[00:08:57]Good evening everyone and welcome back to the show. Alongside me is Michael Christopher as always. For years, we've all heard the same question. When is blockchain actually going to be used by Wall Street? Right. Well, yesterday we got our answer because the DTC, the organization at the heart of US Secretary of Securities settlement system, successfully processed live production trades use tokenized securities. This wasn't another lab experiment or proof of concept. It was real production activity using tokenized versions of stocks, ETFs, treasuries, and collateral workflows. How crazy is it to see it actually happening? We've been talking about it and talking about it for weeks. It seems like forever, [applause] right?

[00:09:45]>> Yeah. And you know, when it comes then all of a sudden it's like But guys, this is early. This is going to take some time. You know, we're really not going to see it fully rolled out, you know, until it's towards the end of the year, beginning of 27.

[00:09:59]>> I was just talking to Michael this morning about how it seems like things are now happening and the market is still down. You haven't the Canton network which is such an important by the way Canton is another great coin the CC is a call letters for that you have Canton being used right now physically it's in the it's in the works and yet Canton went down from like 19 cents to 13 cents I don't understand it why is that happening why isn't Canton flourishing right now when it's being used by the DTCC what do you see over there >> oh Eric just asked for Christians I am a Christian and he was asking because of prophecy >> so uh yeah I I I love some of those pro prophetic voices that we've been hearing about.

[00:11:46]When you have religion in your life, you're usually a better person and you're thinking clear.

[00:11:55]Trying to keep it real." You know what I mean? It's it's it's a real thing. I mean, it doesn't matter in life. I believe if you're believing God, you're going to do better in life and you're gonna have a better life ahead of you.

[00:12:05]>> There you go. Look at We went right from crypto right to religion.

[00:12:09]>> Boom. And right back into crypto.

[00:12:11]>> Um, that changed the conversation for years. The blockchain is about possibilities. Yesterday, it be yesterday it became operational. The DTCC demonstrated that tokenized assets can move through institutional infrastructure while maintaining the same legal ownership rights in an investor protection as traditional securities.

[00:12:34]Think about this. The DTC safeguards more than 114 trillion in securities and processed 4.7 quadrillion in transactions last year. I just saw Pink Pearl said, "Uh, can we please have it go up because I'm going broke."

[00:12:50]>> You're not. The good news is you're not going broke and you're not losing anything because you haven't sold.

[00:12:56]What's happening is your heart might be chattering a little bit.

[00:12:59]>> Well, they might not be making the money they used to make, too. That's going on in this economy.

[00:13:03]>> It is. It is definitely on the downside without question. You got to hold on to that. You know, if you're on that roller coaster, you need to strap in. And you need to make sure that the bar is tight because it's going to take off and with a fury. But if you don't have the bar in >> from your lips >> to God's ears.

[00:13:20]>> Amen. Hallelujah.

[00:13:20]>> Jesus is yours.

[00:13:22]>> What up glitches? All these events switches are puzzling together. The perfect storm. All congregate as one.

[00:13:30]Never make a good crisis go to waste.

[00:13:33]Absolutely, buddy. Lee White says most people locked up are religious. So yeah, I'm not sure about it.

[00:13:43]You know, listen, you have some facts there. Some people who are locked up aren't good people. And just because someone says they're religious doesn't make them allowed to do whatever they want.

[00:13:51]>> You know, sometimes say, "I found God."

[00:13:53]And then they like do horrible things.

[00:13:55]And and how about in jail and someone goes and let's say the Islam religion in jail, by the way, allows you to convert that quickly when you've done something bad. And that's the one place that I I get a little bit awkward about. You know what I mean? Like if you take religion and you use for good and you get become a better person. Amen and hallelujah.

[00:14:12]But it shouldn't be that easy to just convert to religion in my opinion. What do you think about that?

[00:14:17]>> Well, sidebar, >> you want a sidebar? Well, I I told you about the two guys that uh the two criminals that were on the crosses next to Jesus. One said, "Don't forget me when you got into my kingdom." And Jesus, what did he say? He said, "You will be with me in paradise today." So that was a man that actually turned to Jesus the day of his death. So it's never too late.

[00:14:58]When an organization of that size embraces tokenization, the world pays attention. And let's just talk about that for a second. Andrew was just asking why do all the cryptos follow and and move along with Bitcoin?

[00:15:10]Great question. Bitcoin's the granddaddy.

[00:15:12]>> Granddaddy grand. So >> you know until we get a disconnect from that, that's the reason why you're seeing it.

[00:16:16]>> I was gonna say, do you trust uh do you suggest a trust for crypto?" I think ultimately yes. Do we do anything with a trust right now? No. Not the not at the moment, but we are uh would say to you Wyoming is a good place to start with uh protecting your Yeah. LLC's. Absolutely.

[00:16:40]Do you know most people don't even know what the DTCC is? Before I got into crypto, I had no idea what the DTC was.

[00:16:48]DTCC. I invest in stocks and bonds and everything else, but I never knew by the DTCC. I didn't understand how much money it does between every transaction back and forth that it handles.

[00:17:00]>> I would never have known about this. And most people, probably 95% of people who invest have no idea about that. I would bet dollars to donuts on that one.

[00:17:09]>> Yeah.

[00:17:09]>> But as people are starting to >> We should do We should do a podcast.

[00:17:25]The average person on the street, forget about it. But the person who's investing, would they know the DTCC is?
