CASH STUFFING My $5 Saving Challenge ๐ธAdded:
What is going on, guys? Welcome or welcome back to my channel. As you saw in the title for today's video, we're going to be cash stuffing our $5 saving challenge money. If you guys aren't familiar with what the $5 saving challenge is, it's basically this challenge. Each icon is $5 and I just stuffed it each time I got paid and the total is $300. So, now we have $300 to cash stuff into our categories. If you guys are new here, I'm a 20-year-old cash stuffer and budgeter working a full-time job while also a full-time college student in college. I'm currently studying finance with the minor in international business. And I just finished my second year in college.
Like I said, today we're going to be cash stuffing this money into our three categories. Our bills binder, our high priority binder, and also our saving challenges. Let's get on to the cash.
>> All right, guys. We are back to our regular setup. Here we have our money and our binders. We're actually going to start off by counting this money. I also do have to erase these because I am going to be doing this challenge again, but I don't have alcohol right now.
So, we're going to be doing that later.
But, we're going to count this money first.
So over here we have 20 40 60 81 20 40 60 82 20 40 60 80. So 280 in fives we have five 10 $10 in fives and in ones we have 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10.
$10 in ones which is the correct amount.
So, 300's in total, which is correct.
Also, guys, sorry for the glare. Um, it is really gloomy and just not nice outside today. So, I'm having to use my two ring lights. So, there might be a glare on like my hands moving like a shadow. So, just ignore that.
Just stay focused on the money.
But we are going to start off with our bills binder.
And from our bills binder, we're actually only going to be cash stuffing our car insurance, which is going to be getting $20.
So now our car insurance has $25 and our car insurance is 130 every month.
And I just had to pay it off today.
So, we're actually kind of ahead, but only car insurance will be getting my money today.
All right, next on we're going to move on to my high priority binder, which is this black binder. This black binder, guys, has always been my high priority binder.
Literally since I was 16 years old, I haven't switched my binders. All my binders have been the same. All the stickers, everything been the same since I started cash stuffing. Someone actually pointed that out the other day in a video and I was like, "Wow, you guys really like pay attention."
But we're going to do our black binder next, which first is our emergency fund, which is going to be getting $20.
All right. Now, our emergency fund has $100 in my high yield savings account.
So, 150, 200, 220, 40, 60, 80, 300, 20, 40, 60, 80, 85, 90, 95, and 400. Wow.
$400 in our emergency fund.
All right.
Next up is my college fund which is going to be getting $40 20 and 40.
Guys, I also did post my budgeting with me video. I budgeted my last part-time job paycheck. So, if you guys missed that, definitely go check it out. Great video, by the way. Said goodbye to my last job because I do work full-time now.
Feeling really grown. But let's see what college fund has.
50 70 90 and 110.
110 in our college fund.
All right.
Next up is our savings, which is going to be getting $20.
Now, our savings has $200 in the bank.
So, 250, 70, 90, 310, 315, 320, 325, 330, 35, 40, 45, and 50. So, $350 in our savings.
That is great.
Next up is our travel, which is actually going to be getting $20. And that is all we have in here.
I just bought my flight to Honduras. So now we're just have to save for money to actually bring there.
But next on is our car maintenance, which is also going to get $20.
Now our car meetings has 50, 70, 90, 110, 130, 150, 170, 190, and 195.
I don't know why I just didn't round up to 200, but 195 in our car maintenance.
All right, next up is our Roth RA, which is going to be getting $10.
Just going to do the two fives because it's just easier that way.
The $10 and our Roth R8.
And lastly is our moving out which is going to be getting $40.
Guys, I literally move up move out in like two weeks. And I don't have a bed.
I don't have a I don't have anything.
So, we're going to have to take some of this money out to buy a bed, a dresser, and a desk.
But now we're moving out. Has $100 in the bank. So 150 70 90 210 230 250 270 290 310 315 316 317 318 319 and $320 in our moving out All right.
So, that is that for our high priority binder. Now, we're going to move on to our low priority binder. I know I said I wasn't stuffing this, but I forgot that I added it in my budget.
So, gifts is going to be getting $5.
One, two, three, four, five.
And that is all it has now.
5 in gifts.
All right. And our entertainment is also going to be getting $5.
One, two, three, four, five.
Now, entertainment has 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 $15 in our entertainment.
All right, guys. cuz I kind of want to add more categories to my low priority binder, but I just have no clue what else to add. So, leave me some ideas down below what as what else I can add to my low priority binder because I feel like I could be adding like more important categories, but I just can't think of any right now. So, if you guys have any recommendations, leave them down below in the comments. I will be reading all the comments and just any ideas you guys have. But now we're going to do our saving challenges, which we're only going to be stuffing our 100 envelope.
We're actually going to be adding $100 to our number 92.
As you guys know, we're starting up with the 90s. And basically I just round up for all the 90s I rounded up to 100. So we're going to do 92. And we're just going to round up to 100.
All right. 92 is right here.
I broke the streak of all 50s, but we only have 20s today. So I'm going to change change it up.
Oh, that's smooth.
That's what I like to see every time I put money in here cuz sometimes it be so hard. And yeah, but that is what we have left.
