[00:00:51]We already made a video with the people you would see in this video, but we're looking at them from a different angle now. I put out this video and a lot of people were in the comments pointing out the fact that the Russian kid actually sounds Filipino. And then when I paid attention, I thought, it seems like they're right. Now, you would be the judge. This is what a typical Russian would sound like cuz I interviewed some other Russians and this is what they sounded like.

[00:03:15]>> Uh it's all right. The school is quite easy and then it's really fun to live here because it's uh warm, the weather's really warm and then uh yeah, you can just play, you can run, you can just go to the beach. It's really good.

[00:03:30]>> Okay. What's the name of your school?

[00:03:32]>> Bohol Wisdom School.

[00:03:33]>> Oh, that's cool. It's an international school?

[00:03:36]>> Yes. It's a half Chinese, half uh Filipino school.

[00:03:40]>> What has your experience been like in the Philippines?

[00:03:43]>> Um I experience happiness because it's really good to stay here. It's really fun.

[00:03:53]>> Yeah. I believe you know a lot of Filipino food, too. Which one is your favorite?

[00:04:10]>> Yeah, I do recommend Philippines because Philippines is really good. The weather in summer, in this summer, it's really sunny and then you can just relax here.

[00:04:26]>> Magandang umaga po. I don't speak Bisaya.

[00:05:45]Um we came for 2 years, right right after he was born so I wouldn't have to go back to work right away and just fell in love and have been here ever since.

[00:05:57]>> That's really nice to hear. So, let's know your first impression of the Philippines. I mean, 27 years ago when you got here.

[00:06:04]>> My very first impression was why are there so many guards everywhere with guns?

[00:06:09]I like I just couldn't get over it. Why does McDonald's, you know, have a guard with guns? And now I'm so used to it when I travel, I'm like, oh, where's all the guards? You know, and Manila gets such a bad rap.

[00:06:25]Everybody talks such bad crap about Manila.

[00:06:29]But I love it.

[00:06:31]You know, I do. I do. I have fantastic friends there.

[00:06:36]Um, I live in Makati, so I can walk a lot if it's Carmageddon, if the traffic's hitting the fan, you know. So, I love it. First of all, it's not that sketchy.

[00:06:49]You know, if you want to avoid sketch, pick your area and don't go for poverty tourism, which I see on YouTube and everywhere all the time, which I cannot stand. Yeah.
