Billions Lost In TransitHinzugefügt:
Now, if you think about Nigeria, we produce over 11 billion tons of perishable food every year. And of that amount of perishable food, we only have about 1,000 refrigerated trucks to, you know, carry and transport that food from origin to the consumer and to other markets, right? We need over 20,000. In order to meet the demand of the perishable food that we have. And if you think about the difference between over 20,000 and 1,000, that's a sizeable gap that people have estimated is worth about $9 billion annually. This is just taking the output value and calculating the loss rate from that.
