In other words, we didn't unify with black people cuz they was they didn't have anything for us. So, we decided to try to get our proximity to whiteness going up. You see? Well, you know, we didn't march. If that's what you mean. The why didn't we get out and march and Well, I I You know, when we you know how we always ask, "Well, where were the Asians? Where was everybody else?" We didn't get out and march. We just waited around till the black people got beat up and then we marched. This is what he's saying. Keep listening. And she said her grandmother was black and Chinese and I just I mean, there was no way to know back in the 1990s when she would tell that story, but you know, here we are.
