And the other language used tongue tip sounds. These are sounds where the tip of your tongue touches behind your teeth, like d z l. Then, we matched each language with a cartoon animal. When babies heard the lip sound language, they saw one animal. When they heard the tongue tip sound language, they saw another animal.
