Erb's palsy, a birth injury affecting the brachial plexus nerves, can potentially be prevented through proper medical training, appropriate delivery maneuvers, and discussions about C-sections during pregnancy when fetal size is a concern; mothers should understand that this condition is not their fault and can actively participate in birth planning discussions with obstetricians by understanding the condition's causes and seeking alternative approaches, while individuals with Erb's palsy should know they are not alone in their experience.

Erb's palsy: how understanding the condition can lead to change #shorts追加:
I think more just help with raising awareness of it because we do know and it's quite frustrating from the literature that I don't want to say never event, but there is a chance of it not happening if the correct training is implemented, you know, the appropriate maneuvers are used or even if discussions around C-sections are happening during the pregnancy cuz obviously you can see if it's going to be a larger baby.
And I think also just a message to the mothers as well like it wasn't your fault and I know a lot of that can happen and you always think what if what if what if like what if I said something at this appointment etc. but it's not the case. It's obviously down to the medical professionals that we put our trust in.
And it's for them to obviously, you know, advise of all options available.
I think hopefully with that and obviously spreading awareness mothers can hopefully understand what Erb's palsy is and then maybe even help raising awareness in regards to themselves having a discussion with the obstetrician and saying look, I know what this is. I know what causes it. Can we kind of go a different route, you know, in terms of the birth?
>> And I think just to people who've got Erb's palsy to know that you're not you're not alone. Like there are other people with it. There are people going through the same thing.
