Bula vinaka, you're watching Fiji Village on record. Former member of tender evaluation committee, Myree Wyse says there was no justification given for the waiver of tender for the purchase of rural lab equipment. Wyse took the stand in the health tender trial of former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, and former Health Minister Dr. Neil Sharma. She told the court that there were no grounds to justify the waiver.
Wyse says the Ministry of Health did not provide any reasons why Hospinnia was recommended instead of Roche Diagnostics.
