[00:00:25]It's not a 1 Tahash model or 1.2 2 terraash model. It's a 1.5 terraash model. And thank you to Helium Deploy for sending this to me. Oh, this is a nice like how to get started guide.

[00:00:42]Wow, it actually shows everything from like the specs. This is a Bitax Gamma 601 1.5T production delivery version 1.0. It actually shows Oh, that's really cool. Look at that. All the uh different parts on this. It shows product overview, key features. Look at this.

[00:01:01]Wow. This is This is pretty nice. This has the information on how to power it on and get it all started. Wow, this is pretty good. Wow. Good on Helium Deploy for having something like this for new miners. I think that's Well, that's really nice. All right, so the device itself. Okay, so this is the first time I'm seeing something like this. And look at this. This is Yeah. a bit gamma with a massive heat sink on it. And so, yeah, I guess that's what constitutes as this to be a higher terraash version or like an overclocked version. I'm curious what the power consumption is going to be. I actually have a brand new I found another uh Bidax uh this is a 1.4 or 1.2 two terraash model and okay so this is what they normally from what I've seen normally look like this right but you see with the helium deploy version here the 1.5 terash model the heat sink is way bigger so I guess that's why this one's able to overclock a lot more now just looking at the back is this like all the same like voltage regulator all that kind of stuff it looks the same to me. Uh, yeah, everything it it looks the exact same. You guys can let me know. I don't see any difference here. Maybe I notice this looks different than this one. Looks like this could be more upgraded. I don't know what these chips here are, but this looks different from this 1.2 Terraash model. So, yeah. Okay.

[00:05:01]Well, let's just turn it on and see what kind of numbers we get here in terms of uh power consumption. Okay. So, let's plug her in. Does come with a 5V 6 amp power supply. So, it's a 30W PSU. So, let's see how much power this thing takes at the wall. I do have a power meter here that we're going to see the exact power consumption. Let's take this out. Plug this in.

[00:05:31]Okay. Now, let me plug in the Vid X. And there's no Ethernet or anything on this.

[00:05:37]Now, I just saw something on this 1.5 Terraash model. Looks like there's a black heat sink right here. Okay. But then looking at a uh 1.2 Terraash model, this one does not have a heat sink there. So, looks like yeah, there's ample cooling, more cooling ability on this one versus, you know, like a typical 1.2 Terraash model. Anyways, easy setup. Let me just connect to the Bitax SSID_14FG.

[00:06:08]Connecting to it on my phone and the web gooey will come up and this is where we are going to join my own Wi-Fi SSID.

[00:06:19]Okay, very easy. So you guys are setting this up, you just use your phone, connect to it, you put in your home SSID and the password and then you are able to uh change the other stuff as well such as your mining pool and worker name and all that stuff. So, let me input that now.

[00:06:38]Okay. So, I just joined it to my Wi-Fi.

[00:06:41]It got an IP address. Now, I um I input the IP address in my browser on my phone so that I can set up the Bitcoin pool and the address. Now, it's not loading for me. Okay. And how I can circumvent that, this is an issue I've seen with other people as well, is that you got to take out the HTTP uh the S. Okay. It thinks that it has SSL, but it there isn't. So, we're going to just remove uh the S here.

[00:07:12]Okay, remove that. Oh, nope. There we go. It should just be http slash. So, no s. Hit okay. And now it should come up.

[00:07:24]Yeah, there we go. Right. See, there we go. So, the https, if you guys have that error, it that's why you can't load it.

[00:07:32]That's what I've seen a lot with a lot of people. So, it's not like auto going to HTTP. It goes to auto HTTPS. Anyway, okay. Well, looks like it's already getting 1.49 terraash right away. It says the efficiency there is 15.58, but actually at the wall, we are showing 32.2 watts. All right. So, looks like we are kind of over the power capacity on this 30 watt. Ooh. I don't know if that's good or not. I don't I don't know.

[00:08:03]Longterm, this thing might get pretty hot. It's cold right now cuz we just started. Anyway, I'm You know what? I'm not even going to bother changing the uh this stuff cuz we're going to give this thing away right away. Okay. [00:09:12]So, 1500 gigahash. 1559 is 1.5 uh terraash. Okay, that's the conversion there. And oh, it went back. It went to the next screen. Shows block. shows the difficulty for Bitcoin, which is cool.

[00:09:26]So, we got to hit over 132t uh to hit a Bitcoin block. All right.

[00:09:32]So, will this thing hit a Bitcoin block?

[00:09:35]I I don't know. Well, if I put up the chances, I'll put on the screen here the chances uh with 1.5 Terraash, it's obviously very very very low. And so, your chances of hitting a block with one of these things, I mean, you got to be real lucky to hit a block with this. So hopefully if anyone that wins this, you guys can hit a block with this. But uh chances are, you know, there I think we did the math. You know, there's roughly about between 25 and 30 solo blocks a year. There's another like 2 years left for the Bitcoin having. So that's going to drop the block reward from 3.125 down to 1.56.

[00:10:14]And uh in the next 114 years, you know, if on average we're finding 20 to 25 30 blocks a year solo mining blocks, then you know, roughly about what 2500 to 3,000 solo blocks are going to be found within the next, you know, 114 years.

[00:10:30]That's going to be when the last Bitcoin block will be mined. Uh it's going to be it's going to be transaction fees after that. We're going to be mining for transaction fees. But anyone that's watching this, we're not going to live we're not going to live long enough until, you know, the next 114 years. So, uh, that's that's morbid to say, but anyways, this is, uh, this is cool, though. I like it. This is, uh, the perfect like little desk piece for somebody that, uh, wants to mine or try to solo mine Bitcoin at home. I mean, you can pool mine with this thing, but chances are, I mean, you're you're really mining pennies uh, on this thing.

[00:11:05]I mean, you could solo mine Bitcoin Cash. All right? you you'll get a lot more you you'll have a lot more chance in that way uh to hit like a $1,500 block instead of a Bitcoin block which is $200 and something thousand.
