HUGO PHILION JUST REVEALED WHY RIPPLE & INSTITUTIONS NEED FLARE π¨Added:
So, we have a brand new Hugoilion interview hosted by Crypto Sensei and he said some interesting things that you really need to be aware of. What is going on everybody? It's King Karan with another flare content for you guys. And before I'm going to show you the highlights and we're going to break down everything what he said. Obviously, I want to give a massive shout out to Crypto Sensei for obviously hosting this interview. I mean, I'm looking up to him and this guy is so dedicated in making videos. I mean, I've never seen someone dedicated like this on YouTube. So, make sure to subscribe to his channel and also I'll also put the link down below for the entire interview so you can actually watch the full interview what they actually were discussing about. But I'm just going to talk about the highlights about these interesting things that Hugo Filion said. So, let's not wait any longer. I'm going to show you what he was talking about >> who just started talking to Ripple. I think 2020 we during lockdown was when really formalized 2019 we were talking to to Ripple and we kind of playing with some ideas. We were playing with ideas. you you had Ethereum and it was relatively young at that point and we were like well there's these other assets and you know we think that there needs to be capabilities for these assets you've got XRP you know you've got Bitcoin you have some smaller other assets that don't have full smart contract capabilities and really we thought well okay we'd like to build this but what do we need to build in order to really do this in a proper way and it's why we call flare ultimately the network for data because we've seen a lot of bridges and we've seen a lot of you know things that have happened with bridges seen a lot of different types of bridges but ultimately everything to do with a bridge comes back to data and so in order to do what we wanted to do properly we felt that we had to build a network fundamentally for data to start with >> and did you guys heard what he said around 2019 we were starting to talk with Ripple and I have made videos about this before you know the deep connection between Ripple and Flare. The fact that Yugafilion had this vision in his mind years before Flair was live in 2019. He started to talk with Ripple and obviously he was starting to talk with David Schwarz about this idea. And look where Flair is right now. It's not just only giving XRP holders yield. It's giving them an entire Devi ecosystem experience. So what he had in his mind just became way bigger. And now since they were obviously focusing on retail, now they're focusing on institutions, which I will also show you later in this video.
>> So that is extremely well positioned to provide powerful protocols that are private and compliant for those issued assets on ledgers like the XRP ledger.
So, you know, a as a totality, Flare is effectively this hub that sits in the middle of a number of networks and allows you to transact multiple types of assets from that network. We're very from those networks. We're very focused and have been focused for a very long time on XRP. It's kind of our core position. It doesn't mean we won't branch out from XRP to to add other, you know, assets from other other places, but we think that the XRP ledger has stood the test of time. We think XRP has stood the test of time. We're excited where Ripple and the community are taking it and we think that what we offer on top of the egg ledger is extremely complimentary. In fact, we think that our position and what we're building with Flare helps Ripple win business.
>> Yeah, >> they they might not see that today, but over time they'll see they I hope they'll see that the products that we're building within Flare 2.0 in something called Flare Confidential Compute will be where be you know an an augmenting to their to their to the use cases that they can offer. So they can offer use cases A through C through flare. They can offer use cases you know D through >> I understand. And so so Flare helps Ripple to win more businesses. We all know Ripple it's a company that likes to offer more products to businesses to banks. But now with Flare, with their Flare confidential compute around RWA's real world assets, Ripple can actually offer way more products because of Flare. So, this is something that they can work together with. And this is a win-win situation for Ripple and for Flare, which is truly amazing.
>> I mean, in the six years on now, it's kind of in a league of its own. And it allows people to do so much more with Flare with with their XRP with the Flare network, but also keeping their XRP on the XRP ledger, right? I think that's kind of what we're talking.
>> So, I mean, keeping the functionality on the XRP ledger. I I give you another example. We're just about to launch FXRP 1.3, V 1.3. This uses something we call tag minting. So, this mean like minting to tag. Now this is a piece of X functionality which we've we're because we have our data protocols we're able to do which means that you can set up a tag that points to an address on Flare. You can so you set up a tag on on X ledger that points to an address on Flare. And this now means that you can mint your XRP directly to Flare from an exchange >> without without it ever without you ever having to do anything other than withdraw your XRP from that exchange to a tag, right? Like that is functionality that no one can give you. not even you know could never do that because they have to know who the person that is receiving the DRP is when they create a unit of P that you know because it's it's a centralized system flare being fully decentralized we use the Flare uh data connector to locate a tag match it to a flare address receive the XRP mint it through the FXRP system deliver it to the flare address right so this is some functionality that just no other system can offer.
>> So there is no bridge in the world that can do things what Flare is doing today with XRP. The fact that you can mint your FXRP from the exchanges over to the Flare network and then you can explore Devi just like that is something that no one else is actually doing for XRP. I've also made a video about that. That is two videos before this video. So, make sure to check it out if you're interested in minting your FXRP straight from the exchanges. It's very simply explained for you guys. But they should actually tell you enough, man, a technology like this, and this is something that I really like about Flare. They are doing everything to reach XRP holders in different ways, right? exchanges, wallets, the examined wallets like an example. So, the fact that they are so hungry to reach to these people should actually tell you enough about the future things what they're going to bring for other assets like Bitcoin, XLM, Doge. I mean, if they're already motivated to do something for XRP, imagine what they can do with bigger things and bigger services that they will actually offer to other people, which actually shows you enough how driven the Flare team actually is.
>> I know you're going to ask me a question about FXRPV 1.3, but you know, just to kind of put a bow around it. Yeah, >> I I've seen I've seen other people talk about other types of headbridge. The reality is that FXRP is the only one with smart accounts. It's the only one that will be directly minted from exchanges and custodians. It's the only one that's really, you know, basically got because of our data protocols, which no one else has. We can do things with FXRP that no one else can do. you you know you can you know in the future with flare smart accounts you'll be able to mint FXRP deposit it to another chain not even flare deposit it to a protocol on another chain do something in that protocol and then bring it back to the XRP ledger all without ever touching any of those blockchains there's no other bridge in the world that can do that and no one's no one's close to that so you know we we'll come on to V1.3 and the very specific things that that does.
But, you know, people ask me why I'm so confident that why why we don't think the competition can really compete. It's because ultimately, you know, if you look at what we've built with FXRP plus our data protocols, it's just a totally different league of capability.
>> Well, not not to give the competitors the game plan to compete though, but like how >> because they haven't got the protocols.
>> Yeah. How far how long would it take them to get to where you are? Was that years? Is that months like >> the you know the protocols are based on on on effectively the network right the the network is the data network the network is the blockchain. Now, it uses the the Flare data connector to be able to see what is happening on the XRP ledger, what what is in the memo field, what is happening on Ethereum, what is happening on this chain and and then we we have, you know, that's all trustless.
Anyone that wanted to try and do that and abstract away that complexity starting from scratch, >> competitors cannot even replicate what Flare is doing today. And this is obviously a bold statement by Hugo Filion. But this is true. What Flair has built throughout the entire years, even in the bare market back in 2022, 2023, they have built quietly while everybody thought that crypto was over. And they have come this far with their layer 1 bakedin oracles and smart contract capabilities. Go look up any other blockchain that has these three and you'll be surprised because Flare is the only project, the only layer 1 blockchain that has smart contract capabilities and bakedin oracles. And because of that, they can provide services to other blockchains that no other project can ever do. It means that we want to be able to handle in the best way possible the largest assets in the space like XRP like Bitcoin of course multiple stables. Then on top of that we think that especially on the XRP ledger if you look at what's happening real world assets are a thing and you know we think that the XRP ledger and a few other ledgers I won't beat around the bush on that one are well suited to the issuance of RWA. Flare is with what we're building with something called Flair 2.0. Flair is extremely well positioned to provide powerful protocols that are private and compliant for those issued assets on ledgers like the XRP ledger. So, you know, a as as a totality, Flare is effectively this hub that sits in the middle of a number of networks and allows you to transact multiple types of assets from that network. We're very from those networks, we're very focused and have been focused for a very long time on XRP. It's kind of our core position. It doesn't mean we won't branch out from XRP tech. So in this part, Yugo actually explains that the XRP ledger is very strong for issuing RWAS, right? We all know that they already surpassed multiple top blockchains with this, but Flare is actually building the private and compliant compute layer that actually is suitable for institutions. And what does this actually mean? Well, just like I was talking about Flare and Ripple working together to actually provide more services to these businesses. Well, with this obviously the private and the compliant compute layer around RWAS on the XRP ledger that Flair is actually building. Well, this is a perfect match for institutions. So, actually just like I mentioned again, both players are winning Ripple and Flare and obviously all of these businesses that just get these products. So, this was part one of the entire interview as I will also cover part two. So, make sure to like and subscribe as I will record this in the next few days for you guys. And a massive shout out to Crypto Sensei for obviously hosting this interview. And because of him, there are some things that we find out obviously about Hugo, his origin, like how he actually found out about Flair. There are some interesting things that you really need to know. So, if you really want to check the full video, I'll put it down below for you guys. And I hope that you guys have enjoyed this content. Make sure to like, subscribe, and don't forget to put something down below. Let me know what you think about this video, and I'll see you guys next time.
