Does this mean that the Clarity Act will be passed on May 14th, or is there still another step?" And according to ChatGPT, no, this does not mean that May 14th Clarity Act becomes law. There are still a few more steps after this. So, yes, May 14th is a big date because the Senate Banking Committee will vote on the Clarity Act, and hopefully it passes. If it does not pass, then that will be bad.

After the Senate's Banking Committee, it will go to the full Senate vote, and then the Senate, the House of Representatives, they can reconcile the bill, the Clarity Act, if needed. But if they don't want to reconcile, they don't want to edit anything, then they can just send it off to the president's desk for final approval. So as you can tell, there are still about two or three more steps minimum. Maybe even four for the Clarity Act to be passed. So is this a bullish catalyst? Yes, this is a big, big deal.

No. Think of May 14th as a gate opens moment, not the finish line. If the committee passes it cleanly, then markets may front-run expectations of a Senate win. So keep that in mind that if it does pass on May 14th, it does not mean that it's fully approved, but the markets will expect for it to be passed, and we could see a massive pumping, massive bull run for cryptocurrency because of this news. So this does not mean that the Clarity Act will be passed, but this is a big deal, especially for coins tied to regulate to regulatory clarity like XRP and Hedera Hashgraph.

Also, there is a 75% chance that the Clarity Act will be fully signed into law this year in 2026. Yes, the odds have been going up in the past few days from about 40% to over 70% because of this news.
