at all. But let's listen to this. Uh, this is from the YouTube channel when we understand the text. I think this next clip is interesting. So, just one more brief clip. Watch.

[00:03:33]>> Mike Signarelli was another one. A false prophet and a prosperity preacher. He said on May 6th, "The rumors are real."

[00:03:40]I was brought into a private briefing with other pastors. No phones, no cameras, no recordings. We were told plainly, "Disclosure is coming and what follows will shake the faith of many. If pastors don't start preparing their people now, it will be too late." It's funny how it's just a bunch of charismatic pastors who get dragged into these meetings, right? As this disclosure happens, you're going to see Generation Z actually start to adopt this as a religion. your children, they could be a part of a portion of the body of Christ who fall away.

[00:04:10]>> And for the first time in history, there are more people who believe in aliens than believe in God. Okay. So, I've been hearing some different narratives about this. And it seems that a lot of people are telling Christians and pastors in particular, you need to get out ahead of this. You need to prepare your congregation for this. And what some are saying is that you need to find a way to harmonize UFOs with the Bible. Because if you get up and act like you know everything and uh that UFOs aren't real and you know the Bible's true and ignore this, then your people are just going to not trust you and they're going to fall away. So, we need to synretatize, you know, UFOs and all this government propaganda that may or may not come out soon. that we need to uh synchretatize it and blend it together. Sort of like people like Gavin Ortland's church and him and others have blended evolution with the Bible, right? This is what we need to do right now. That leads to the falling away. So, whatever they tell you, whatever the false prophets tell you, and probably whatever the government tells you, the opposite is probably true. But let's look at some Bible verses. But someone's going to say, "But pastor, aren't you concerned that if the government says that aliens exist or there is no God, aren't you concerned that people might lose their faith or stumble?" Well, the government's already doing that, right?

[00:05:41]They're already telling us that in many different ways. The government schools, aka the public schools, they're already teaching atheism through the Big Bang and evolution and the LGBT stuff. So, they're already doing that. But let's look at some Bible verses. This is 2 Thessalonians 2:9 and 10. Says, "The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power signs and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish." Now, it talks about in the end times. I know a lot of people bring this up that, you know, those who believe in the rapture, they think that when the rapture happens, and I do believe in the catching up of the saints. First Thessalonians 4, okay? But people talk about that when the rapture happens, uh, the government's going to say it was aliens who took them. That's a popular theory. But we see in the end times there is going to be a mass delusion, mass deception, and there's even going to be uh lying signs and wonders. Now, I don't think we're there yet, but some people are referring to uh this as end times or preparing for end times activity. You know, that remains to be seen. Another verse, Matthew 24:24, for false Christs and false prophets will rise to show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

[00:07:10]And we don't think of government people as false prophets, but Perry Stone is a false prophet, certainly. And uh the good news here is that the elect won't be deceived. I hear people saying this all the time. The Bible says that in the last days, even the elect will be deceived. No. Read it. Matthew 24:24 says, you know, if it be possible, then even the elect. But no, it's not possible. So, no, the elect will not be deceived. Now, will will there be a great falling away from faith? Will false converts fall away? Well, yes, but that's nothing new. Colossians 2:8, "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy or empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the uh basic principles of this world and not according to Christ." This is a very important point. Listen, the Bible does not teach UFOs. I realize people will talk about Ezekiel chapter 1 or chapter 10 and like if someone saw that today, they might think it was a UFO. Listen, that was talking about angels and the throne of God has nothing to do with UFOs. The bottom line, the Bible does not teach aliens certainly from other planets. The Bible doesn't teach that. In a sense, you could say that this is a tradition or doctrines of men. So, if the Bible doesn't teach it, Christians shouldn't believe it. Okay?

[00:08:40]Now, this is another popular theory that these UFOs or unexplained, you know, phenomena could be demons. I'm open to that as a possibility, but generally I don't think that demons can be seen. I mean, they're spirit beings, but, you know, I think there are things we don't understand. So, I I might be open to uh something along those lines, but would depend on the details. One more verse.

[00:09:07]And this is really what it comes down to. And this is what this podcast is all about, right? 1 John 4:1. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God. Why?

[00:09:21]Because many false prophets and liars have gone out into the world. So, we need to test everything that we hear, whether it's from Perry Stone, from some other charismatic minister, or from the government, or from your next door neighbor. It doesn't matter. Whatever somebody tells you, you need to test it over and against the word of God. And if the Bible doesn't teach it, then you shouldn't buy into it. Okay? Trust in Christ. Here's the bottom line. So, if the government or charismatic pastors or they work together and they come out and say that aliens are real and we have these spacecrafts and it's proof that it's not of this world and is that going to shake your faith? Well, if you're saved, if you have the Holy Spirit, if you're reading your Bible and you're part of a good church and you're trusting in the Lord, it's not going to shake your faith.

[00:10:13]Nothing the government says is going to shake my faith because I put my trust in God and his word. Not what the government says, obviously, and certainly not what Perry Stone says or any of these other guys on TBN and Dayar. So, all right. So, I think this is a lot to do about nothing, but obviously if something develops, uh, we'll touch on it, uh, again, and I'll probably say the same thing I said today.
