Money in football is not inherently bad, as it enables clubs to compete at higher levels and generate economic benefits like jobs for local communities, but it also creates challenges such as financial mismanagement and player departures when clubs face bankruptcy, ultimately depending on the intelligence and management of club owners.

"He sat in a taxi crying" | Is money ruining football?Added:
But I don't think money in football is a bad thing.
I don't regret watching Aguero. How would someone like a Sheffield Wednesday, when they're about to go down to League One, how do they compete getting back to the championship?
>> don't know.
I don't How do they get into the Premier League? Deadpool buys them. Yeah, but is that a bad thing that wrecks them?
Well, I mean man, the fact that they're jumping leagues because they've had an influx of money.
>> [music] >> They've also generated like 300 jobs in the area.
They've generated like 400 to 400 jobs in the area. That's only Wrexham. Bear in mind, that's PR as well. Like you know, you've got Rob McElhenney and and and Deadpool going going into Wrexham and what that did, that was that was showbiz. That was that was kayfabe that they call in in the WWF. I've been I've seen my team on the the verge of bankruptcy. We sold Shaun Wright-Phillips to Chelsea to survive.
He was sat in a taxi crying going to London because he wanted to stay at City. So I know mismanagement in my club and I've seen that, too. And absolutely that's an issue. But fundamentally, this is down to the intelligence of owners and all this kind of stuff. But I just don't agree that money's fundamentally bad. I mean, we all enjoy we are 50,000 to 60,000 stadiums. They're there because of money.
