This documentary effectively dismantles the superficial correlation between urban decay and social disorder, revealing a sophisticated internal order rooted in communal trust. It serves as a powerful reminder that safety is often a product of human connection rather than environmental aesthetics.

I Visited Ghana’s Most Strange Ghetto Society And Got Shocked! This Is Not What I Expected!Added:
Welcome to the most scariest.
Entertaining.
entertainment center.
>> Yeah. Here with the boy.
>> Good afternoon and at the same time the safest ghetto or community in Ghana.
Once again, it be good area.
>> This one is Santiago Babau.
>> SANTIAGO BABAU CHARLIE.
WAIT, is this a community or a ghetto?
Well, let us know at the comment section after watching this video. I am finding it very difficult to differentiate whether this is a community or a ghetto.
The reason being that it looks more like, you know, a community. But when you enter or when you go in, half of it looks purely ghetto, you know, because of the kind of structures and uh kind of people you will see over there. I I I know you know how ghetto looks like.
How is life over here? Like is it entertaining? Is it boring? Is it like how is it like?
But there is one thing that amazed me as long as this community or ghetto is concerned which is for me per my personal experience that I had over there it is the safest aside the ugly looking aside the scariest part aside the dangerous part it is very peaceful or beautiful to live in this place why am I saying this stay with us welcome to anything Africa it's been a long time since I saw myself on your screens, but it is what it is. Point of correction, if it is your first time over here, please consider subscribing and enable the notification bell. Welcome to Old Fadama, popularly known as Cocoa. Found somewhere in the middle of Ara, Ghana.
Not here only you have some place here.
Brazil.
>> Yeah. Where the Nigerian girls hang out.
>> Oh, okay.
>> But you have some place to compensate there. Same.
>> So, so, so this is one society session. Yeah.
We have many places like Medina and this is Nigerian.
You know sometimes we go to the streets or ghetto and we try to have conversation with the ghetto guys you know what they are going through how they landed in that or such situation. I was there when this brother from another mother came to me and he was like I've already had an interview with him. So he came to me and he was like bro I have a friend who is also interested so if you don't mind we can go to where he lives and yeah have a conversation with him and his experience you know but one thing is when I got there and saw how the community or the ghetto like I said was looking like I was like bro are you sure we are safe here he was like bro we are safe you are safe I was like anyway we called the guy we were going to meet and he showed up what's H welcome. Thank you bro.
>> I'm good. I'm good.
>> Hala hala.
>> So we started shooting.
>> Have I enter your hood today?
>> Yeah. Today you come to my place.
>> I swear.
>> Yeah. We call old Fadama.
>> Old Fadama.
>> Yeah. Popularly known as Ara. Popularly known as Koma.
>> Old Fadama. popularly known as wall. And point of correction, according to this guy I spoke to, I asked him how did you guys came up with this kind of community over here because it looks like it is in the middle of Ara and I think um the leaders should be using it for something you know other than creating this kind of community over here and per the guys before it was like you know a good community like I was saying it was good it wasn't structures like this and everything was on point until flood tooth flakes in here. It wiped out, it destroyed many structures and the place became you know kind of um bed and it remained that for years until people started moving in with you know this kind of structures that you guys are seeing.
So slowly slowly slowly it became this community that you guys are watching half ghetto half normal community even though it doesn't look normal but you consider it competitor you know >> they don't allow us to stay here say the the land is what it's for water so the the water can kill us when it rains heavy it enter our rooms >> so That is it for the history of this place. But trust me throughout the shooting I wasn't comfortable because the kind of people we were meeting and the kind of environment we were you know heading towards to it wasn't safe.
But guess what? We shot our videos like smoothly and easily without nobody intimidating, without nobody harassing to the point that we were even comfortable showing the camera on their faces while they were doing a lot of stuffs. You know, like I said, And do you know the main reason why I said this place is the safest? Aside the ugly looking, aside the scary looking, this place is the safest place to live in. I mean the safest ghetto. It looks safe to me because of the nature.
Looking at this environment and the kind of people that you meet when you come in here automatically want to condemn this place. But let me set an example. Know this mobile money vendors. Recently we had couple of incidents, killings, people killing them, robbing them this mobile money vendors.
So it has gotten to a point that when you go to the cities, I mean all over where they do mobile money, MTN mobile money cash blah blah blah, those people who are into those businesses close at 5:00 p.m. because they are afraid that when the time exceeded it become more dangerous. But those who do mobile money in this ghetto or in this community, they don't even close, bro. They don't close cosmopolitan village or city. Let us know in the comment section what you would like to give to this place. All nationalities starting from Ghana.
God knows the end.
And you can find everything inside.
And uh the most amazing part of the whole conversation is um it's safe in here even at 1:00 a.m. like whatever time you want to uh withdraw you know money. I'm talking about mobile money.
It's safe. Unlike the cities that people used to close at around 5:00 p.m. here even at 1:00 a.m. you will get mobile money regardless of the environment.
It's it's so amazing in here and it's safe. Trust me. Heat. Heat.
Okay. Wo wo wo wo wo.
>> Very interesting.
>> But aside the safest part, this community is very interesting. Why am I saying this? When you enter, it looks like everything is on point.
Entertainment center.
>> Okay. If you enter.
>> Okay. Okay. Let's enter.
>> Entertainment center.
>> Yeah. In the air with the boy.
>> Whoa.
>> Good afternoon.
>> I think this is a city because it's it's more like you can find everything inside here.
>> Yeah. You can see view.
>> Okay. So, this is a platform for those who perform.
>> Stage.
>> Stage club.
>> Oh, bro.
view.
>> You call here >> view.
>> Yeah.
Old Fatima has its own mini economy.
There are mosques, cafes, gyms, and even hotels, but there are no official amenities.
And another interesting thing when we were going we got to a point that um there was a small bridge and one guy was sitting beside it collecting money from those who were using motorbikes you know to pass by area.
>> Oh you don't pay.
>> Oh you pay ah I won't come make you collect the money together say we go share. Oh okay bro. Uh if if you come there anybody go up. Okay normal people like this.
>> Oh devil pay them for pay to good area.
>> This one Santiago Benab >> Santiago Benab.
>> So you want to repair it?
>> I repair it.
>> Okay. Okay. Okay. It wasn't like this.
>> Oh, okay. Oh, okay. Okay.
Okay.
Oh.
Uh, it was there before and it got damaged.
>> Okay.
decided >> can do it and after >> after that.
>> So you saw the problem and you you solved it.
>> Yeah.
>> So how long will it take you for you to get your money back looking at how since when did you start the way my money?
>> Okay. So Yes, I just >> So, how long will you be here? Like, how many days will you be here before you leave it for them?
>> Only today? What if you don't get your money back? Or it's more like >> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> So, please, what's your name?
Muhammad that's why your name philanthropic man thank you so much for thinking about the community Muhammad and thank you so much for talking to us like we go pay unless we use machine >> are you THERE something small I be I be cru so I pay 10 cities.
>> I carry load. Okay, bro. Thank you so much.
All right.
W collecting money from those who are bypassing using Moto Banks. And he was like this bridge that you guys are seeing over here got broken months ago. So I just fix it right now and um I want to collect something small only for today just to cover up my expenses. I was like really isn't interesting they are trying to solve their own problems. So it was looking more like exciting to me how they were coordinating even though aside you know the drugs everything. Another interesting thing that I discovered was the type of structures they were putting out there. Bro, just imagine a story building.
So this is the stra side of this community where you can see story buildings you know first floor, second floor.
The only thing they are lacking is lift.
So you know everything is manpower and one thing was that for stairs looking at the top one definitely like I said no lift. So you I think the architect wasn't good enough. Yeah. So you might have to climb which you need a stairs and stairs for what I know it has to be in order you know not too straight at least sloping kind of but this st looks more like straight they get Charlie.
So I was like bro how can one climb this straight like how he was like bro it's normal for us who living here and they are okay Jeez. So I was like what is your biggest challenge as long as you people in this place is concerned and he told me the biggest challenge they face in there is during the rainy season. According to him, when it gets to the rainy season, movement become very difficult, very stressing as long as these people are concerned. Like for me, it is the safest ghetto you can ever think of. As long as Ghana is concerned, there is ghetto everywhere. In some part, bro, you can't even pass. Especially once upon a time I was living in a a shy man. And there was a particular place that when you are passing there at night, you need to disguise yourself. Sometimes I know a a particular man who normally close late at work and whenever whenever he closes, he will remove you know the top shirt and hang it around his neck and have a piece of cigarettes. though he doesn't smoke but he will just hold it as if he's smoking he will light it although but he will never smoke he'll be holding it just to have his way out I think the cigarette is a modern you know but like I said unlike this place it's all fun people move freely they don't sleep and they have places that weddings ceremonies and other programs take place aside entertainment hall which is fortunately for us when you got there a lot of activities were going on some part they were doing gaming ceremony another part they were doing wedding and you know bro so that is it for me it looks more scary but when you get in it's all fun like I said mobile money vendors don't close and nothing happens to them like it's not 100% safe even in the church like I said so this This or this environment should have been extra but per the people who live in is the safest to them and I was a witness because when I got in it was all fine.
