What If We Sell RAINBOW Macaroni and Cheesei?! 🏦🎨🦕 Two Point Museum: Arty-facts!! • #5Ajouté :
Okay, I have to admit it. One of my favorite things about our Artifax adventure so far, other than this ridiculous plushy.
[laughter] Look at that little paint plushy guy.
That is so cute. And look at the little crayons. We can stick the children into tiny little crayon outfits, which is absolutely something that I want to do.
Uh, as soon as you know, we managed to go ahead and convince a bunch of children to hurry up and and come visit the art museum where they can stare at our Hall of Sorrows, which um, I have some I have some unfortunate news about the Hall of Sorrows, friends.
I never even got to give this staff member his own name.
We just lost another staff member who didn't even have one of the Patreon names of glory because we never even managed to get there. We were so busy trying to go ahead and get some more of those wonderful painted fish that um uh we never even managed to like give him a name.
So, I have a lot of guilt about that and a lot of knowledge that we're going to need to maybe Oh my gosh, at this phase we're going to end up having to have someone tell their stories. I'm gonna end up needing to have like a a tour guide who just wanders through the Hall of Sorrows, which I had to go ahead and expand recently to fit the memorial. Oh dear. Uh, and we're going to we're going to need to expand that and have like a tour guide just give lots of talks about it. And speaking of expanding things, tada. Well, actually, it feels really, really, really Okay, that didn't feel the best saying right after I just introduced the fact that we had another unnamed patron end up becoming.
All right. All right.
You know what? I have I have an idea. I have an idea about how we're going to be doing this. Cobalt Knights, you happen to be next on the Patreon name list where we say thank you very much to the people who make all of these adventures possible. And so, Cobalt Knights, I think we're going to have this be your um eighth cousin. So, that's going to be your eighth cousin. We are terrifyingly going to hire you now, Cobalt Knights, in the position of a guard who's delightful and loyal. Oh, heck. I really hope we can keep you alive, but we're going to have you be a delightful loyal guard. Um, I think we'll go ahead and give you for now. We need that strolling surveillance. And now I kind of feel like maybe you want to avenge [music] your your family member, but it's just survival that keeps you alive down there. Um, let's give you if but if you delight nearby guests.
Oh man. Okay, I'm going to give you strolling [music] s but if you could move quickly.
And I haven't really had to worry about thieves recently. [music] So, but you need strolling surveillance to go into the ravenous ravine. All right. You know what? Hang on just a second. Cobalt knights, we're going to have you be um let's see. So, your your eighth cousin ended up becoming fish food. So, I wonder if we're going to have you be aquatic arts, aquatic uh antiques, maybe aquatic antiques, uh seeker, uh aquatic h or maybe aquatic adventures.
Aquatic adventures security guard or like aquatic adventures cobalt knights.
Maybe you're just up for any adventure.
Is it looking for lost treasure? Is it trying to figure out if there happen to be more of those wet Atlantan folk or some of the Kelpians down under the seas? You don't care because you're going to show up and you're going to do what you can to contribute to the safety of our whole little society. Also, I need to see what what we got from that very sad sacrifice at the Ravenous Caverns.
Siren songstress Amy Wolfong, you managed to survive that expedition and you brought back a painted portside fish with pristine and big fish even.
Well, that helps on one hand and also is like oh man on another hand because that's going to make it a little difficult to uh actually go ahead and we can only put one of them in. Rare specimen higher buzz breeding chance two in the same tank will lead to fighting and possible death. You know what? This is perfect. Maybe we'll end up with two painted port side fish areas. Uh, but yes. Okay, that actually means that we are significantly safer than I was anticipating on uh not having to go back into the Ravveness Caverns since we were after the painted portside fish for reasons that ended up involving risking the near death of our employees, which was not part of the plans [laughter] to be fair. Not part of the plans. So, now we can have Cobalt Knights go ahead and with that delightful loyal personality of theirs. Um, look, I'm going to end up making like a sewer system somewhere as soon as I can expand past here, but we're working on that. And now that that's been taken care of, I can introduce you guys to another new expansion. And again, it feels really weird to say that when you know there's a whole there's a whole like memorial area in here. I'm sorry.
[laughter] I really didn't mean to accidentally cause like the demise of so many of our employees, but I really felt that we could take those risky biscuits in exchange for getting our hands on some of those painted portside fish. And it turns out that the biscuits were a lot riskier than I expected. Reminder to self, I really need to make sure that I'm not somebody who's trying to decide whether a mysterious plant out in the wild happens to be like a a deadly poison or if it happens to be like a dectable tea. I I don't think I should be trusted with that that uh decision. [laughter] Just saying.
All right. So, in honor of those we have lost. Lucky, we're going to leave the name Lucky Legend Hunter. Even if you could argue becoming lost on your very first mission, possibly an extremely unlucky turn of events. But our lucky legend hunter, Lark Spring, is going to stay over there along with our new [gasps] Cobalt Knights eighth cousin. Um, we're going to go ahead. I love these hanging lamps for being able to direct the light right on them. Hopefully, we'll be able to tell stories of their their heroics sooner than later. And hopefully by going ahead and having this vastly expanded aquarium space that takes up the area that had a whole bunch of pipes and tubes. Honestly, I kind of love the idea that even though it was really um quite interestingly kitted out with a bunch of these like pipes, tubes, the iron columns and girders that reminded me of the city museum in St. Louis. And if you've ever been, please let me know because it's a very special experience.
Or it was, oh dear, that moment when you realize it's been so long since you were in middle school going there for a field trip. You need to make sure it still exists.
>> [laughter] >> Uh, but we went ahead and we turned those pipes and all of those little cogs and girders into a aquarium, which I thought was like pretty fitting. The idea that the aquarium is basically on top of those pipes. And now we can go ahead tweak this around just a touch.
I'm glad we still have our like aquarium people, too. Um, I usually like to try to hide where some of the filters and things go.
H, like at the back or something like that, but it also takes longer for people to [laughter] to meander if I do that. Okay, we'll exper experiment with this. And then I think we need a temperate climate for our new fish friends. So, let's see.
Not tropical, just temperate. [music] That's right. And then uh is it flake food? Look at all those pristine port side fish. So, aquarium ruins and flake food. All right, let's get some flake food in here. Flake food dispenser.
All right, there we go. And then we're going to need Oh, we can't afford it.
Wow, we're really making a lot of money.
[laughter] I I'm going to admit I wasn't expecting that because I haven't been paying attention to the funds and usually until we manage to get some sort of magical mysterious force of uh like tour and what else makes the big money really tour guides and having things at maximum buzz makes the big [music] money. I'm somewhat shocked that it seems that our gift shop seems to be doing really well.
But maybe if you walk into a hoidy toy like art museum, you want to appear like you've got the the hoidy toy likeness to be able to spend the money.
Oh dear. Um, which having been to many art museums, I can see where that environment kind of capitalizes on some of the cultural concepts to [music] make you feel like, oh, if I need if I want to fit [clears throat] in here, I I need to look like I'm ready to drop. How many hundreds is it for that poster? That's ridiculous. [laughter] My beloved husband Chips and I have gone to so many art museums because of his background as an art historian um like researcher and professor and so many times I love looking at the gift shops until like some of the places when you see the same stuff repeated just maybe they changed [music] like the name of the museum on the label you just roll your eyes cuz you're looking for something that really kind of immerses you more in that experience and that right away tells you maybe I do have a a little bit of that hoyyiness without meaning to [laughter] about going to the art museums. But the thing that always gets me is the pieces that are layered caked in dust and when you are are looking at why like oh I thought that that's a replica of a really famous piece of art. Why is it still here? I would have thought somebody wanted it for their gilded golden end table for all I know. Then you see the price on it [music] and it's like you could you could I would rather have our wonderful artist Allari create art that inspires and delights and and fills the soul with sustenance rather than pay that much money for like a a poster. We have a really nice printer at this phase of technologies creation. I could just go ahead and and well, I probably, you know, I shouldn't and I haven't, [music] but you could just like get a picture off the internet or like off your phone and print that picture and be like, "Ah, that'll do." And I wouldn't I haven't ever done that cuz we actually I'm looking around. That's a picture of an osprey with a fish. That's a picture of clover. That's a picture of uh Daisy, our guinea pigs. That's a picture uh that's some original art from Etsy that my [music] sister-in-law got me of a guinea pig and a a [music] bok choy.
Yeah. No. [laughter] So, I've not ever done that cuz I really like looking for things that are that are like they provoke emotions usually through the experience of how you got that piece. Um, but I I just you realize, oh, that's why that piece is covered in dust and hasn't moved in years because it's unreasonably, not reasonably, but unreasonably overpriced for an overproduced like literal you could the quality of the stuff. Dang it. I am an art snob. Look, I've gotten married I've gotten married to an art historian and a philosopher.
I've seen stuff. That's all I can say. I I'm kind of amazed at how I walked myself straight straight into having to throw up my arms and admit, "Wait a second. There's something wrong here. It seems as though I am an [laughter] art snob.
[gasps] Oh my gosh. Well, at least I discovered something about myself. Also, I need to actually start paying attention to the prices unless people are just going after those pricey posters in our gift shop." And let's add in the two painted port side fish who have gone through so much in order to be here. We're going to grab these two fish and leave the other the other big painted port side fish in [music] in our storage for now. Maybe we keep the fish tank over in our like staff lounge. That would be kind of hilarious. And then this one wants to have some seashells.
So, we'll add in a couple seashells.
There you go, little friend.
And we will definitely come in and tend to adding in more of like the grasses, the seagrass, which I have learned so much about. There we go.
And we definitely will work on trying to make this area [music] a little fancier because I'm hoping our wonderful painted port side fish will go ahead and consider having uh some fish babies for us. They're not terribly hard to go ahead and farm. And while we wait, I guess I could take a quick glance to see. Oh, there we go. So, the painted uh this is going to be h the the paintbrush.
Paintbrush pools. Oh my gosh.
There we go. All right. Paintbrush pools it is. And then we need to get another donation stand in here for sure so people can think about helping us to keep the uh wonderful painted pools.
really thriving as they wander by.
Trying to find a spot where I can put the donation bin is a little bit of a struggle because there's just Oh my gosh. Maybe we need the smaller ones just for a minute. Uh let's see. All right. I think a couple smaller ones might actually help us out here. Like we can we can sprinkle those through. And then let's see. Wide digital [music] stand. Long range. I don't know if we need that one. Angled info stand.
The angled info stands are really awesome, too. And I feel like I feel like they very [music] much fit the the themes we're going for. It's been so exciting to see how the different the different additions over the [music] updates and expansions to our 2 museum adventures have gone because I really do feel like they've added so much that'll let us really customize [music] the uh the place to in I mean if they give me more plants that [music] would be an even truer statement but really kind of customize the experience that we're able to go ahead and offer to our wonderful full guest so that they can come out and they can really feel like they have a informative, knowledgeable, hopefully very happy experience coming to see what we have among our our sea fish and our art and the many many other things that we have scattered about.
Let's see. And then let's get some benches maybe. Oh man, we are making money. I don't know what to do with that. [laughter] It catches one a little offguard when you're like, wait, is that actually like money go up, not down?
Huh, that's unexpected.
And then maybe we'll move the seating.
Maybe we'll put like a vending machine back here for a minute. Or maybe not.
Hm.
Maybe I'll put in just a couple seats for just a second.
Just sort of at the back. And we'll work on that in a moment. Um, no, I don't want the gift shop room. I want to put down some.
Should we keep up? Oh, the gravel floor I think would be really cool. There we go. for this little room. Hopefully the painted port side fish will decide to have some more fish babies. And how are we doing an exhibit colle? Actually, it seems like really exciting to think about collectors coming to try out our exhibits now that we actually happen to have art that we make ourselves. So, it's not just like trading exhibit pieces that we found. We're creating those exhibits, which is really fun. Oh, well, this is a space collector, so we'll see. We'll see what they're looking for. Meanwhile, we have completed one of our expeditions to the Peerly Ruins, and we did indeed bring back some pebbles. So, let's take a little peek at that because right over here above that glorious, beautiful monstera happens to be Pepperly Ruins.
the ancient ruins within overgrowth jungle that have been prodded and poked by most of the county's expert minds and curious fingers. And this is the area that we send an expedition to in order to get [music] clay. And I think that's kind of the only thing we bring back.
And so I'm kind of wondering how can we how can we convince our art expert to bring back the most amount of clay? Hm.
Would it be I wonder if we're going to end up being able to create a cargo thing that's like a paint bucket [laughter] that Oh, that's a bird. Oh, hold up here. Oh, that's right. And we have our little squirrel friend over here and learning about joy. Okay, so h our tumble downs where we have Oh, and there's more stuff to unlock. Look at those planks. Okay, that would be really fun, too. So, we have an art studio with level five decoration. We have guest entertainment above 70%. And we have over 300 buzz from our best art enthusiast visit.
Oh my gosh, it's so cute. [laughter] Okay, so we can actually go to Tumble Downs, which is a place that will have famous interactive art. We were just talking about shoving children into those crayon outfits. And then down here we have sweaty palms. A stay at the sweltering beachfront destination will leave you clammy in the in most ways imaginable. Shellfish.
You guys employ an expert qualified in 3D art. We can also get the art cuboid, a painting shelf, and a drip shake. Drip shake decal. I've wanted to have like paint splotches splattered around the place. Yes. This also has interactive art and famous art. Oh my gosh. And that would be so fitting because we just got the painted portside fish. And then this is where you could learn about romance over at the uh Piaza [music] Lantra. Oh my gosh. A performance stage. Pardon me.
[laughter] And then over here I see our seagulls. This would be Noblestead. This castle town has survived centuries of playful rivalry with and more than one siege from the Blackard Knights. Oh my gosh. [gasps] Wall potted brush flowers. The artist trolley. Large monochrome rectangle rug.
Complete two expeditions [music] to sweaty palms. Buy four dripshaped decals. I think that's going to have to be the next thing that we work on because that [music] sounds absolutely amazing. And here at Sweaty Palms, does this teach you an emotion? It does not, but it has a famous [music] art piece we can go ahead and dig up. We could paint the roses. [music] That's really funny cuz you stop and smell the roses and your pilot wings let you do this. Culture shock could result in an illness that makes you need to go to the remedial springs. Oh my word.
[laughter] You could have the spectrum of light [music] from feeling light-sided. Emotional intelligence unlocks that. You need to avoid the distressed crab and slipping in the um slippery paint. So, flower artist Adelaide Fay, if you could go with H treasure hunter, Lord th Lord of Thunder because [music] that would also give us the paint the roses and also give us both the globe trotder and the photographic memory. So then we can actually get a little bit more skill on being able [music] to complete some of our survey. Haha. And then we'll take our art journal obviously. And I think I think just a speedy journey to the sweaty palms area when we have to like go twice would be good. And then we need to craft a sculpture as well. And I redid the art room and added another bathroom. Maybe that's one of the reasons we have more money. [laughter] But I redid the art room in order to go ahead and uh just have a little bit more space for there we go for the painting area to kind of be somewhere with lots of great light. And I want to decorate it more, but apparently we totally can now that we know that we are exceptionally close to being able to snag ourselves some more artistic decorations [music] like that paint splatter. All right, where has that paint splatter gone?
because I Here's the painting shelf. We unlocked it for Kudosh, which we do have a lot of, even though I was supposed to spend it on our animals. [laughter] Whoops. Well, life does happen. Um Oh, and we do we need to [music] like How do I unlock How do I unlock the paint drips? Is it that [music] we have to have we already unlocked them or do I need to unlock them? I forgot about where the paint drips are hiding, but we're going to get to that for now. We do have some clay that we have collected from one of the other expeditions. And we have I believe [music] Okay. I thought we had somebody employed with 3D 3D art, but apparently we don't.
Hm. Clay commotion could happen. An ingenious work. If we had a 3D artist gives bonus buzz to art enthusiast guest contributes one additional knowledge. Oh wow. The inclusion of more knowledge. That's ridiculous. Allari the pixel artist master. We have clay, bronze, and marble but alas no macaroni to currently work with. You currently only experience joy.
But if you can get that promotion, [laughter] uh uh then we might be able to go ahead and create something really delightful.
The sketchy process actually works with the sculptures, too. Well, that's that's helpful. Um we get Oh, if we do the deep work, that's when we get the perks added.
[gasps] Okay, we're going to need to do that even though it's going to take a little longer. But I I I think we're actually making money, too. What the heck?
That's really wild. Especially cuz a lot of our original artwork is just like one one great like boost. And bless it, but just like average, [music] we're back from sweaty palms already. D, we were able to paint the roses and really gain a lot from that expedition in terms of [music] experience.
That's adorable.
That's so adorable.
The miniature Lisa. This iconic dimunitive piece is still provoking unanswerable questions to this today.
Questions like, can you see anything from here? [laughter] What is she smiling about? And was she really that small? It's very unique.
There's nothing like it. It evokes feelings of sophistication and romance.
When guests happen to view this, they like to go to uh they get a boost to toilet comfort because you don't have to go to the bathroom if you're highbrow, I suppose.
[laughter] And um they also increase buzz when viewing info stands with if you're feeling sophisticated. Gosh darn it. That just reinforces the art snob sort of joke from earlier because my husband and I are always reading the info things. Ah, [sighs and gasps] it also evokes feelings of romance which helps out with the environment and increases buzz when visiting the cafeteria.
That's amazing.
I Where am I going to put this miniature [music] glory? I feel like Here we go. We'll start with this. We'll start here and then we'll work our way up. It hates litter. It's adorable. It's pristine. Uh, a security tag means it can't be stolen even though it's so tiny. And then increases sale value by a thou 100%. Thousand would be way too much. We're not going to sell it right now. Uh, so let's actually put a security tag on it so that hopefully it can't be stolen because that sounds amazing. And then maybe we can stick some really like what would be our fanciest most hoidy toy like la sort of oh there's the paint drips. Oh thank goodness sort of decorations we've got.
I'm going to need to think about that too. Oh man. I feel like that might be related to either fantasy or like our ghost stuff. Also we do need to create an epic painting. And now that we are starting to [music] get a few more artists and now that the art does take good art takes time. I wonder if we should keep our eyes out for more fantastic Yepy likes to paint an urban landscape.
[laughter] Asleep at the pottery will and destructive possibly not who we're looking for, but we'll keep our our minds open for other other art experts.
Um, [laughter] so we might need to make another art studio pretty [music] soon. Uh, and I'm feeling a little confident about that, but we might save up so that we can hopefully get ourselves another one of the helicopters [music] first. But all right, guys. Thank you so much for joining us on this wonderful, wonderful jump into finally starting to sort out some of the chaos [laughter] that happens with our many, many uh, many, many wonderful Oh, wow. We need Okay, hang on. I need to get some more artists before we really [music] start blasting off because there's not enough artists to restore all of the artwork and then also do tours and probably need to make sure uh 2D art clumsy and also makes the work snotty and romantic.
Thank you for your your application.
I'm feeling the stress because I have [music] so many like art friends and I know how important portfolio presentation is and I [music] feel really bad turning some of these people down. [laughter] But all right, I will see you all next time. Bye-bye.
