White Man Faces MAJOR Backlash After Calling ICE on Mexican HighSchool Students’ Graduation In Texas

[00:00:05]ICE needs to raid this graduation. That is what a man was caught texting during a high school graduation on Tuesday, May 16th in Farmersville, Texas. A photo of the message was quickly spread online, and the man in the photo was identified as Sam Day, who had recently been named as the new director of operations at Commerce Independent School District.

[00:00:29]According to a Facebook post from the district a day after the text controversy went viral online, Commerce ISD rescended its offer to Day. They stated that he had not started working at the school district yet. Prior to this incident, Day worked at several North Texas school districts and hopefully he never gets to work at one ever again. Quite frankly, you clearly should never be around Hispanic students or any students in general if you think less of a certain group of students or if you think it's appropriate for ICE to raid graduation. This man was caught on camera saying ICE needed to raid a graduation. Just after this went viral, his job offer from the school was rescended. Sam Day was caught sending racist texts like, "Every other name is Mexican. We are being overrun at a high school graduation in Texas." He continued to write that ICE needs to raid this graduation. Commerce ISD, the high school that had offered Day an administrator job, has since posted that they have rescended their job offer today, saying this type of behavior does not reflect their values. Day told WFA in Dallas that he is seeking legal counsel. The thing is, this isn't an isolated incident. Since Trump's mass ice raids, people have started treating ICE like their own personal racist army and use real fear to threaten or extort minorities simply for existing. In February, a stadium worker was caught on camera threatening to call ICE on concert goers. She was later fired. In March 2025, Chicago landlords were fined $80,000 because they threatened to call ICE on their tenants in the midst of negotiating rent price hikes. In October 2025, a woman threatened to call ICE on an Iraqi veteran at an MLB game. She was later fired and resigned from the board of directors of a nonprofit. While lawsuits and private companies have held these people accountable, there are many more who are getting away with this.

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences. And honestly, somebody who thinks like Sam should not be involved in education at all. But anyways, let me know what you guys think. Well, he has a face. Commerce ISD resends offer for operations director job following investigation.

[00:05:37]They had already announced that Sam Day was going to be the new director for the district before the accusations arose concerning Hispanic names and ICE. And they announced this on Wednesday. The district said the decision followed an investigation conducted by Superintendent Steve Drummond, Commerce ISD Police Chief Seth McDaniel, the district's human resource department, and Upper Administration. I mean, they did their due diligence. And this man had 12 years in the military before retiring from the city of McKini.
