PPD: 2 men taken into custody in Wawa homicide

[00:00:00]Thanks Brian. Two men wanted in connection with the Mother's Day murder at a Wawa store are now in custody.

[00:00:07]Tracy Lewis and Kavi Santoki were photographed multiple times on the crime scene. A third man, 21-year-old Tae'Jon Lawson, is a person of interest in the case. 10 On Your Side in a review of court documents learned more about the last moments of 17-year-old Tavion Smith's life.

[00:00:30]The weight of the grief broke down great uncle Lewis Smith days after his nephew was murdered. He wants to know who lured 17-year-old Tavion Smith to the Wawa early Mother's Day morning.

[00:00:44]>> How did you find out about Tavion?

[00:00:47]>> People who did it called me. My nephew has a Instagram account.

[00:00:50]And they sent a picture of him laying on the ground and and then and my son got the picture that's how I found out.

[00:01:01]>> The court records also say in March Lewis posted to Facebook a photograph where he is in possession of a handgun that is fitted with an extended magazine. And for the first time we learned a second person named victim number two in court records was shot during an exchange of gunfire that night. The investigation is far from over. Today police announced they are looking for a person of interest his name is Tae'Jon Jaquill Lawson.

[00:01:41]>> Tracy Lewis and Kavi Santoki are due in court July 10th. Lewis is charged with possessing and using a machine gun.

[00:01:50]Santoki is charged with shooting a firearm from a vehicle and shooting in public.

[00:01:56]So far there are no murder charges in this case.
