DMA Industries opens new facility in Greer

[00:00:00]Well, today the city of Greer celebrates the opening of a new automotive business. DMA Industries is a global automotive aftermarket company headquartered here in the Carolinas. Uh today they cut the ribbon on a new 1.4 million square foot facility in Greer.

[00:00:17]The company leaders say the new facility will help boost access to international shipping lanes and major domestic trucking terminals, uh driving the automotive industry forward here in the Upstate.

[00:00:27]>> We also are looking to bring technology to the area as well and have a state-of-the-art facility here, not just with the facility itself, but RFID, AI, robotics, etc. to really grow and expand what we're doing and working in the community.

[00:00:42]>> We're really maximizing our efficiencies as we continue to grow our our business.

[00:00:47]Um we we've been tremendously successful in the Lowcountry and we're super excited to be here in the Upstate.

[00:00:55]>> Uh leaders say the new facility is also bringing 100 new jobs to the Upstate and half those positions have already been filled.
