>> Perfect. Before I get started on your abdominal assessment, can I ask if you've had any if you've had any pain or discomfort in your abdomen?
>> No.
>> Have you had any surgeries abdominal?
>> No.
>> Perfect. Okay. Um, the first thing I'm going to do, excuse me, before we get started is I'm going to inspect your abdomen. That's just by looking at it and seeing if I not any differences or abnormalities.
Um so from here all right everything appears to be symmetrical contour and flat I don't see any discoloration or masses or bulges.
Your umbilicus is inverted and it is midline vertically and horizontally.
You don't see pulsations or palpitations.
You see normal breathing which is great.
Um you also don't see any parasolic waves.
Okay. Um So, what I'm going to do now is I'm going to ask you to like lift your head.
I'm going to check your abdominal muscle. There you go. Perfect. All right. I don't see any masses or hernia or separation of muscles. So, you can lay back down. Now, actually, what I'm going to do now is I'm actually going to pull the pillows out from my video so that I can have you laying supine. Okay.
Perfect.
All right. So, I'm going to apologize now because my hands are a little cold.
I'm sorry.

Then I'm just going to listen to your I'm going to peruss your organs after that. Great hands. Sorry.
So um for air areas it's tempanic and then of course for your organs it's dull. So that's good as normal.
All right.
You ready? Yes. Okay. So I'm listening for your hair bubbles. Okay.
There you go.
Okay. Sounds pretty all the way across, so that's good.
Are you ready?
So, I'm going to do your spleen now.
That's going to be not going to do your um your liver. And then when I do your liver, I'm going to also check for your liver borders. Okay.
Start space.
Sorry, I'm trying to count. Sorry.
It's about six and a half, maybe seven.
I'd say six and a half centimeters. So that's it. Okay.
Okay. Sorry. I'm so sorry.
All right. So, um, so what I'm going to do now is I want to actually sit you up real quick and then we're going to lay back down. Okay. I just want to, um, while I'm doing your, excuse me, your percussion, I want to go ahead and listen.
Okay.
All right. So, sorry. Try to go this way. Can you see that? So, I'm try to find where your rib cage.

>> Okay, perfect. So, if you can lay back down, that would be great.
Thank you. Got to get that out of the way. All right. So, now what I'm going to do is called palpation and I'm going to start with light palpation. Just going to go in your quadrants and then I'm going to do deep palpations.
And I'm also going to be noting your face while we do this. But if at any time you feel any tenderness, please let me know. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> You ready?
>> Yep. Okay.
Come in a little bit in all your quadrants. Okay.
Just feeling for any masses or bulges, any abnormalities.

All right. Now, I'm actually going to do your aortic, too.
Perfect. I'll say about two.
Okay. You ready?
Now, this is going to be the deep pulse um foundation. It may be just a little, you know, uncomfortable, but it should not hurt at all. Okay? So, if you feel any pain, just make sure you let me know.
>> Okay? While I'm doing this, I'm actually going to be doing um your organs as well. Okay. Okay. All right. So, we're going to um start with your All right. No bulges or masses noted.
All right. Then we do This is going to be your flame. Okay.
So, it's going to push in right there.
It's right here.

You are not going.
Okay, your liver, gallbladder are good.
Now, I'm just going to kind of do a deep pull in all your quadrants just to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Apparently, my hands are super super cold. All right, I think we got everything done. So, I appreciate you coming in today. Thank you.
