Why Women Lose Hair: Iron, Thyroid & Stress Explained #shortsAdded:
I think the very most important thing for women is checking your iron levels and your thyroid hormone. I've diagnosed so many people with they their blood test come back and their ferritin or their total body iron stores are so low that you are fearful like, what the heck if something happens to you and you're on the freeway you have no reserves for you know, if you get into an accident you'll need a transfusion right off the bat. So, women have this chronically low iron cuz they bleed heavy and they don't eat, you know, three full meals a day and they definitely don't eat enough protein. So, I I hyperload people with iron and protein. We do IV iron infusions in the office.
Um, and that really helps a ton. You know, women it's such a common complaint with hair loss and it's like, is it stress? There's so many it's there's so many ideologies to why women thin or lose their hair and I think it's always such a sensitive sensitive subject for sure.
