[00:00:00]Hi everybody. Welcome back. I got a new permanent denture.

[00:00:06]My smile really isn't crooked anymore.

[00:00:09]The vertical dimension on this denture is correct for me. I still got a little bit of a Yeah, my lip. It's It's my lip.

[00:00:18]My kids have this, too. I b children that have a little bit of a slant on a lip, too. But it's nowhere near what it was. Here's the picture of me in my old denture versus me in my new denture. And I think that picture of me in the new denture is actually my wax trying, not the permanent denture, not this denture.

[00:00:37]All right, so let's talk about this denture. First of all, I'm posting more about this denture in my Facebook group on not my denture support group, just on my regular Facebook page. I will leave it linked below. So, if you want to come find out because I talk about who made it, the cost, I'm answering questions.

[00:00:56]The person that made it answering questions, there's just a thing going on over there. But I will tell you, this is very affordable. This is not a 3D printed denture. I'm done with 3D printed dentures. This is not a 3D printed denture. This is a traditional made denture by a man that has 30 years experience making dentures.

[00:01:17]He made my denture for me. This is the right vertical dimension for me right here. From here to here, my vertical dimension measurement from here to here. It's pretty long. So, I can do a longer tooth. I'm able to get away with that because from here to here is long. I went to see my dentist and he actually said, "Michelle, from here to here, you're pretty long and you probably could use a longer tooth and it probably would feel better." Guess what?

[00:01:46]It does. Do I wear adhesive in this denture? In the upper denture, no. I have no adhesive in this denture whatsoever.

[00:02:00]In my lower denture right now, I do not, but I'm going to put this in there. You can use any adhesive. I'm just using this cuz that's what I have. Um because that's my preference. Can I get away without wearing adhesive? I don't have adhesive in now. and I could eat something perfectly normal, but right now I'm on I'm dressed up. I'm dressed up and I'm going to a wedding and I don't want to worry about where my bottom denture is. So, I'm going to put adhesive in my lower denture. Um, let's do that right now. All right. So, here's my denture.

[00:02:36]Now, here I am without teeth. I'm 5 years post extraction. So, this is a bleach white shade.

[00:02:46]bleach white. I will ask him what it is because I don't even know. I just said make it blingy and he did. Um I when I when I went to have my denture done because I know he has 30 years experience making a denture, I said, "Make one that you think would look nice on me."

[00:03:07]And and and this is what he came up with. When it came to the gums, oh, I did say I want to be able to see back mullers when I smile. So, I did say that when it comes to the gum color, I said I don't care. I don't care what gum color you use because who's going to see it?

[00:03:26]Me. And I don't want fancy gums. I don't want all the ridges. And I I've seen some dentures that are just ridged up around here. Let me put this in.

[00:03:39]And to me, that's uncomfortable because I want this smooth right here. Let's put this denture in. So, I quit doing that. All right. So, what do I do?

[00:03:49]Keep watching cuz I'm going to talk more about my denture. Okay. What do I do? I I usually take that dot out. And I'm going to talk about my gum or my jaws here in a minute. And And we're just going to put some in here. I don't have to use a lot there. And I'll just take the edge of the tube and just spread it around because that's what I got there. Okay. So, let me talk to you about I'm starting to sweat. These my new lights are hot. Um, let me talk to you about my jaws and the spasms that I've had here. This started probably 20 years ago.

[00:04:29]That's about when I started losing my back mers. I started getting spasms here in face pain and it just I chewed gum from when I woke up to when I went to bed because my face pain was so it was so bad. I even went as far as with my dentist to have all my silver fillings taken out all of those and replaced with the newer material thinking that metal is just doing something. I don't know.

[00:04:55]I'm I'm in a lot of pain. So I even went as far as doing that. That didn't that didn't help. So, with my previous denture, you know, was from Denture Box.

[00:05:03]There's no hiding that. We'll we could talk about that, too. Um, my previous denture, I knew something was wrong with it cuz I kept telling him there's something wrong. Something is wrong with this denture because I'm hurting so much. So, I told Armono, his name is Armando that made my denture. I told him that and he's like, "I got you. I got you." So, we did, I think, three wax tryins and my final denture when I got this, I put it in and I almost cried. I almost cried because this pain is gone.

[00:05:44]All of this is gone. And I can't tell you, I dealt with this for almost 30 years. 30 years of I just thought that was my life. I just thought it's just me. Well, if you have a denture in now and you have pain, something's wrong with your denture. The vertical dimension is off, something is wrong. Like when I had my natural teeth, I lost a lot of my back mers and teeth along here that hold my jaw closed and I was already overclosing and it was causing me pain.

[00:06:21]This denture corrected that for me. I don't have any more spasms going this way. Nothing here. Nothing. Nothing. The cost of this denture is extremely affordable. I will tell you it is less expensive than the previous denture that I was wearing. And this is a traditional, not a 3D printed denture.

[00:06:40]Now, I have talked to a lot of dentists along the way the last year that have the 3D denture in their practice that they're taking it out. They're removing the 3D denture because the quality just isn't there. It's just not there.

[00:06:57]So, I'm switching it up on what I said about a 3D denture. I know. Go to somebody that knows what they're doing when they make your denture. Go to a denturist. Go to a lab tech that has 30 years experience in making dentures because they've seen it all. They they've seen it all. all. So, my previous denture was from Denture Box and I've not spoken about them yet on my channel. I just haven't I've just been letting it ride because I'm like I don't know what to say. I can tell you a lot of you a lot of you have reached out to me because you've gotten a denture that they just printed it off your second try in and said, "Boom, there you go. There you go." or you've not gotten your refund or they just sent you to another company and said, "Here, get your denture made there. If you want a rep print, they'll print it there." Well, first of all, Denture Box was putting a PMA material in the teeth. My teeth wore down. A lot of you, your teeth were wearing down.

[00:08:06]They were shut down. I I I ended my contact with them in last year and said, "Do not ever contact me again. just don't don't contact me anymore. And a lot of you knew that I was friends with Jen.

[00:08:19]And I knew when I said, "I'm done. I'm done."

[00:08:23]That my friendship would then end and it needed to. Fast forward a few weeks or so, the South Dakota Dental Board shut him down. All right. So, Aaron Garner, the owner of Denture Box, is also and has been the owner of Illumination Dentl.

[00:08:42]When they closed denture box, they moved the 3D denture over to Illumination Dentl and they're selling it as happy smiling or smiling faces or keep smiling. I'll put it up here what they're selling it as. And they're only selling to doctors now.

[00:09:02]And they I don't even know what to say. They treated a lot of people really bad.

[00:09:11]They just did. They just did. A lot of you have reached out to me and I'm very, very sorry. I am very, very, very sorry.

[00:09:22]I don't even know what to say. What they did, I don't even know what to say. So, anyway, I really don't want to say anymore about this because a lot of people were hurt, including me.

[00:09:34]In fact, I was in the process of having a denture made by them and filming new content when I said, "No more. I'm done.

[00:09:41]I'm I'm just done. I'm done.

[00:09:45]And then I went ahead and got a traditional denture. So, I don't want to denture more on my new denture, my new traditional denture on my Facebook page.

[00:10:01]The man that made this has been making dentures for 30 years. He has a Facebook page. He's made dentures for other people, just not me. I do because at night when I don't wear my denture, I can't breathe. So, I just wear this all the time. And it just feels wonderful. In fact, I might even get a second denture made in a year.
