Here’s Why You Must Start a YouTube Channel Today - All You Need to Know

I've seen a lot of comments on the YouTube channel some asking questions and everything and I decided holiday first Ghana because just about 47% of views from Ghana the rest is outside Ghana Ghana today's a day for workers. So in this video what am I doing few things in two years and it will maybe answer some of the questions on Tik Tok on Facebook on the YouTube channel in the comment section sometimes I don't get to check the comment section a lot but I see some of the comments I have people who responds to those things but I have some on how to make your YouTube channel work and that doesn't mean will be it's just the question that I've come and what I want to share. So it's more like a a chat a friendly chat with my subscribers and people and the more more important reason is that when they gave me the analytics should I share this publicly? Let let me do that. Um this year alone 6,380 subscribers that means that we are doing an average about 42 subscribers a day.

[00:01:24]We are doing about,0002 a month. So there are new people on the channel who must know what we do here. And this year alone we had 4.5 million views on the channel by the grace of God and by your support for 1% by advertising of 4.5 million. That's a lot in 5 months. So we average at least at least at least we in four months because you're counting May.

[00:01:49]the subscribers know it's not it's not 5 months it's rather 4 months because January uh February March April and how will your YouTube channel be successful this video is for you so meaning we rather do,595 subscribers a month so that's about 53 subscribers a month and we are doing 4.5 million so that means that we are averaging about 1.1 million every single month so that tells you that the channel by the grace of God and by the kindness also is growing. How have you gotten here? One of the first things I would say is that it's consistency.

[00:02:43]The truth is that I shoot I leave I leave I leave for work at 5:00 a.m. So the 5:00 a.m. means that the fact I rely on the documents. I have to do all that and get ready by 5 and shoot at 5 a.m. by 5 minutes.

And I mostly handle the editing and stuff is the comments and the comment session and the where they share it on other platforms handle but I do mostly that because I know what I want to put there. So it tells you that one consistency you need to be very very consistent. Let me give you what I mean by consistency.

What I've noticed is that when you pick a certain duration and consistent with it, YouTube enables your video to go far. Cuz me, when I look at my backand data, YouTube recommends my video a lot. Because see, think about it. If you have 53 people every day subscribing to your channel, it may be small, may not be compared to the likes of Sheldons, the likes of Headless, the likes of my good friend Clement Gossip 24, but per especially very important. So before you start a YouTube channel must know that you must be consistent connected minds every weekend video cannot be dormant for a long time algorithm will not pick you but you see you must have that consistency oh YouTube channel need to be consist but you need to have a niche n i h what do I mean by a niche the niche is that I'll reference them in certain but I won't do content about them because that's not the focus of the channel. The focus of this channel is politics and so economic issue is is an institution funded by the taxpayer. So that is what I mostly track that one because a political figure. So before you even start the channel and for you to be consist and and what you must be consistent at you need to find a niche YouTube like Clement like headless.

[00:05:45]So I don't expect my views to be like them. That's the first most important thing because when you have a niche, the niche will even show you why you shouldn't have certain expectations.

[00:05:55]May I do political issues. If someone come and insult me, it's normal. You must know this. If someone comes and say that you are NPD, it's normal. That's the that's how the politicians play entertainment fun. It's normal. So you need to have that that that analysis. You need to do that physibility niche marketing analysis so that you know how people will box you.

[00:06:21]Then you also know how you carry yourself. So have that niche. So what that means is that politics and it is it's a comfort zone because I'm a producer for a political program. I'm an analyst. I'm a presenter on political shows. So it comes natural to me that I know politicians. It come natural to me that I know a bit of history and I want to do politically related stories.

[00:06:42]Right? So find that niche. Maybe be a marketer within the marketing space. Who do you know? Can you bring your colleagues, like-minded people around the round table talk every week about marketing, how to sell your product? You are a doctor. There's this guy who wear content on Tik Tok on Facebook.

[00:07:04]And I was fascinated by that intro.

[00:07:07]for almost 5 minutes on Tik Tok. So are you a doctor? Can you talk about something food you must eat every day to increase your your healthiness?

[00:07:15]Something that is niche. Niches are there politics and polit.

[00:07:27]The pros and the cons. The pros is that politicians will call you. You get you get to befriend politicians. Are you someone who is okay with something? You must know all these things. Then you find the niche.

[00:07:57]kind of stories that's a niche. So find that niche and hammer at it. Mhm. That's the most important thing I tell you. And also on the consistency I post two, three videos a day.

[00:08:16]Now how did I decide to do that? The YouTube algorithm will teach you. I don't know whether I should put this back test on there.

[00:08:25]the back end I said 47% of my people is from Ghana about 23% is from the US the next is the UK then Germany France UAE and all that now what that means that the time zones are not the same so when you're posting in Ghana don't think that all your fans so don't assume that all your audience are available at the same time now what that what that also means inferably is that you need to be guided by channel. My subscribers are mostly active from 10:00 a.m.

[00:08:59]I mostly post my my first videos around starting around 8 to 10. So by the time it my subscribers are mostly active after 400 p.m.

[00:09:14]No matter where I am, I was not in the mood or anything. at least within that 4 to 9 based on the analytics YouTube shows me you must post a video there and don't put pressure on yourself I wish because it's my bedroom I'm not able to show you lot of things this the light I use the blue this is this is what I 200.

[00:09:56]Yes, my microphone is this. I use the the Mac M 2 Holy Land. That's what I use for almost one year now.

A friend bought it from China for me. Mostly doesn't come with a box. Comes with a power bank.

[00:10:59]Then I have a ring light ring light. But I started with a a Pixel 7 Pro camera. Then I advanced with it.

[00:11:09]So currently I shoot with a phone. I don't shoot with a camera. So I shoot with the Google Pixel 9 Pro. So this is the phone I shoot with and the phone is just around 10,000.

[00:11:21]So you need a decent Samsung A2 people understanded to do a studioary one year. So about 8 months ago most of these changes. So start the niche, start the content, it will go then you also expand then I do my editing on the I use an iPhone. The reason why I haven't changed my iPhone to 17 and cool is that I I find it difficult to to edit on iPhone.

[00:12:02]I find it more more comfortable to edit on a pixel 100 base. So that's that.

[00:12:47]I think that's all. Just find the niche and do and you see the reason why you must create a YouTube channel is that when you look at there's something called data repile. I may not have the time to put it there but when you look at it more people are going to social media.
