Even highly successful sales professionals with extensive experience cannot close every sale; sales failures are inevitable and part of the business process. Common reasons for sales call failures include unprofessional behavior, poor lead qualification, failure to address customer objections, and not recognizing when a prospect is not a good fit. Successful salespeople must accept that some calls will fail, learn from each failure, and focus on continuous improvement rather than perfection.

Watch Me FAIL Sales Calls Live ($450k/Month Agency Owner)Added:
So, we have an agency that does $449,000 a month. I'm going to refresh this real quick. Again, I want to show you guys today all the failures. So, I have so many sales calls that I have failed and so many of you guys are trying to do appointments and uh doing sales and all this stuff and you handle these objections. Here's the thing, guys. You can't always handle objections. Like, I'm going to show you all these different calls today and literally show you the sticking point in each call where I realize that I failed, right?
And again, I have done so many calls that I could sell somebody upside down, backwards, forwards. I could sell someone if I was in a coma, right? Am I going to sell everyone? No. But I know the script and everything that they're going to say before they even say it.
That's how many like that's the number and the volume of sales calls I've done, right? So, perfect example. Um, so I just refreshed. We have 449K in Rev. We have 11 new disputes right now, right?
Um, we have,81 active subs. Uh, we're down from 1337. Everything's down right now. Like this is the behind the scenes of running a $450 almost half a million dollar a month company. It's not all sunshine and rainbows and everyone online likes to pretend like they're so successful and they have no issues and like you know buy my course XYZ. That being said, you should still buy my [ __ ] and sign up with my link. I love you.
But like people have to understand, dude, like this is complicated. There's a lot of backend stuff. There's a lot of failure. So today I'm going to show you all the fails in my sales calls. Let's actually just get right into it. Um, I'm just going to show you a quick sneak peek because this call was actually hilarious. And again, I'm not saying like I probably shouldn't have done a lot of the stuff I did here. I won't lie. Um, I was a little bit unprofessional, but um, yeah, let's just get into it.
>> You serious? This is like how you run your business. You don't like have conversations with people and like teach them your value. Dude, I would never pay like >> I get it.
>> I know.
>> All right, let me restart the call because it's a very short call. Um, let me go ahead and put this in full screen.
>> You have a girl in the >> my camera. Did you uh did you get a chance to watch that short video I sent over to you?
>> Uh not really. I I didn't have time. I had I was at a job site. So >> Jameson, you're breaking my heart, dude.
>> Why?
>> Cuz dude, that video that video goes over everything we do, man. Now I have to send it to you and now I have to now I have to get you to watch it, man.
>> Well, I know. I kind of have an idea.
Not like an idea. I've watched a lot of your content, so I've seen like I've seen you around and watched it. Um I kind of have an idea. I've I've looked into this stuff.
No, I mean >> is what if I told you if I send you this video, 95% of people watch it and it's either a yes or no on the spot and it's five minutes.
>> Yeah, but I'm not here to make it yes or no. I'm here to have a conversation with you and learn if I want to work with you in the future.
>> Not going to lie, Jameson, that's a uh that's a very fair point. Sorry, guys.
I'm just going to move my move over my camera real quick cuz it is in my way. I can't see [ __ ] Um that's a very fair point. Again, this was probably one of the most unprofessional sales calls I've ever had, but this should show you guys like the level of the that I was at.
Like, I did this 12 hours a day. Like, I did so many of these calls that at this point I was just hurting the company by still doing these sales calls, right?
That's why I hired a sales team. But the point is, I've just done so many of them. And I don't think people understand the amount of just pure volume that I've done for sales, right?
They they see this $450,000 a month company and like I just get people who somehow think it just like happened, right? or somehow think that I overcome every objection. Like, I can't wait for you guys to see all these cuz like you'll see how much I get hit with all the same [ __ ] objections that you guys do, right? Let's get back into this very unprofessional video.
Ah, we don't really do that. We only really do yes or nos. Sorry.
>> Are you serious? This is like how you run your business. You don't like have conversations with people and like teach them your value. Dude, I would never pay like >> I get it. I know. Um, what what >> you have like a girl in the back. You look like you're in a frat house. like you're there's somebody in the backyard.
You're not going to have a conversation with me about what >> to be fair. I don't really see what having a girl in the background has to do with having a real conversation. But this dude has a very valid point. Like this was definitely not the way you should do sales calls.
>> Actually, we just got evicted from my Airbnb because the Airbnb host apparently rented it to us illegally.
So, it's been a [ __ ] >> Oh, that's hilarious. [laughter] >> Yeah. All right. I mean, I guess this conversation is pointless cuz >> So, the video lags out here, but basically he's just like, "All right, bye, dude." Like, I totally understand.
super not professional call, but again, this is what happens. Like, I've done a bunch of these. Like, you're going to see a bunch of this stuff today, right?
Um, let's get into another one right here. I'll just play the actual full video here.
>> I hear you.
>> I hear you, too. Awesome, dude. Hey, did you uh you get a chance to watch that short video I sent over to you?
>> I did. Yeah, >> my man. Awesome. Honestly, dude, that video is exactly what we do. Um, guys, kind of hop on, have some questions. If it all makes sense, we'll get it going.
Is that Is that cool?
>> Sure.
>> All right, man. Let's do it. That being said, what uh what questions do you have for me, man? Well, I already have a dispatcher that's, you know, 20, you know, seven days a week from 8 to 4. So, I'm not sure how that's going to tail into the >> auto call text back.
>> Yeah.
>> So, they never miss phone calls ever.
>> Oh, really? They're pretty good. I mean, we have backup phones and everything else and it rolls to their next phone.
>> Okay. So, you don't need you don't need the auto call text back. How about reviews and website?
>> Uh, I have a website.
>> Okay.
>> I have.
>> So, I'm like I'm like thinking like, dude, why are you even in this call, man? He didn't watch the video and he like he already has all the stuff we offer. So it's like all the time this would happen guys. Like I get hit with this stuff all the time. Just like why why are you here dude? Like at a point it just gets so frustrating.
>> A review. I use real work labs right now.
>> So you don't need us.
>> Uh I have everything set up but do do you do SEO management paper click?
>> No.
>> I don't.
>> Uhuh.
>> No. All right. No, I think we're good then.
>> All right, man. Have a good one. Thanks a lot, bud. I If I have anybody else, I'll refer him to you.
>> All right, dude. Thanks. Have a good one. That was a nice guy, right? Super nice guy. Again, fail. Boom. Didn't close them. Literally just didn't even like Again, I didn't even have objections here. He just literally didn't know what we do. He didn't even need didn't even need our service, right? So, we just paid, think about this, we paid like a $100 from ads to get this guy on a call and this is what I get. Right? This shit's frustrating and like it's it's sad and it's super annoying when like I pay money and I get this kind of a person who just clearly doesn't need us, right? But again, that's business, guys. Like that is the back end. That's the [ __ ] that is just like necessary to win.
Let's Let's get this one. This is another one.
>> Yeah, I don't need it. I've got enough investors uh to keep us busy as well.
I'm just trying to make a decision on making those adjustments to my business at this current point. I've got over 250 subcontractors underneath me. Just to give you a base, >> we're probably we're probably not the company for you then, man. Honestly, if you don't if you don't think you need a website, there's really not much we can do to help you.
>> All right. Thanks, man. I appreciate your time.
>> Yeah, no worries.
>> Boom. doesn't doesn't even close. Like this guy's telling me how like how great his business is and he doesn't even have a website. Like I remember this call very vividly. Like this dude was like trying to flex on me about how rich he was and all this stuff. I'm like, "Dude, you don't even have a website." Like, and he couldn't even understand why a website was valuable, right? And again, I probably could be more professional in these calls, but again, it showed like this should show you like guys, I get super frustrated. I was super frustrated. I was super miserable. I [ __ ] hated my life every single day.
But again, I was building a business. I was in the trenches literally doing what's required to where we are to like get where we are now, right? But this is the backend [ __ ] that nobody ever shows.
Um, all right. Let's do another one.
>> Okay. All right. So, if I move forward, what's next step?
>> So, this guy had like a weird speech thing. I couldn't really hear him well, but he just said, "So, if we move forward, what's the next step?" That's what he just said here. And again, like I I had a really hard time hearing this guy. I'm sure you guys might as well.
So, I won't This is a short one.
>> Uh, I already have all your stuff, so I just need to schedule your onboarding call and take your payment. That was my attempt to try to still close them right there. And again, I'm of course I'm only showing you guys like the last parts of these calls just so you can see me consistently go through. Look, this is a 27 minute call. Go through an entire call and not close. Go through an entire call and not close. Um, let's see what happens here.
>> 297.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, my fiance is coming back down tonight from um >> There it is. The fiance wife objection >> from Tampa. know. Um, I got you. So, can you send me an email?
>> Mhm.
>> Or there it is. Can you send me an email with more information? Oh, I have to talk to my wife and my cat and my spiritual leader. Like, God, man. It's $297 a month, dude. I know you've seen the video like going over what we do.
Like, it's a yes or no decision, right?
>> Yeah.
>> We don't do follow-up calls, man. I'm sorry. It's it's that's that's it's really just like a yes or no situation.
I don't I don't think your fiance is going to change anything, man. I know I the thing is well unfortunately not you know unfortunately I just you know you know this is not this is not a this is a relationship that's not a first date we try have sex you know so that's why you guys work that's why you guys working apologize about your time but >> all right no worries have you >> all right little bit of a douchebag me not him by the way I mean he he was fine I was probably just being a douche um but again I was I was frustrated as hell so let's do another one [clears throat] this one super cringe talk about cringe dude talk about like oh my god This one was super gnarly. I mean, just this this is like when you tell a joke and it just the the whole room falls silent, man.
>> Um, anything else you would say about the product or I should tell my customers?
>> Just tell them where they sign up.
>> Tell them where they're [ __ ] I really just said that, dude. So cringe, bro.
What am I doing?
>> Do what?
>> Just tell them where they're [ __ ] >> And then I reset it. I said it again. Oh my god.
>> Just say we're the best. Okay.
[laughter] >> And uh yeah, man. Just let me know.
[snorts] >> All right, buddy. Take care.
>> All right, buddy. Take care. Dude, didn't close them. No [ __ ] Sherlock.
Right. All right, let's look at a couple more. [clears throat] >> Yeah.
>> All right.
>> Oh, god. It's a girl. I've never I don't think I've ever closed a single girl in my entire life. For whatever reason, usually women will hop on in general, have a bunch of questions, and then pretty much always have to think about it. And that's just like, again, that's why I sell to contractors. It's a very male-dominated uh niche. Pros and cons of everything, right? Um women in general have to like take their time, but women are extremely hard to close over the phone on a one call close.
That's just what I've noticed.
>> Yeah, I'll um I meet with him tomorrow, so I'll go over the video with him again and then just talk about pricing, but I'm I'm not sure what he wants. I know the website is important and of course the back end of that website but Google is important too because even if we have a website if they don't see us when they search >> for sure >> then it's it's not going to make sense.
So >> yeah, so we help with that as well, but it's like you have to really like real ads though. It's still a different thing. Like running ads.
>> I look like I have a [ __ ] I look like I have a come stand on my hat as well.
Dude, what's going on, man?
>> Different things, >> right? But I mean, not even the ads. You can't run ads until you're seen. And we're not seeing right now.
>> I don't know what that means by seeing like you >> like if I if I'm in Georgia and I look up Elites Lawn Care, I don't >> Oh, I see. I see. I see.
>> Like anywhere. So that's that's the trouble that I'm having right now. So all right. Okay. Well, let me look over and then if there's any other questions I have, I'll get back to you.
>> Okay. Sounds good, J. Have a good one.
>> Thank you, >> Colassic. I'll get back to you. Right.
Again, none of these guys get back to you. If you don't close them on call one, the odds of closing them go way down. Again, I have to talk to my wife.
I have to, you know, think about it.
I'll get back to you. Can you send me an email? These are all objections that I get all the time and I got multiple times a day because I did this [ __ ] 12, 14 hours a day. And again, I know I sound like a broken broken record, but I want to show you guys the behind the scenes of like, dude, this was daily.
This was every day for a year I was doing these calls, right? Every single day. Um, all right. Let me actually I'm going to play this whole video through just so you guys can see one full context. And I'll put it on um I'll put on 1.3 speed >> and the night before and it's been one of those >> one of those days.
>> Rush out. I'm sorry. I didn't have time to to look. I I did >> I can't tell you how many calls went exactly like this every single day.
>> See the first one though?
>> The uh the six minute one.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Cool. Awesome. So, you already know exactly what we do. That's perfect.
And pricing that's that's all the same stuff. Um, what questions you have, man?
Specifically, >> um, you said 297 a month, right?
>> And what do you work off of to be able to provide the leads or how do you work?
>> Another common question. When am I going to get leads, right? That's a hard thing to answer for a $297 website Google review system, right? That's a hard question to answer.
>> So, the lead the leads the leads will come through Google on your website, >> but we also don't guarantee leads. I mean, they they come, but I have no idea how much you're going to get. It's a system in.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Got it. Um, but what do you do with my website?
>> Well, we build it make it functional and build it the way it needs to be built and then leads come through there. But how many leads you're going to get, man?
I have no idea. I can tell you're going to get more leads and and you're make more money than $297 a month with all the systems. So, >> do you do you do SEO? Any SEO or >> Yep, just on the just on the website?
Yeah. So, the website's SEO, but we don't do off- page SEO. So, yeah, we do do SEO on the website.
>> All right. Um, what about my uh GMBB?
Google my business. Yeah, we'll optimize that for you and that's where you get all the Google reviews as well.
>> Okay.
>> Yep.
>> Uh, what other things did you do to do I have to stop using my web master that I've been using?
>> Uh, not until we actually build out your website. I would switch it over after.
So, you're not paying for two things. We spent a lot of money to have good hosting and secure hosting. So, >> okay. When you said you build my you going to build a website?
>> Yeah.
>> Again, this guy isn't even sure that we build websites, right? Like this guy doesn't know what we do. Didn't watch the video. Like, this is so many calls.
So many calls go like this. It's insane.
>> A brand new one with What are you going to use for uh pictures?
>> Uh if you send us pictures, we'll use yours or or we'll just use AI, whatever you want.
>> Uh no, no. I I want my work on whatever website.
>> So just get access to all your photos and just tell tell us where you want them and there we go.
>> Um the way that my website is set up, I mean, you can probably get everything off of there, right?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. What about um uh is there a a tool that you can put on there to remind us weekly on the jobs we do? Whether it's >> By the way, sorry to interrupt one more time. This was one of the worst times in our company. I was on the calendar 14 hours a day. Mike was in Bali like like our CSM team was going to [ __ ] Uh we our churn was an all-time high. We just hired one more salesperson. He wasn't performing. Our ad stopped working. Uh our churn was just through the roof. So churn was through the roof. Our ad stopped working. our sales guy wasn't performing. Like this was one of the worst times in our entire like company history right now. Just to give you guys some backstory. Um there's been so many ups and downs and es and flows. And again, the whole point of this video is to show you the behind the scenes of like running almost a half a million dollar a month company, right? And again, that's revenue, not profit. I [ __ ] wish they were the same thing, but they're not.
>> Roofing, deck, sighting, or anything else.
>> A job to remind you.
>> In other words, the website is fed from, you know, every Wednesday a lead. I mean a a job that we finished >> other than the putting it into a um no >> the picture file.
>> No, no, you'd have to send us the pictures if you want if you want them update on the site.
>> Okay.
>> Yep.
>> All right.
All right. Where uh where are you located at?
>> I'm in Texas.
>> Texas. Okay.
>> The where are you located at question is just so they they they feel like better if you're in the US. So if they ever ask you that and you happen to be traveling, tell them you're somewhere in the United States. So, um, yeah, again, I didn't have an opportunity to look at the website and see what you did and how you operate other than, okay, $297 a month and build a new website. What's your goal with uh, VLR Homes?
>> What's my goal with what >> with with us? With VLR Homes >> to give you exactly I literally [snorts] didn't even know the name of this company. That's so bad in the video, man. To set you up with systems I know you're never going to figure out yourself. No offense.
>> Yeah. No, I mean, that's why we contact professionals in that aspect.
one of you. You need a job that we do. I don't >> exactly I don't know how to build [ __ ] That's why that's why I call you.
>> Yeah. Okay.
All right. Um, let me So, how long will it take you to build a >> Let me I already know he's going to say, "Let me think about it." I haven't even seen this yet, but I know he says that.
Guaranteed >> website.
>> About seven days.
>> Seven days.
>> Yeah.
>> And um what about uh after those seven days that how long does it take to go live? Seven days.
>> Seven days.
>> Okay. Do you use AI or what do you use?
>> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> I tell you what, let's schedule another meeting and let me have time to uh see what you sent me yesterday.
>> Oh, damn. Let me have time to see what you sent me yesterday. I thought I thought I was going to get the let me let me get some Let me have some time to think about it. That's the most common one. I swear to God.
>> Well, I can get myself, you know, because >> Oh, that's the same video you I I promise, man, you have all the information. If you don't have if you don't have any information, I can answer questions for you. But um that video you watched is actually the one I was talking about the six-inute one. So you already watched the video.
>> Yeah.
>> Yep. Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> Yep.
>> All right. Let give give me a couple of days and I'll I'll be back to you. I've got your number and I know you hear this.
>> He ain't coming back.
>> Uh let me get back with you and uh >> Yeah, I don't want to do that. Yeah.
Yeah.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's all good, man. No worries. Um >> bro, I can like hear the depression in my voice. I was so damn bad here, dude.
So, I mean, and honestly, in all these sales calls, like the reason I act this way is like I was just so down bad. And again, that's not an excuse to be a dick like I was in the first one, but like just to give you some context of what was going on, dude. It's It's not pretty.
>> Yeah, just uh I can book you in for something on Saturday, actually. Let's see. What What time is it for you guys right now?
>> Uh >> cool. So, I obviously booked him in. He obviously didn't show up for that, and I obviously failed to close the client. Um as with all these uh all these videos.
So, again, if you guys want to see more videos like this, I have a whole course below. It's free. Um check it out. And I hope this [ __ ] helps. Again, like guys, I face all these objections all the time. The shits.
