Baselworld Jewelry and Watch Fair, launching in April 2027, is a new international trade platform created through a partnership between MCH Group (with over 100 years of experience hosting events like Art Basel) and Informa Markets (the world's leading B2B event organizer). The fair aims to connect the East and West by bringing together jewelry makers, watchmakers, and brands from Asia, Europe, and beyond under one roof in Basel, Switzerland. The concept is built on 'access through discovery,' positioning the fair as a 'city' that holds diverse cultures without flattening them, rather than a traditional trade fair grid. The event will feature approximately 400 exhibitors, with an initial focus on jewelry (50%), followed by gems (25%) and watches (25%), and is designed to be more affordable for exhibitors while providing direct access to European buyers seeking innovations and specialized products.
