White people are so opposed to cleaning their meats but won't... #Shorts #adivreactionsAdded:
One thing that will always kill me as a black person is seeing white people trying to tell black people, Latino people, Asian people, brown people, all people of color that we shouldn't be washing our meat. And then they say things like the CDC says not to wash your meat cuz it spreads germs. You cook raw, unseasoned chicken. You don't even wash your legs. I'm not taking advice from you about washing meat. My ancestors have been doing it since the beginning of eternity and we're doing just fine.
>> I made this bird glow in the dark so you can see.
>> Oh, here we go. What do we got here? You have to wash your turkey.
Of course you are. You're doing a demonstration.
Oh.
My brain can't fathom that this is how you guys think. Bacteria >> Wash. You mean wash by splattering it like this.
Don't wash your turkey. I'm done here.
I'm done here.
I'm here to tell you right now.
We don't care. Let me tell Let me tell you We don't care.
When we say wash chicken, you guys think we mean put soap and water and turn the faucet on high so germs can spread. When we mean wash, we mean take the chicken out the pack, put it in a bowl or a pan with warm water, a combination of vinegar, lime, lemon, salt, soak it, scrub it, get the slime off, get the feathers off, trim the fat, cut the bits off, and that is considered washing your meat. And everybody does it their way.
But that's what we mean. So forgive me.
I'm not taking advice from you. You've seasoned turkey with air and imagination including mayonnaise. Why would we take advice from on seasoning a a turkey without like washing it and brining it?
I'm so sorry.
Leave us alone. Let us cook the way we cook and it'll be well seasoned and well well done.
Cheers.
