Number one, you spend less than you earn. It sounds crazy, but 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. They finance their lifestyle and they spend way more than they earn. Number two, if you're investing consistently. If you can invest just a couple hundred dollars a month, that compounds so fast, you're going to be a millionaire before you know it. Number three, if you have an emergency fund. The majority of Americans could not cover a $1,000 emergency. They'd put it on credit cards and continue to go deeper into debt.
