Feline herpes virus is a common eye infection in cats that requires immediate veterinary treatment to save vision; while the virus cannot be completely cured, early intervention with medication can significantly improve outcomes and potentially save the eye. Rescue organizations like Friends of Felines Rescue Center rely on fundraising events such as Catathon (scheduled for June 15-19) to cover essential expenses including emergency surgeries, dental procedures, and medical supplies, with the understanding that timely medical intervention is critical for affected cats' recovery.

Hi, Mary.
>> Mute.
>> Yes.
>> Hi, Rachel.

>> Oh, Ramsay's out there. I'll go get him.
>> He's out enjoying the sunshine.
>> It's okay.
It's not raining in Washington State.
>> Your um >> That's a switch, isn't it?
>> Quest your appearance.
There he is. He was out laying on the princess bed enjoying the sunshine.
And if you look on the other cam, you you can almost always see him out there if he's not in here.
Oh, John, that is awesome.
Creativity in children.
And they want to know how Zach's doing.
>> Zeke.
>> Zeke.
>> Oh, he's good. I I have pictures. I got to bring them over. Maybe I'll do that real quick.
>> Yeah.
>> I know. You want to come back here?
Whoopsies.
You can enjoy this section.
Her babies are so cute.
Good morning, Neil Wings.
Happy Friday. Thank God it's Friday.
>> Yay, Friday.
>> Hey, Ross. Oh, fine.
>> Go ahead.
>> I'll go quick.
I'll just throw a couple.
>> There's Ziky with pen.
>> Zeke, look how good he looks.
>> Zeke, is the orange or white one.
>> And there's Ziki.
>> Petting a dog.
>> Peting a doggy.
He's like, I touched it. And then here's Ziki sticking out his tongue.
>> Hey, >> I love when they do that.
And then I'll just find >> Don't chew the pictures.
>> Chewing them. I just stuff them here. I won't show all of them. I'm just going to um Okay, >> that's pen.
So cute.
>> Oh, that's cute. Yeah.
>> And Penn is how old now?
>> Penn is going to be 15.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> In November.
So that's Zeke with Mars, who I found.
Mars is from my backyard.
And Mars is a big boy.
Ouch. Oh, this is either picture or your arm.
>> I know.
And then there's Pixel on the treadmill.
>> She's got to get her steps in.
She's very health consscious. And Pixel was 13 this year.
Morris does look like a Morris.
>> Yeah, >> I know he does. Yeah.
Yeah. I think that's Oh, there's this one. I love this one.
>> Oh, that's so cute. Yeah.
>> And then that.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Look at how good he looks.
And then here's where you can see how chubby Zeke.
>> He's like, I want to be like brother Morris.
>> Yeah, he's getting a little chubby.
>> You look like you woke him up from a nap.
>> Yeah, I think I did.
>> He's always sleeping with his brother Mars.
>> Yeah. So, he's doing good.
All right. Hi, guys.
Oh, yay. I am. Thank you, Katie.
All right. How's everybody doing today?
Happy Friday. We are very excited. It's Friday, aren't we?
>> Yes. We're very excited. It's Friday.
Um, yeah. Thank you.
Hi, Mrs. Yak's class. I'm down 27 pounds today. So, yay. I can't wait till it feels like more, I guess. But >> a >> Well, you kids have a great last day of school. Yay.
>> Yeah. Have a great last day. Oh my gosh, the last day of school is so fun.
>> Yes. It's It's like the funnest day because you're just you're about just about ready to burst because you know you've only got a few more hours left, guys. Hang in there. Few more hours.
So, yeah. Wonderful. Well, we are happy it's Friday. We're happy you're here with us. Um we've had quite a busy week, but um >> Sorry, I've got all my stuff.
>> No, he's going to I'm afraid he's going to step on it and fall. Oh, you always say he. It's a she, she, it. Butterbean.
In 11 minutes is half a day. Who's counting, right, Mrs. Yaks? I'm sure you're not counting either, >> right?
>> Um Oh, I hope you guys Yeah, I do. Hope same with what Terry said. I hope you guys have a wonderful summer, but um so we've had a busy week. Ann has been here. She's been um helping us.
Yeah, it's been so nice having her here.
She's been helping us with just lots of odds and end things.
>> Um, and kind of getting things around for Catathon, which is coming up in like one week.
>> We've got one week left, not next week, but the week after. So stay tuned because we have just lots of fun stuff planned. It's going to be a a fun fun week. So that is coming up. That is our biggest fundraiser of the year. I know we're talking it up a lot, but it's it's a big thing.
>> And I'm taking vacation that week. So Megan will entertain you the whole >> She is She is not. She is not. We can talk after. We'll talk after.
>> It'll still be a No.
>> Okay. Like a few weeks after we'll talk.
>> Okay.
>> We'll both need a vacation, >> right?
>> Oh. Oh, they'll be middle schoolers after that. Oh, wonderful.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> How fun.
So, um we officially got um we've got a second phone line set up for Catathon.
Um, well, it's not set up this moment.
It will be set up for Catathon, so you can call on two different phone lines, which will really, I think, make things so much easier and hopefully faster.
We'll get done by Wednesday this year.
No, just kidding.
>> That works for me.
>> So, we're planning the event to be the 15th to the 19th and hopefully we're hoping to do the wrap-up on the 19th.
That's our hope.
>> So, I think we can do.
>> And what does that mean? That means all envelopes have been bought and sold >> by the 19th.
>> By the 19th.
>> So stay tuned.
>> Before or before. I mean, if it's before, I'm not going to be angry. Um I know my butter bean. I did my butter bean. So um that's coming up. That's just our biggest fundraiser a year. Um we have lots of plans for this fundraiser. Nothing big substantial I don't think that I can think of as far as um I don't think so Lynn. That'd be fine. Um nothing big substantial planned this year as far as uh goals for the fundraiser. Um I'm not looking that at them off the top of my head, but we we've got some just like little nitty-gritty things we do. Um we've got some painting we need to get done, some staining we've got to get done. Um, we need to redo the flooring um in Kitty City or I'm sorry, not in Kitty City.
Uh, the shelter house.
Um, what other things do we have to do? I can't think of anything off top my head, but most of it's going to go towards prepaying some vet bills just to kind of tide us over for the rest of the year.
Um, as well as reordering some med supplies.
So, we do need a new we should add that we need a new med cabinet, too. But yeah, there there's a couple little bits and bobs that we need.
>> I'm getting done with a cold.
>> Oh, you let my lady in.
Um >> the thing with catathon is we will be closed that week >> to the public.
>> Yeah, we will be closed.
>> Um it's just it's so crazy.
>> It's so chaotic and we have to really really watch the noise control in here because we are on phone lines in the midst of it all and it's so very hard to hear on the phones. um trying to get name, addresses, and everything and make sure they're correct. So, we will be closed that week um to the public just because of the noise and chaos and and thank you. The mods are sending me um Thank you. I've forgotten all already what we put. Um yeah, we've got to finish insulating some sheds and getting them kind of all set for winter.
um that really helps. So, painting, stating, random upkeeping, um the medical aspects of it, prepay medical vet bills, um order all sorts of new medicines and just kind of refill our cabinet that So, this is kind of our biggest purchase that we do in the year to refill our med cabinets to to go towards the following year. So, so that will be good. Um, and then everything above that is really just going to go to operating expenses. Um, which I've broke down for you and we'll go over that during Catapathon of just what operating expenses are here and how expensive it is to run a rescue. I I didn't really I I guess how without being cocky, how expensive it is to run a rescue on the level that we try to keep it at, >> right?
>> You know, we we try to do um those >> above and beyond.
>> Yeah. above and beyond things for the kitties.
>> Mhm. So, um you know, a lot of times, you know, we'll try we'll because of you guys, we try harder on or not, we take in cases, Lando's a good example.
Lando Lando in some places would just be euthan euthanasia because his eye is really bad and there's just there's so many other healthy kitties that need help, you know, and things like that. So because of you guys, we can try with Lando and we can afford that surgery, but it does mean extra cost. So So there's that. Um, yeah. And we got a lot of eyes.
>> Got a lot of eyes coming up.
>> Yeah. A lot of dentals or >> inuculations >> that. Mhm.
>> Yes. Terry and emergency cases.
>> Emergency cases. Yeah. So you know, we do have a lot of eyes and a lot of dentals coming up. I think we've got four three three dentals coming up.
>> So, um and Lando Lando >> Lando is gonna be here next week.
>> Yeah, next week. Um he's still at my house. Um truly, I'm just wanting to give the girls a break here or the staff a break here because we've had so many um we've had so many cats and pins and it just takes so long to clean, you know, all the areas plus pins as well. So, I don't mind having him in my house, so he's just going to be my my uh >> I'm sorry.
>> No, I saw something like fall in out of my Okay, it was just you.
>> It's just Mary falling.
>> It's just Mary. She's fine. The cats are okay. Is the pillowcase okay? Is the pillowcase okay? That's that's the big thing.
>> Yeah.
>> Um it's good.
>> So, Leo's just going to stay at my house. He He's doing fine. He is like the He's the best little patient. Um, he's really, uh, someone asked real quick, what's more expensive, eyes or dental? They're both. Uh, both are honestly about the same. Uh, they both run about $750ish.
>> The the dental it does depend on how much >> if they have to have extractions.
>> That's true. That's true.
>> Yeah. So, I guess sometimes the dental can just be a cleaning, but I feel like they never get in there and just find like nothing.
>> Never.
>> You know what I mean? and you go into the dentist.
>> Well, and honestly, we have enough knowledge to where we send them to the dentist when we know that need things need pulled. So, that's, you know, that's where that sticks. But, sorry, I'm letting my hair air dry. Do you mind?
>> I know this is I do this every like I feel like every Friday it's it's let my hair air dry on cam cuz it's driving me nuts >> and it always smells so good.
>> Yeah. Herbal Essences. Oh, no, wait.
It's the Aussie this time. Um, eyes are from the herpes virus. Yeah, most of them. Yeah, that's a such a common thing. So, is Gizzy helping with Lando?
You know, Gizzy's just so chill. Um, he don't have like he he's not bothered by anything. Lando's very curious about Gizzy. He just likes to watch him like he just stares at him. Um, so they're they're pretty they coexist. They're pretty. And Lando's so he's on a lot of pain meds, so he mostly eats and sleeps.
That's what he does. And and pees and poops. Um >> like my husband.
>> Yeah, exactly. He did find his voice though this week, so that was pretty impressive. I think I told you guys Sonia was making food for him and she was not near moving fast enough and so he was letting out some little meep. I'm like, "What is that sound? Is that you?"
So, um, he's doing he's doing pretty good. His eye is gross. It is. I I was actually talking today. Um, I feel like he almost needs a surgery before the surgery. Does that make sense? Um, his eye is gross and and nothing I'm doing is is is helping it.
I'm not going to fix that eye. It's not going to be cured or anything like that, but normally you can make it better to kind of prep it for surgery. You have to make it a little bit healthier, make the skin a little healthier. Um, oh, schools are out for summer. Bye, Nation. Oh, yay. Bye, Mrs. Yaks. Bye, Mrs. Like Yak class. Um, Eric has not looked at him.
No. No, he hasn't. Is his hydration better?
Um, it is better. Yeah. I mean, I would say it's better. I don't think he's like >> maybe not great, but better.
>> Yeah. Yeah. He's eating. Um last night he did have a um he did have a bowel movement last night and he actually had two solid stools, which was really exciting considering, you know, things are actually processing and working for him. So, >> can I jump in real quick?
>> Yeah. Um, I think it was Granny Paula. I may be wrong on that, but said, "I wish there was a treatment for the eye."
>> No.
>> You want to go ahead or?
>> No.
>> Actually, there kind of is.
>> Um, you just got to jump on it right away.
They've got to be treated.
>> They have to be vet treated.
>> Yeah. right away.
>> But there is stuff that can clear it up.
>> Yeah. And we've cleared a lot.
>> Um >> Taylor >> Taya >> Taylor. Yeah. Um Taylor Yeah. was was cured, I guess. And and they never really cure. Herpes will never really truly go away, but um and that's a different story for a different day. But um we were able to save her eye because of the medicine. Now she will have some sort of uh you know fog to it um just kind of like Melany. Um but there is cures to it as long as you can get to it as quick as you can.
>> So for Lando there it there will be no fix to it because it's too far gone once the eye ruptures. That's pretty much it.
And they do have to be treated almost immediately when they when you start seeing it. And unfortunately, we get the cats after it's too late.
Yeah.
>> A lot of times, >> and that's what happened with Aba and a pony and Mitsy. Um, you know, uh, Jude Jude came with his eyes already ruptured, so there's nothing you can do about that. Taylor's eye is good. Um, she will not have I I don't believe at this time she'll have to have any surgery to remove any eye >> and we thought it was going to be both eyes.
>> We did it. It looked so bad. So, it doesn't show the power of medicine how much you know it can come back from that. So, that was nice.
Now, the little um inky that we've got um a leaky uh her eye is already bad. It will have to go. Um I wasn't sure on that.
I think last week I wasn't sure how much we could bring it back. Uh we can't bring it back into So one eye will have to be removed but the other one's fine.
So that's good there.
So um so yeah.
Is there any news about Lucky? Ly's doing fantastic. Um yeah, she's a happy cat. They still her and Chandler are still in the back. They're doing very very well. Um I I don't really have much to say about them. They're doing great.
Sorry for the cough, Sky.
Yeah. Um, any other kitty news? I think everything's pretty.
>> We shuffled yesterday.
>> We did shuffle.
>> You shuffled yesterday.
>> We did shuffle. Well, Mary shuffled yesterday and Mary came back from vacation and we're like, "Oh, great.
>> Shuffle some cats."
>> So, um, we've done quite the change.
Okay. So, we've got >> That's why you seen me walking in circles when I was doing meds. Like, where are they at?
>> It's kind of confusing right now. Um, so in Patty's place, we have Shmookie, Taylor, Willow, Lemon, um, Fuzzy, and Smijen. They're all in Patty's place. In June's room, we've got Filamina and her five babies.
in Dodgers pin. We still have um Kaye in there. We actually tried to move her and she was not having it at all. She said absolutely not. So, we put her back.
>> She likes her castle.
>> She does like her castle. And then we moved um Chewy to Dodger's pin or excuse me um Hensley's pin which is in the cabana. You can't quite see it. I can see it right here. Um, we moved Chewy into there just because I wanted Chewy. Chewy's a little shy and I wanted Chewy to kind of like be able to see the center and like want to kind of work her way up to coming out. So, the kittens are having a ball. All the kittens are having a ball. Oh my gosh.
They are just having a great time.
>> They are.
>> Makes more room.
>> Yes, very much. Those kittens go from 100 miles an hour to zero.
>> They do. They sleep.
>> Yes.
Just leave the door open.
>> Who did I just go?
>> Thank you.
>> I actually have been feeling better.
Sorry. I think it's just when I talk it.
I keep telling her not to talk, especially to me.
>> But she does. She's like, "Go away."
She's actually let me go home early twice this week.
>> Um, >> Betty's doing good. Betty's doing fantastic. Um, did her fur ever grow back in? It's almost there. It's almost there. you. It's hard to tell exactly where the lines like stop anymore, you know, because it's starting to grow back in so good.
So, >> she did give her medicine this morning.
I didn't give her >> I did I did I did take medicine this morning and clearly >> I I honestly am much better. I was going to go to the doctor like 2 days ago, but I finally was feeling better and and she's um I'm I'm feeling much better. So, yeah, Bettyy's back outside. Is Betty staying in rather than over the fence?
No. No. We tried Betty uh a few times in the cove. She She was not having it at all. at all. But Betty does what Betty wants.
>> Betty does what Betty wants. She does.
Any chance of a Patty's Place video with the new additions? Yes. I'm sure we can work up something like that. I think actually, are you on Chatters?
On Facebook Chatters?
Um, if you're on Facebook chatters, I think Sonia's been posting. Oh, Betty Boop. Betty is very Oh my gosh.
She's a happy girl.
Yeah, she's actually I will say one nice thing about Betty that Betty the Huntress is back and that is true. Um and the one funny part about Betty is actually her being back in her her comfort zone which was outside has actually been fantastic therapy for her. Um, she was pretty gimpy in here. Um, but she's actually been able to like move it around and get a lot more move.
Betty Freedom. Yes, she's when I um when I first put her out there, I think I took a video of that.
I think so.
>> I think I did.
I think I took a video of when Betty first went back outside. I mean, she just she immediately started rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling. She got up, then rolled again, rolled around, and she was like, "Oh, yeah. She's my she's my girl." Just Betty.
>> How did Taco Bell get his name?
>> He was found in Taco Bell.
>> Yeah, she she >> You always get wrong.
Taco Bell's a girl and yeah, she was found at Taco Bell for all she used to be.
So, um, butter bean, thank you, Cecilia. Um, oh, yeah, they're all they're all doing well. Um, look at these curls. Yep.
Her hair just is so beautiful. I am so jealous.
And it's funny because you >> and it always looks good.
>> No, it don't.
Butterbean love time. Pause for butterbean loves. Um other than that though, I think everybody's doing well.
There's um not really much going on like catwise, cat healthwise.
Um we've got some random colds. You know, maybe Dr. Darcy, I'm sure she could help my cough. Sure she can. She's like, "Well, dogs have a cough like this."
Um, how old Zuki? Oh, I What do we have her at? I feel like I put her at six years old.
Now it's making me sign in.
Zuki is just Oh, I just love her.
question. My friends are thinking about getting a kitten. Would you still get it microchipped?
Microchip's never a bad idea.
>> The only thing I have to say bad about a microchip is that unless you take it to a vet or someone who has a microchip reading, it does you no good.
>> Yeah. Isuki is 5 years and one month old. And yes, on the microchip, a lot of times people think um with a microchip I thought this I mean maybe I'm just dumb, but I thought with a microchip you could track them wherever they go and you can't. It's just a chip that it's only noticed if you bring it to a rescuer or a vet that can scan for it. So, same thing with an um Apple Air Tag. They're only good if you're in range.
So, you know, if you're not in range, it doesn't matter.
So, if you want to be sure where your kitty is at all times, keep it inside.
Sorry.
Um, will you and Eric be bringing Raisin and Wibbles uh to Jude in Vegas?
We'd like to. I have to figure out times yet.
So, um, unfortunately, we're we're kind of crazy right now.
I'm sorry.
So, sorry.
Yes. with us having our um biggest fundraiser of the year next week, not this >> in 18th.
>> Um it's going to be hard for Megan to get away and June is just a very very busy week or summer. Summer's busy.
>> Yeah, it is season.
>> I know. Maybe I should do Jo's meds.
Um, is Murf okay? I noticed him pawing out his mouth this morning. Yes. So, Murf has stomatitis.
Stomatitis is rectified by removing all the teeth. Like, it it solves this problem 99% of the time, but not 1%. And Murf is the 1%. So Murf gets meds every 3 months um to help keep this at bay. At some point that med will not keep it at bay.
He is due for his med, but I'm trying to delay it as long as I can. Um but I think we're I think we're kind of getting to that point where it's we've delayed it as long as I can. I can give it early, but it's not advisable. So, it giving it um I wanted to give it before I went on vacation, but it was a little too early. Um so, I'm and he wasn't so bad before I went on vacation. So, I'm trying to I'd like to try to keep him at as close to that 3 months as possible. So, he's due for it.
Um not quite yet, but I can I can do it early. It's just Does that make sense at all? I hope I'm explaining that right. The more you give it, the less it >> effective it will be.
>> Yes.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes.
>> Yeah. So I I try to I try to keep it as close to that 3 months. I'm never at 3 months ever. I normally always have to give it beforehand. Um so I'm never fully at 3 months, but um I'm trying. But yeah, he's due for that.
Um he's due for that about now. Well, he's not due for it. He's due for it actually in a couple weeks. I can give it to him now. Um, and then he'll he'll clear right up and get better. So, yeah, it's a tricky med. It works fantastic.
It works great. And when I give it to him, he will clear right up, but I need to stretch that med as long as 3 weeks or as 3 months. And he normally does really great for about a month and a half, two months, and then it starts wearing off and that stomatize starts coming back. So, it's kind of just gauging that time frame on him. But he's a good boy.
>> Yes. Valerie, like antibiotics and humans, the more you take, the less effective they get.
>> Yeah. Yeah. And and at some point, right, this will be the only this will be this is the last line of meds for somatitis.
Um, so after this, there will be nothing else. So, we're just trying to prolong it as long as we can.
So, but also kind of gauge that like his comfort level and you know it's a fine balance now. I have been great for two days.
>> Do you need something to drink?
>> She has a water.
>> Okay.
How old is London?
>> Not.
>> How about an ice cream pop?
>> How about an ice cream?
>> Trying to look on.
>> There we go. Um gosh, he he's actually older than I thought. Six years old. Oh, is he six? I thought he was older than that.
>> Six years, two months.
>> So, ice cream to go with your donut.
Today's National Donut Day.
>> It is National Donnut Day. So, >> yeah. So, all right. Um, other than that, I you know, I think it's a whole bunch of things, dance, and and I am feeling better. I just keep getting this stupid tickle. It's just a little tickle now.
little tickle.
>> Our um cottonwood trees are in full blossom right now.
>> Yeah, they are.
>> So, we have cottonwood flying through the air like snowflakes.
>> Yeah, it's not fun. So, other than that though, I can't think of any other updates. Can you that I'm missing?
>> I can't think of anything.
They'll be here next Thursday morning to hook up our extra phone line.
>> Yeah.
>> So, next week we'll be in Full Gear prepping.
>> Mhm.
>> Um for Catathon.
>> Yeah.
>> We've got a couple dentals next week.
We've got Humane Ohio on Tuesday. Um Kim will be off, but Denise is covering on Tuesday.
Um, we've got Chica has a dental on Thursday. Looking forward to that.
And then, yeah, >> that's it.
>> Sonia and Ann think they are leaving on this Sunday.
We've already lost.
>> We've already got plans.
>> Yeah.
>> So, I mean, they think they're leaving.
Sonia thought she found her passport and Anno flat tires, key fob gone, you know.
Um, are any of our special needs cats adoptable since Wibbles and Raisin are now off the market? I think the only ones like disabled special needs is we will have some oneeyed kitties coming up for adoption sadly. Um hopefully um our little Inky who I can't think of the name uh Aliki.
Um and then hopefully soon uh not soon but Lando at some point too will be coming up.
So all right well I think that's it guys. You guys are wonderful. Go ahead.
>> I'm sorry. Nope.
>> Mouse legs. When is the next fundraiser or raffle? We will not have one in June.
>> Nope.
>> Because we will be having fun and that is considered our um biggest fundraiser for the year.
Yeah. Yeah. So, that's going to be >> Come on.
>> It's going to be a big one. So, >> yeah.
>> I'm looking forward to it because we do have some fun things planned this year.
So, I mean, well, we have fun things planned every year, but we have some fun things.
>> Little different this year. A little >> a little different.
>> Catathon is our is just a our biggest fundraiser of the year.
We will have a board and you can buy envelopes, kitty cat paws.
>> Yeah. Um the board will be numbered from 1 to 400 and whatever number you pick is the amount that you are willing to donate.
And we just um that money is used for things throughout the year that we our expenses throughout the year that we need.

And it it was just so overwhelming to know that they are so wonderful. And my mods, you know, and then I know all of you guys out there, it's just it's really nice to have support. So, I'm just really grateful for that, especially when times are hard, you know, and and this week was a it was a it was a tough rough one. Um, people can just be really hard to deal with. So, um, yeah. So, yeah, it's amazing, you know.
Oh, you guys are so sweet. Thank you. It Yeah, Lynette was actually really sweet yesterday. She was like, cuz yesterday was it was rough. It was rough. I was ready to just throw in the towel. It was rough.

Remember when she would say, "Okay, it's Catathon. What do you guys want to see happen?" I'm like, "The cats really want an ingground pool."
>> She's like, "No, they don't." I'm like, "No, they totally. They love ingground pools."
>> Yeah. Especially cats. I think it would I think it'd be neat to have like a koi pond out there.
>> Oh, I know.
>> Like, you know, this big enough that the ducks could swim in the koi fish could eat.
>> I know. It would be fun. But I think about I'm like then I think of like I worry about in the winter and it ices over and something steps on it. But >> we've had a pond for like 35 years.
We've never had an animal go through it.
>> Yeah. I Neither have I. Neither I. I don't know why I have this this irrational fear.
>> They don't do it out on the Well, some of the deer do on the river, but >> very nasty.
>> Maybe they should see the river. Do you guys want to see the river?
>> Well, I'm not going to go down swimming in the river. We can just take a walk to the river. Hey, we haven't been to backwater.

So, yeah.
But all right. Well, let's go walk over there. And hey, we could go fishing.
and bring the fish in for the cats to eat. There you go. Save money.
You would love to see the river. Let me let me see. Um cuz maybe we could take a ride down to backwater, Mary. I know. The only thing is is back by >> backwater worries me because there's ticks. There there is ticks.

Okay, let me I'm going to put my hair up because I'm I'm worried about the ticks.
There was a tick. I I told Lynette I was sitting I was sitting at my desk the other day and I felt something crawling in my hair and I'm like, "Lynette, Lynette, there's a bug. Lynette, Lynette, there's a bug."
>> And she comes over and she gets a bug out of my hair and it was a tick.
>> She panicked.
>> I did panic. I I could do a lot of things.
I can't do ticks. Nope. I I am a-ok okay without them. So, all right. Well, um give me like five minutes and I'll load up a YouTube video and we'll just walk across over to the pond and or to the pond to the river.
