We Bought $80,000 of Games This Week...

[00:00:02]Half of it was from me, Skyguy and brother Dave at Midwest Gaming Classic, and the other half of it was from you. Yep. Neither of us have seen what each other got. Right. I heard you spent a lot of money, but I don't know what you got. I still kind of don't know.

[00:00:19]It was chaos. So, that's kind of the reality of our business is we things have to work behind the scenes. So, Al pal Matt, Nolan all stayed back and kept things running.

[00:00:30]Nolan did some whatnots by himself. You still received a collection while we were at Midwest Gaming Classic. Yeah.

[00:00:36]Which is worth $35,000. So, that's all back here. And then the stuff that I bought is up here. So, there's a lot of cool things.

[00:00:45]>> Yeah, I mean I'm seeing a lot. I mean, I've never seen that before. Sealed 360.

[00:00:50]I mean, it's not the coolest thing obviously that you got, but that's Yep.

[00:04:12]Yep, that's one of the PS4s I have. We didn't either until we happened [laughter] to see it at a game store.

[00:04:18]And then like one of the first video stores we went to actually had it and we're like, "Oh, we thought we were never going to see it >> [laughter] >> Every Spider-Man game ever. This is one of my favorite collection pieces that I picked up. This is the one I did not have. Oh, right. You didn't have. Oh, you can put it on the shelf.

[00:04:35]My shelf fell down. Shout out to that video that came out recently.

[00:04:40]That's crazy how rare this is. Yes, I paid 1,500 bucks for it. I think it's worth two to 2,000 to 2,500 typically.

[00:04:50]It's just like so rare. And then I'm adding this to the collection as well.

[00:04:54]Oh, you're adding that. Okay, I did I did glance at that. I've never seen this before. And that's a sick I love this game personally. You played it a lot. We played it together.

[00:05:03]And I mean that's a cool PS4. So custom controller and console which is which is really nice. I like this one too. This is just a great one. We're going to be selling that one. The Battlefront.

[00:05:13]Picked that up for 200 Is this bin part of it? This yes, this bin is a very interesting bin. Actually I have got like one of each thing that we have in here. We have multiple but these are demo units. Okay.

[00:05:27]I I I knew a guy was going to contact you at Midwest about these. I didn't know much about them. I just knew he was going to talk to you about them.

[00:05:34]So he hit us up and we bought a good bit of these. Demo 2DS XL like part of the kiosk.

[00:05:41]How do they So this this is actually a fully working console here. It's It's like a software on there that is for the kiosk.

[00:05:47]>> Okay. And then these just have software.

[00:05:49]There's no markings, there's no anything, but like you can play demos through the software is kind of my understanding.

[00:05:54]>> Okay. Yeah, then we got like some OLEDs and some regular switch. I think that was a regular switch. This is the OLED.

[00:06:01]Nice. Yeah. So, we got a whole bunch of those. This box beneath this The whole We can't keep them all.

[00:06:08]These are going to be super cool collector's pieces. Oh, yeah. This bag here is my I mean these are just things that people don't even know exist until they see it. Yep. And I love I love being the sellers that have this [music] kind of stuff. It's very I I I love I'm good with paying up for it because I I love being That's who we are. We bring those kind of things that people don't know exist. I see you like it. I do. All right. I do. I You know what? I am part of this business, so everything you showed me I do I I'm glad that we have.

[00:07:43]And so I'm starting to buy for that and this would be one of them.

[00:08:04]I've seen those a lot. I don't know if I've seen this one. Yeah, it's I knew it existed, but I don't know if I like held it in my hands. Super uncommon Super Mario. I bought this from a store called Press Start Games in I think Appleton, Wisconsin.

[00:08:17]It's the greatest store I've ever been to. Yeah. Yeah, they gave us some Stardew Valley styled shirts. Oh, dang.

[00:08:22]Crystal, this is the only way to get a box for that. I did not know a box even existed for this. This is the only way to get it. Cuz this is a game that was a pack-in, right? It was a pack-in, cartridge only. That's a rental exclusive for display box. You look on the back.

At the game store, I was trying to just find things that we can buy and either like give away and whatnot like a Switch 2 for example or we can just sell and break even, but hook somebody up with an amazing piece and also support the game store. So it was it was fun to kind of shop with that approach.

[00:09:29]Well, you're really swinging for the fence here with all this. Yes, just more random stuff in here. This is probably the main highlight. Yeah, this this thing [music] is a 7800 game.

[00:09:40]It was marked at 100 bucks, so I bought it because it price starts at like 350.

[00:09:45]And there were no sales in the last like 2 years.

[00:09:49]Did it come with like a big Why is it in a big box?

[00:09:52]>> even looked at it close yet. I don't I don't know. It comes with like a manual in there, but it's not big. What a wild thing. I've never I just had never seen it and I knew for like Caterpie Quest buying every game.

[00:10:03]>> That's what we had to pick up. See that again. Never seen that before. There was also like a complete Odyssey collection probably at the store, but we picked up these two games. Yeah, cool. Just the cool ones that have like almost like board game things inside.

Like if you look inside, there's There's It's like a piece of paper almost behind the behind the screen here, but it has the same weight as a DS Lite. Matt just opened one up and what did you What did you say it was? So, it has a circuit board. It just doesn't have any of the like capacitors or resistors or anything on it. So, it's just a a dead circuit board, essentially. I wonder why they even put a circuit board in there, but that's Well, that's I guess to get the weight right. Yeah.
