Successful car boot sale reselling requires strategic item selection, timing purchases when sellers are motivated, and understanding market values to achieve profitable resale. Key strategies include buying items for under £1 when possible, recognizing rare or collectible items (like vintage gaming consoles or sports equipment), and bundling items to increase value. The video demonstrates how a reseller navigates challenging conditions (rainy weather) to find valuable items like a cricket bat and vintage gaming console, ultimately making a profit by understanding both the item's condition and its potential resale value.

CAR BOOT SALE - It took YEARS to find one of these!Ajouté :
Fire Coast Flips.
>> Good morning. Today we are here at St. Michael's and Billsboro.
This is my first beach sale here of the year. It reopened yesterday.
I did plan on coming yesterday, but I've been feeling a bit under the weather and I decided to leave it, which was the bad worst decision I could have made because look at the weather today. It's pouring it down. I mean, it's on, but I think most of these people here slept overnight last night here rather than it being like new sellers. So, debatably, possibly their best stuff might be gone. Might have gone yesterday. I don't know. Do people selling like this keep some of their stuff back for Sunday?
Because Sunday is usually the day that's better for footfall, right? Do people do that? Let me know if you sell somewhere like this where you camp over. Do you keep stuff for the Sunday and the bank holiday Monday if it's a bank holiday?
Let me know. Be interested to know. But yeah, me and Clay were talking actually.
I think we're going to maybe come here ourselves.
and camp over. We just got to get the van sorted. The van it's working and that, but it just it needs a little bit of attention, should we say, and then we'll come down and maybe do just do a night here. Bring the kids, get our tent out, do a night, and uh do you know what we need though?
We need one of those big battery packs that you see all these caravan people having, you know, these big massive power packs. That's what we need.
If anybody out there wants to sponsor us and provide one, that'd be cool.
So, yeah, let's think about later on the season when this boot sale is going to be packed right to the edge over there.
Right back here.
back here. Last year we got really far back it there was one day couple of days actually where it was massive this poop sail.
Yeah, this is not how I wanted to start the season here with a day like today.
But hey, you never know. As I said, I mean, you can't. There's nobody walking around. There's like no buyers here.
So maybe when the rain does stop, which is supposed to in the next kind of hour or so, it's supposed to stop. And at that point, maybe some good stuff will come out.
Maybe there'll be a big bundle of Port Marion and Lac Cruset like there was last year.
That was that was a good big sale that got a massive bag of Port Marion. Loads of Lusay.
And I got a a Nintendo Was it a 2DS? I think XL was it? I don't know. I can't remember now. It was a video game console with games and stuff for cheap.
So, as you can see, there are a few people now coming out braving the weather. If I was them, I'd probably be sat inside in the warmth of a brew. So, I don't blame them.
See if there's any regulars here. Have a chat.
Then I'll be heading back to the car in a little bit.
It's bloody cold as well.
Yeah. As you can see, the vast majority of people here, like practically everyone here has camped overnight. So, quite a lot of people do. Guessing people come from far and wide to camp here. You got an actual dedicated like campsite over there as well. Here and over there. But you got plenty of people here that's set up for the night.
And yeah, there's plenty of facilities here. Got a toilet block. Don't know if they've got a shower block or not. You got a toilet block here. You got another toilet block kind of down that way.
And yeah, if you're thinking of coming here and camping, don't let today put you off with this weather. I'm sure tomorrow will be much better here. I was just speaking to a guy a minute ago and he was like, "Oh, yesterday was really good." I was like, "I don't know. I bet it was. I should have come yesterday and left today, but there you go. Poor decision sometimes. That's just the way it goes.
So, at this point, I'm thinking, shall I first off, what do you think about me just walking around showing you guys what it's like on a on a quiet day. I thought it's kind of interesting. You know what I mean?
Usually, boot sales are hustling, bustling kind of places packed full of people. This is part of the reason why I want to stay over here. I think it'd make a a cool video. It just be a good experience um to to stay over here.
Also, it make a good video. I think just showing what it's like after hours once all the buyers have gone.
Is it is it like a good kind of atmosphere here? Do people join together, have a drink and that? I don't know. Like to think they do to some extent.
or do people get themselves to themselves? Probably a bit of both.
Yeah, the rain has almost stopped. It's very light now, so we might start getting people unpacking their stuff.
The time is 25 6. Thought somebody even had a paddling pool out last night.
Yeah, hang on. We got somebody setting up down here. All four buyers at the whole boot sale are congregating around that one seller. So, let's go have a look. And sorry if I sound a bit croaky today.
But got a bad cough.
Excuse me.
Yeah. So, people starting to unpack now.
It has started to started to stop raining. Got those guys over there bringing a lot of stuff out, but I've not seen a single thing that interests me yet. But I will come back in a minute. Let's see. Well, everyone's Well, every buyer in the area is there.
Let's see if anything's going on elsewhere. shall we?
So, it's a little bit later. I'm continuing to walk around. Only like three people have actually set up. I'm wondering whether I should just take it as a loss. And I don't think head home.
I'm I'll try Windike as long as it's on.
That opens at 8.
So, I will stay here until like half 7, I think, which is another 50 minutes.
see if anything's happening. See if people are actually unpacking. See if the rain goes. And if not, I'm going to try Windife for the time it opens. It's only a small one there.
And technically, they've not actually put anything on Facebook to say yes, we are definitely open, which they usually would. So, might be a bit early yet, though.
But hopefully hopefully they are.
And there was one last year around this time last year, one small sale there. And I came away with some really, really good stuff.
So it can happen. It can.
I'll >> take that, please. Thank you.
I bought this because I got a few from Smith's Toys recently. Didn't see any Amy's there though. I feel like Amy is going to be a rarer character. Don't know that for sure. But the ones I bought surprised me. Some of them, a couple of them were worth, you know, decent money compared to what I paid for it. This was only 3 quid. Can't go too far wrong.
We have bought something. Hey, I'm not buying just for the sake of buying either. I would have bought that wherever it was for 30 quid. The ones I got from Smith's Toys, I paid them more than that. Bought them.
So, does anybody out there know anything about cricket bats? Now, I have done quite well with some cricket bats in the past. It's been a while though. I actually bought a bundle of cricket stuff from here a few years back and it surprised me how well it all did. I had, you know, various different things, not just bats, but the bats did well. Now, he's got one down here. It's a gun and mo. It's a Maxi 606 and he only wants a tenner for it. It's in good condition, not great condition.
Few little nicks out of it here and there. Is that worth it for a tenner?
You know, I don't want to be buying stuff just for the sake of buying just because it's quiet.
But 10 quid doesn't seem bad for for the quality of it. It just looks like a good one. And I've been right in the past.
So, what do you reckon? Somebody else is literally looking at it now. It's the That's the seller. He's having a good look at it. Should I buy it for a tenner?
>> I think it's going to be worth a go.
>> Let's do it.
>> You t 15 20.
>> It's 160 quid bat.
>> I know, but it's got a bit of bit of wear in it.
>> Use that.
>> Yeah. You said a 10 a minute ago, didn't you?
>> Yeah. When I realized how much it was >> Well, it's up to you. 10's as much as I'd go to. So, say it just >> tid will be here soon. It came a lot more.
You respect it as excuse me.
>> Yeah, as you saw then some people just really don't want to sell the stuff.
They just don't.
and also why it's important to make a decision in the moment sometimes rather than walking away and coming back which is what I did.
I walked away and then it was a five and more. It's not good. I wouldn't do that.
Do you know what I mean? If you set a price to somebody, you stick to it, don't you? It's the boot sale way. You can't just start hiking up the price.
It's It's not on if you ask me. But people can do what they want, can't they? I guess the skin off my nose. I ain't bothered.
So, there are a couple of people still arriving to sell. Like a guy who's about to drive past me in a minute with massive van full of bikes and stuff.
It's a bit later. I've got maybe like 15 minutes before I need to be heading off to the other boot sale if that's what I'm doing.
And Yeah, even though the rain has stopped now for at least 10 minutes, people are just not bothering getting out and setting up.
So, hey, again, I don't blame them. I don't Maybe they've thought to themselves, you know what? Ain't nobody coming in this weather. Let's leave it and set up tomorrow, Monday.
That would certainly go through my mind if I was here.
I've seen a couple of people with stuff.
Some guy walked past me a minute ago. He had a big box full of CDs.
I actually said to him, I said, "I'm glad that somebody's found something today in a nice way, you know." Um, I am I'm glad that somebody can still find some good stuff when it's like this.
I still believe.
Keep going. keep going.
But it's just the same kind of what about seven sellers never set up and most of them are fully set up and there's just nothing worthwhile for me.
Some guy down here has a load of Picard Star Trek spaceships and there are a couple of them that seem to do quite well but there's a hell of a lot of them listed.
So, it just although there's a profit to be had, I think it would take forever.
So, I'm going to leave it. See what else he's got, though.
But for now, that's it. Catch you guys in a second when I'm arriving at the next boot sale. Hopefully hopefully it's on for a start cuz they've not updated the Facebook page and that it's a half decent turnout.
I went back for it. I paid 12 quid.
Let's look it up together now cuz I'm not massively familiar cricket. It's in good condition. Let's have a look because these can vary massively. These it might be worth 20 quid or it might be worth 100 if I'm lucky. It's been slow here, but the rain has now stopped and people are now starting to set up.
There's a lot of people who are still asleep though, I think. But I've just had a look on my phone and Wind Dike, the only other one in the area that's open, well, well, that was supposed to be open, has come out last minute and said they're closed today.
So, yeah, this is the only place I say that there's other places I could potentially go to. You got Fleetwood indoor boot sale. I might pay it a visit, but I don't think I will. I think I'm going to just keep keep on here for another hour.
I was going to leave now and go wind dikeke, but obviously with that being closed, that's a no-go. So, I'm going to stay for another hour, maybe do a few laps. I'm Let's have a look. How much is this bat going to be worth?
I've only ever had cricket bats a couple of times, like ever. And the last time I had one was, I reckon at least two years ago, maybe 3 years ago.
And I had like a small bundle of cricket bats.
And I'm sorry about my voice.
I do feel pretty ropey. Got a pretty particularly bad chest.
Right. What do I search? Because you search it and there's just a million different ones come up. Let's have a look.
Gun and more. Notting gun. I mean, I could image search it, but I don't.
They're so similar looking. a lot of them. Cricket Bat Maxi 606. Is there anything else? What's that? GM now.
I think that is means it's a newer one.
I had a quick look before. GM now.
See the weight and the length is a factor. Is these three stars a factor?
Is that like the quality of the wood maybe? Or is that just their logo?
as you can tell. I I I don't know. I'm not that familiar with them.
That one looks similar.
Maxi Select though, I'm guessing that's better.
Maxi Select.
It's very similar. Like the grip is very similar and everything. It does have some wear obviously, but it's in good condition. I've sold them before in much worse condition than this is. And the grip's pretty good as well.
But I think we've done pretty good. For 12 quid, the condition it's in, you know, it's got a few nicks and stuff. I think a lot of this will just clean off.
It's pretty good. We'll have that. 12 quid. And then off camera, I did get this for only two quid. Yeah. Not the best.
Some people selling it for only 15 quid new. Mine's not near, is it? Some people have after a lot more than that.
Like a lot more. Somebody has it up there for 50 of times five for 50. 10 each. Okay. Not so good on that. Good job. It was only two quid. Right. We're not done yet. Let's go back in and see if we can find a few more things.
It's like suddenly the boot sail is alive.
Come on.
Let's find a few decent bits, shall we?
We've already got the bat. Let's see if we can find some more stuff.
This is a good one here. If it's working, three quid.
I'll take it, please.
>> I'll take it, please.
>> You know what it is?
>> Yeah. It's like >> situation, is it?
>> Yeah.
>> Thank you.
>> Yeah. It just needs a bolt, doesn't it?
It's easy enough to get.
>> Grab one. Thank you. Cheers.
>> That's not a bad little find that. Last time I had one of these, it was missing this front piece and it still sold for about I think it's I don't know 15ish.
And they actually left a feedback saying that they had managed to get something to work with it. So that's good. As long as it works. Never have one that's not worked.
>> Yeah.
>> More. Okay.
>> What kind of money you got on your Tupperware?
>> Uh it depends like five down apart from obviously store. That's a bit more.
>> Yeah. We just bits and the top comes off. So you've got a bit of storage top as well.
>> Good oldfashioned Tupperware.
>> Yeah.
>> How much is this one then? The >> How much is your stool, Andrew?
>> 20.
>> 20.
>> What about these two here?
>> Uh they're far good quid each.
And your your bread bin here. Uh >> bread bin that's on here.
>> Just the bread.
>> Yeah.
>> 14.
>> 14 just one.
>> Yeah. It's a bit of a shame there. There all that Tupperware. They're just after a little bit too much. It's not a bad price especially if you're buying like for yourself. But if to buy it to then resell, I'm not it's just not worth it. It's not for how much they're asking. But they did have that Judge vintage stool which is very cool looking. It's 20 quid though. I can't imagine I'll be to find one, but what do you know? I have never seen them before. They're very vintage, cool looking though. 60s7s 20 quid though. And somebody's selling two there for 40. So >> try >> good to see them.
See if anybody's actually selling. Are they fast seller?
>> Yeah. Look. 23 quid. Set of four for 52.
You would think they'd go for a lot more than that. Just kind of like she just unveiled it all in front of me. I I didn't catch it on camera, but it was like what? was like insert kind of angel choir or if you me um but no and the bread bin 14 quid for the big one I know I could probably buy 14 quid and make a little profit but no not doing it.
Yeah, some guy before had some Harrods bears for a second. I was like, "Oh, yes." But and because it said on the table next to him, it said everything on here reduced.
So, I was like, "Right, okay. 25 quid a bear."
25 quid a bear.
They weren't particularly nice looking ones either. Like, sometimes they're really cool looking and really good condition. And then you think, "Oh, maybe 25." Yeah, I guess that's all right. you know, if you're buying for yourself.
But these ones weren't that.
But again, people can ask what they want, can't they?
So, I'm still buying goodness gang when I find them for cheap enough. Let's hope it's less than a quid, otherwise have to leave them behind. Excuse me. You right.
How much is your cauliflower?
50p.
>> Cheers. Thank you.
So, yeah. cauliflower to add to the little set. How many have I got now? I think I've got four. Have I got four or have I got five? I think I've got four.
50p under quid. That's the rule. Under a pound unless it's a rare one like or maybe with its tag, but even then I don't really want to be paying more than a quid.
How much your toys in there, mate?
>> Mate, McDonald's.
>> If I pick a few out, could we do bit of a deal? Like >> see what you think. I'll pick them out and see what see what you say. No worries. Either way.
That's a long biting on the way.
>> See what it is.
>> There we go.
>> Just the movement. Extra quits for movement.
>> Instead of just having them in the box.
>> What do you reckon then on these ones?
>> These ones that 14 25 >> 25 15 quid >> that's more or less 50p each not far off >> yeah I'll do 10 as much as I do 15 Not to turn it around.
>> About 12, mate.
>> Yeah. Go on, mate. Yeah.
>> Yeah. That might be the most I've paid for McDonald's toys before, but he was, you know, he he he knew that I knew what I was talking about, and therefore, I was picking out the ones that were good.
I've left him the ones that are not very good, and he'd probably find it hard to shift, but at the same time, the condition is grim. You know what I mean?
You're not going to get top money when it when they're in that kind of condition.
But hey, whatever. I I I've done all right there. There's a few in there um I want to keep for me. So that's why I decided to pay a little bit more. But there's a few that I'll bundle up and we'll make a decent enough profit. Here we go. So this is the Transformer toys that say uh I don't know if it's a full set or what. That's six of them. 2150.
You know that's quite low. I think people can get a lot more than that.
I've sold them for more than that before.
There we go. Four of them there. £2722 recently. Very recently and in the UK.
There you go. That gives you little example. And I've got a few of them. I don't think I've got the burger one, but I've got a few. And I got a few other ones as well. I think they've just recently released some in America, haven't they? Some like new versions of these as well. So that will peique the interest of these a little bit more.
Look, somebody there. Just three of them for 20 quid. £2150.
I've got that one. I've got that one at home already. That one. I think I've got the I've got the Mario that's on like a little spring, haven't I? That's like this. I think that's from the same thing. Got two of them. So that is it.
Not a great deal today, but I've got a few bits. Let's take a look at it all. So the star buy of today is going to be the cricket bat. Even if it's you know it's only a 40 quid one or if it's a hopefully fingers crossed like a 100 quid one.
Either way yeah it's going to be the best item we bought today. Um got Sonic toy Lilo and Stitch. Got cauliflower to add to the goodness gang bundle that I am doing.
This for my kids.
This tracer should be okay as long as it's working.
Looks pretty good. Nick, these always do okay for me when I find them. It's more often than not this brand. There's a couple of others out there though, but it's more often than not the autograph brand.
That's good. And then other than that, we just have these McDonald Soys.
I end this part of the video here, but this is not going to be the end. I will catch up with you guys tomorrow, bank holiday Monday, where I'm going to be out there again finding some stuff in just a moment. See you then.
Good morning all. Today I'm here at my local Morcross. It's a bank holiday Monday. Now the last time I was here on a bank holiday Monday, I did really well because it had rained on the Sunday.
Well, that's happened again. It was off yesterday due to the rain. So I figured I'd try and repeat that today by coming down and seeing what we can find to resell. Like the big one in my area, St. Michaels and Billsboro is on today. I went yesterday and it was raining a little bit and it wasn't very good. But this one hopefully will be repeat of last time would be nice. Let's go find some stuff to resell a profit. Let's go.
>> All right, it's May the 4th today as well. May the 4th. It looks pretty busy.
Think we're going to have a good one.
>> Right. So, we are in. We are definitely going to get onto this third field today.
Definitely.
But for now, I'm going to start here in this second field. Let's see what we can find.
>> Don't forget, look at me restless.
>> Oh, what?
>> Restless.
>> You are restless.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Got YouTube friend of mine, Rick, here today just in front of me up there.
I'm full of a cold, by the way, at the moment. Hence me sounding even deeper than usual.
Sorry in advance. I'll try and keep the chatter to a minimum.
Or maybe some of you out there like the Barry Whiteesque voice is where it's happening down here. I think right, don't get me wrong, but so far it has been like 80% trades.
I'm not one of those people who, you know, moans about that because I've got a lot of good stuff from trades people here before. Not every trader is after like a huge amount of money for everything they've got. But but but but it is 80% trade here so far. I mean, it's early. We'll see. We'll see.
You know, ordinarily it's going to be the people in the second half of this field and the people in the third field are going to be the more kind of regular sellers. And there's always plenty of them.
It's just I see it online all the time.
People bashing like boot sales and traders and it's I don't think it's on like every boot sale. Believe me, last year, if you didn't know, plug, shameless plug, I went round to 20 of the best boot sales in the country. And every single one, every single one has a certain amount of traders. Some more than others, but everyone has a good amount regulars. But it's the regulars who pay, you know, keep the boot sales on, isn't it? The regulars come in that pay every single week without fail, keep things going. That's the way I look at it.
Got a whole collection of runtos here.
>> Come on in.
>> How much on your runoffs here?
>> Yeah.
You never see so many in one place usually, do you? Just just like one or something. That's quite an interesting looking one.
>> Yeah.
That one.
Yeah, obviously 15 quid for runoff is ridiculous. Although he did have a couple of rarer ones there. We'll give him that. He also had a couple that were cracked.
But you know me, I love a runtop. Just not one of 15 quid each. You know me.
>> Yeah. I struggle to get 20 quid these days for like the average one on eBay and then you got to take fees off to buy price everything else.
Right. I think we might be into third field. So, let's go check it out.
>> I've just talked to a couple of other resellers and nobody's really bought anything yet.
Missing a little knob.
>> Uh, three quid.
>> How much on that place?
>> I do.
>> How much on this one?
>> Quid.
quite organized.
>> Morning. How much are you Game of Thrones there? Um, board games. Uh, the new ones. I think >> the new ones. How much you want to play?
Where's your other? We've got figures as well.
>> All right. Okay.
>> Like quite a bit of stuff. you might be interested in.
>> Yeah.
>> Brianna T.
>> Darling.
>> Um 10.
>> Yeah. I love this show.
>> Hey, >> I love this show.
>> Yeah. Tell me about Right. Give me that.
I'll set I want to set that up. You can set up the door.
>> I'll take that set, please.
>> All right, darling.
>> What you got on the the figures?
>> These five. Thank you. Thank you. Tenner and the board game.
>> Uh, five reach, mate.
>> Would you maybe do it a bit less if I put it all? Um, >> she's got a nice figure in in her mind what she would like to put all of it.
>> Got no idea yet. Well, all of it.
>> Yeah. You say five each, didn't you?
Five each for the games. Yeah.
>> And the figures.
>> Which ones? Just the big ones.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. The big ones are five, mate. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> These are all collectors.
>> That's your domain.
>> Never open. Yeah.
>> How much on that as well?
>> That would say 15.
>> 15 quid. Yeah. Oh, I've been looking for one of these for a little while and everything else with that.
>> It's got quite a few good games on it.
You know, when you just find yourself, you like >> Yeah.
>> Never get round to >> I'll definitely do that for 15.
>> That's great.
>> What? So, I I I'd take everything if you want to. All the Game of Thrones stuff.
>> Yeah. If the price is right, you know, >> got to get that price, aren't we? What What would you have to be happy with?
Um, what was you after on the little one?
What was you after on the little ones?
Like individually?
>> Well, those ones I went three quid.
These are two.
>> Yeah, >> cuz these are slightly larger models.
>> So, 26.
>> It's 50 quid.
>> What? For the whole thing?
>> Yeah.
>> No, I'm not putting that low.
>> No. Plus, I mean that on the top. Um, >> 50.
>> No, not for all of it.
>> What would you be happy with?
>> I mean, you're talking if I do them all at two quid.
>> Yeah, you're talking 10.
>> Oh, it's 30 quid for the figures.
And then that's 50 there. Do you want them too?
>> Yeah, I think so.
>> These and the carrings. Do you want them as well or >> um Yeah. I take 70 for lot.
>> It's all brand new. It's never been open.
>> Yeah.
>> About 60 and then 15 on this. So 75 all in with with this >> all in. You got a deal.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Yeah, that sounds good. Thank you very much.
>> Right.
>> 80. Yeah.
>> 14.
>> Fantastic. 60 80 to bate.
>> Um uh yes, please. Thank you.
>> 20 40 50 80.
That's all you loaded.
>> Excellent. Have a good one. Thank you.
Bye. Are you all right?
>> One thing.
>> Oh, at least you got some Oh, is that a honey monster?
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, cool.
>> Bad guys. sought after. That's all I can say about >> we've got um these two very likable characters though >> and >> um >> boxed as well.
>> Do you know what I what I was thinking is I got it all. I paid 80.
>> Yeah.
>> But that included this, >> right?
>> I've been after one of these myself for ages. I think these these were going for >> 60 70 last time I looked. I think pre-owned and there's an extra controller.
>> So, I've almost got it back with that for me. If I keep I might >> I might have to sell it. I I don't know the thing. Well, I've got a Raspberry Pi and I've got all these games on it plus a million more. So, like I don't really need it. But I just I said if I ever see one out there, >> I'd probably keep it.
>> But now I've got it in my hands. I'm like, well, if it is worth still worth like 78 quid, 60 70 something like that.
>> Nice. Then I've got to sell it probably, aren't I?
>> It's like almost pace everything else.
Almost.
>> You'll do well on a few of them. They'll be a slower lot.
>> Yeah, I probably just lock the whole lot up. Or or as you say, if the bad guys do better, maybe do a bad guy and a good guy lot. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Yeah. There's other stuff as well, like mugs and bits of this, bits of that.
>> That really weren't it?
>> Well, she said it.
>> Well, I said, "Is it working and what is it?" And she said it was a light. So, she came down on the price. Oh, does it?
Right.
>> Let me have a look.
>> Yeah.
>> So, she weren't sure.
>> Hold on.
>> About changing the batteries or whatever. So, >> light and you can put water in the steam comes out of its mouth.
>> Oh, that's that's >> I sell them at 15 quid, >> right?
>> Shops or >> Yeah.
>> It's a triple up for you if you paid a f for it and you get 15.
>> I paid three then.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> But now you told me that it it breathes um steam out. I want to keep it now.
Well, we've got a little Mario kind of collection of >> plush and toys and stuff at the moment.
The kids have been collecting them. So, >> if they see this and they know it does that, they they will absolutely not let me sell it.
>> Better go on camp.
>> Yes. Good luck, mate.
It >> How much is that?
>> Couple of quid.
>> Yeah. I don't you know if it's if it's working at all.
>> Is that it for >> them? Two in this one. Yeah. Oh no.
We've got some more pots up down here.
>> Thank you.
>> Thank you.
>> Cheers.
>> There. How much you got on your doll's house there?
>> What?
>> Your doll's house. a doll's house for £3 and some um >> stuff there. Two pound for that, £5 for a whole lot.
>> Okay. If I have a little look at it.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> It's just lovely TLC.
>> Yeah, I can see that. But quite unusual, isn't it?
>> Yeah, it's unusual. It's been handade by somebody.
>> Yeah.
>> Even got carpet.
I'm just assessing whether I've got the uh >> the know how to do anything with it really.
>> It's very retro, isn't it?
>> Yeah.
In fact, I know somebody who might be interested. So, if I see him, >> I'll point him in your direction.
Cheers. Thank you.
You're into like your doll stuff and that you >> just down here on the right there's a lady and she's got a doll's house. Now it it's it's quite worth a wear but it's very unusual looking >> and I thought she only wants three quid.
>> Oh, where is she?
>> And um just a few cars I think it's the it's either it's either the woman with the tent box or it might be the next one.
So guys, I think we have the ultimate Game of Thrones bundle going on right here. I think I got a decent deal in the end. I didn't get it like cheap cheap, but I do think I got a decent price. Mainly because as well as all the Game of Thrones stuff, I got this with an extra controller as well from the same seller.
So 80 quid for this and for everything else.
And yeah, that is good. I've always wanted one of these. When they came out, I missed out. I know everybody bought them all up, didn't they? And to be honest, it's a Super Nintendo one, but I want wanted more. That was my era really. But this one as well, I was like, if I ever see this, I will probably keep it for my collection. But to be honest, I've got a Raspberry Pi and it plays everything that this has and a hell of a lot more.
So, I don't really need it. But I probably will plug it in in my game room for a little bit at least before I then proceed to sell it. And, you know, it is pre-owned.
It looks good. We got the instructions.
It's still got it's like it's foam around it and everything.
You can see there Dixons's retail. So, it's a legit one. That's one of the things I was looking for. I saw that and I was like cuz I You see these fairly often and they look genuine but they're like a knockoff one, but this is obviously it's got the Nintendo branding everywhere and it's been purchased from a actual proper retail shop at some point. So, that I think pays for everything else. So, we're going to have a proper look at this stuff later on because I can't really go through it all properly here and I'm not sure how much everything is worth. They've got a couple of couple of brand new sealed games. Got an open one which we will definitely be playing before I sell it on. May keep that one. We'll see if it's any good, but uh we'll leave it for a little bit later on. I'll go through everything properly. Prices are kind of varied.
It's kind of 85 for like a, you know, better almost new condition one and as low as like maybe 55ish.
But a lot of these are bids and you know, I don't do bids. You're never going to get as much doing bids on this stuff. Yeah. It's at least 60 quid.
Probably 65 to 70 with having the extra controller. So that is good. As long as it's all in there and working. I mean, there's no reason why it wouldn't be.
Yeah, that's good. So, that is going to almost pay for everything else. That's a good deal. That it is. Yeah. Just at the end off camera, I got some next place mats. These are very nice. Nice quality wood placemats for 4 quid.
I got this for 2 quid. I don't know if these still go for anything, but we'll soon see I guess on them. I got this for two quid. It's a little like kind of vintage, I think. um Sony MP3 player like this whole this I don't think they still use this logo do they remember I used to have Walkmans with this like some of the later Walkmans tape Walkmans used to have this logo so I think there is a few years in this I don't know if it works or not we'll have to see right so I'm going to head back in just for one quick go around again yeah just then off camera. I got a couple of things. Got these books here.
These Mr. Men books. Not that one or that one, but they chuck them in for free. But these ones usually do quite well. Or they have done in the past.
As you can see, like they're not just like the regular books. They're kind of got something more going on with them.
And then I got this little Hello Kitty projector for three quid. I'm not sure about that, but we'll see. And then this two quid. This is a brand that I've had before. I actually had a like a pet like a Tamagotchi style pet of one of these that sold really well a couple of years back. These are just walkie-talkies, but two quid.
We got a load of dinosaurs secondhand at um from this lady and I think she now 50 quid for all 50 quid a pop on her.
>> Yeah, it's crazy.
I don't display anything over there.
>> I'll do him for two quid. That's all right.
>> Yeah, >> I would have done him, but he's missing an arm.
>> Oh, yeah. Well, it's somewhere, but I can't tell. Yeah, >> I forgot to tell that. I forgot to tell you that cuz I've just put him out.
>> Yeah. I mean, he still looks cooler, doesn't he? I don't know.
>> I didn't do you wanted I was trying to find the arm. The arm somewhere to me got that. You just like him. He loved it. I was like, you've got that for you, not the choice.
>> Thank you. Can >> you do three?
>> Three quid.
>> So, I'm back to the car now. Got a few things. Then I got this off camera a minute ago. Four quid and few other bits and pieces. I'll show you guys properly when we get back. Yeah, I got this for us for Halloween. Like a resin one. I think it's from TK Maxx. That's a TK Maxx price tag. Isn't it? It was only 15 quid to begin with. I got it for three, but just like that. It's kind of cool. And uh few other bits and pieces. We'll have a look at it all in just a few minutes.
So, back in the shed now, and I'm going to start with the stuff that I bought on the first day of boot sales, the Sunday, the rainy Sunday. We got all of this stuff here. Not a great deal, but considering how rainy and few people were actually selling, I'm surprised I came away with anything to be honest.
So, we'll start with these guys here.
So, I paid 15 quid. You can see them all now quite clearly what I've got. £15 is paying up. Obviously, I would have liked to have paid less. More often than not, you will end up paying less for these at boot sales. But hey, I paid what I paid.
And I'm happy enough with that because for instance, these guys, these three, if I was to sell them together, I think I could get at least 15 quid just for them. Three. Although, I kind of want to keep this one. I might keep that one and sell them as a pair. But these are popular. These changeables, they're from the Well, that one's from 1990. I think this one was 1988 is it or 89 88.
And then some of the others like the chicken nugget ones.
I had one of these when I was a kid.
Just one. Just one. And it had this but it had nothing else. And I I always I thought it's potato. Um but yeah, I didn't get it from McDonald's myself. I don't think I don't know how I ended up with it. But yeah, these guys, if you got like a full set and if they're like if they're new, then you can get loads.
But, you know, there's a full set open, um, you can still get quite a lot. I've not got a full set here, as you can see.
And then these Mario toys from 1989.
I've actually got this Luigi already up there, so I don't need another one. I've got the Mario as well from the same set that's upstairs in the spare room in the game room. So, I think with these I'll probably keep a GMA. Somebody's recently sold eight one of these for eight quid.
I'll probably keep a gumba and put those two together. Sell them together. And yeah, so these I think are from the same thing. I'll sell them together. I'll sell these together. I think he's from them as well. And I'll sell them together. These two are from Burger King. This one unfortunately is broken as you can see, but it's like a little magnifying glass. I'm not sure if there'll be much money in this or not, but it's vintage Turtles memorabilia.
I'm sure somebody will want it. And this little kind of uh what was the kids club called at Burger King? Was it literally just kids club? I'm not sure. But, um, I've actually got some more of this Burger King stuff, which was Claire's from when she was younger. And I I can't remember where I've put it, but I've got a good kind of wad of like uh like comic books, I think, or something like magazines and other paperwork from the restaurant from like the early 90s. So, I'll dig that out wherever I've put it. And I'll maybe sell this and this with with that.
Yeah, I'll probably do that. And then lastly, we got these little figures. I don't know too much about these. Maybe somebody in the comments can let me know if there's any particular one that is worth good money. Here we got this Tracer, this Artigraph branded Tracer projector.
I've had this a few times before. I've not tested it yet. Um, this here is only worth like up to a tenner. I paid three. Uh, this here surprised me. I thought this would be worth more money, but it's a newer thing and it's from the more recent film. And I'm guessing the merch from that film didn't do too well cuz there's a hell of a lot of these out there and they're not selling for a lot.
Um, good job. I only paid two quid. The star of yesterday is obviously this cricket bat.
So, I've looked into this a little bit and the only ones I could find that were this same brand and Maxi 606. I couldn't find many of these Maxi 606. Somebody had one of these up, same model and everything. Same grip color, uh, same stickers and everything. They had it up for something like I think it's 120.
So, if it's worth anything like that, then we've obviously done well. 12 quid into even anywhere close to 100. That will be good. But we'll have to see on that.
Obviously, there's a lot of different models out there that all look very similar. I'm going to move this stuff off of here.
And let's have a look at the stuff I bought from the boot sale today. Let's put this cauliflower guy with his mates, shall we?
There we go. So, I've got green pea, strawberry, and a banana. It's not a banana, it's a pineapple corn, mic. Um, and a cauliflower. Now, there we go. So, here is everything I purchased today at the boot sale. Here at the back, I actually got these from Aldi just after the boot sale. N to Aldi, got a couple of things. And they were selling these off. They're usually 15 quid. They were selling them for a tenner a pack. and I scanned them in and some people managed to get like 35 quid a pack on these.
Now, I don't think I'll be able to get quite that much. I think that's one of those things that maybe that was like the peak at some point for whatever reason. They were very sought after.
They would go with that 35 quid, but I would imagine the price will come right back down. There's probably loads of them out there right now. I don't know.
We'll see. We'll see. I'll probably aim fairly high. Um, and see we can make a maybe a tenner profit each. That'll do.
I will have paid for my shopping. Uh, these two here, I see people buying these all the time, but I've never really bought them before. I mean, I think I might have had the odd Godzilla in the past. I don't think I've ever had a King Kong, though. Uh, but these are not really worth much money. I'm sure there are certain ones out there that are worth good money, but it's not these. Um, I only pay two quid for that and only a quid for that because it's missing an arm. And he's only worth about a tenner and he's only worth about a tenner and probably less with no arm.
So, um, I'll probably stick them both up together and go for like 15 quid or something. I mean, three quid into 15 is not terrible. I think they will sell for that price. So, um, yeah. I don't know.
Let me know. Is there are there certain brands of these out there that are good?
Let me know in the comments if you could. I need to do a bit more research into these and learn which ones are good out there. So, if I see them, I can pick them up from the same seller. I got this for a pound. Had this many, many times in the past. It's just like a Is it a voice amplifying or distorting uh microphone? WWF or WWE? Uh these three here might not have been worthwhile. I mean, I got that free because he has no legs. I don't know why. I just said, um is if I take it, maybe I can do something with it, glue them back on, but there's not actually any legs in there, so I can't glue them back on. Um this one is good, I think.
But this one is also also has a broken bit. Look there. So, I mean, I only paid three quid. It's probably worth three quid just for this one, right? May well keep them. I don't think there'll be much money in selling any of them. Um, I'll glue it back on on that and we'll keep that one. Might sell that one. I don't know. We'll see what I'm going to do with this guy with no legs. Who knows? Uh, this I've not looked into yet. And I'll put it on screen now. If there's much money in it, I really don't know. I only paid two quid for it.
We'll get to the Game of Thrones stuff last, I think, because we got a mixed bag here with what we've bought and I'll go into it in just a moment. For now, let's skip past that and go over here.
Uh, this was, I think, my first pickup of the day and maybe something I shouldn't have bothered with really.
Four quid. Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
It's kind of nice. Nice vintage. I've had stuff like this before that's sold many, many times before.
But yeah, I don't know. I can't find it.
I had a quick image search of it a minute ago and none were coming up. But yeah, we'll see. We'll see. Somebody out there. I'll probably put like prop and set dressing or something in my title on this one. And maybe a TV studio or something will come along and buy it for their like period drama or something.
Although I I guess it's not that old, but you know what I mean. Uh Coca-Cola ice bucket. I used to buy these and not just Coca-Cola, but some of the other ones this kind of style. And they used to always do quite well for me, like 15 to 20. But I've just had a quick look and it's more like 10 to 12 now on this.
I paid 4 quid. So yeah, it's in good condition though. And the insert inside is still there and everything. But yeah, they've definitely gone down quite a bit in price. So, if you've got some of the old vintage ones or some of the metal ones, some of them can do. Okay.
Nintendo Switch grip for two quid. We got Bowser here. I'm trying to figure out how you get into this guy to change the batteries, but I can't figure it out. I'm going to have to watch a YouTube video or something on on how to get in. We've got these Mr. Men books. I don't tend not to bother with these most of the time. I've used to back in the early days of reselling, but I still pick up these ones. And then my favorite pickup of the day has to be this. Right.
I've been looking for one of these for ages now. To be honest, it's the Super Nintendo one. If if I found one of them, I would definitely definitely keep it for my collection. I'm still considering keeping this as well.
But I think I will probably sell it. I might keep it for a little while. give it a go, display it a little bit, but it is ultimately going to be resold because it's worth, you know, good money, like 70, maybe 80 a push with the extra controller. Um, and how good a condition it is. Still got all this stuff inside, I think. So, based on that, yeah, I probably have to sell it. And that almost almost once that's sold, I mean after fees and everything, it almost then covers the money on everything else. Um the Game of Thrones stuff which I purchased off the same person and the Game of Thrones stuff is a mixed bag and I thought it would be and it is. So there's a couple of things that have surprised me a little bit on price and a couple of things that have surprised me the other way and not worth as much as I thought. So, yeah, it's a good job. I did get the price down a little bit, but we I still think I think we're going to make some good money. Now, here at the back, we got these two figures, and I scanned this one in the barcode. I scanned the barcode in with the eBay app, and a couple of people sold this one for like 50 quid, and I was like, "All right, happy days." But then if you actually type it in, type his name in box and put box and that he's only worth about 10 to 12 quid by the looks of it.
Slightly disappointing.
And the same goes for this one, which I thought would be worth a bit more just cuz she's a very popular actress and character, but no, no, worth about the same, I reckon. 10 to 12 quid. So that's slightly disappointing if you've got some of the other characters, some of the bad guys, like if you've got the Night King, this guy, but in this figure, he's worth about 40 quid from what I could see. But these two, yeah, not great. But that's okay because we've got a few other things here that that are worth some half decent money. Uh, this Risk is the best of the board games. We got four board games. Um, that Cludo though is like Fiverr. I'm like, really? I'll probably keep that. I'm not selling it for a Fiverr. I I'll keep that and play it. Do you get like metal pieces in this? No, it's all plastic.
I bet it's still cool though. We really like Risk. In fact, we were playing Risk last night. Well, we were playing like a version of Risk that my son had like made up. He likes to like take board game pieces and like make his own games with them. And then these two were kind of like 15ish and 10ish, something like that.
So, not a great deal, but but not bad.
And then check this wallet out. This is very cool looking.
Really like this. I already have a pretty cool wallet. Otherwise, I may not have this.
It's really nice quality. I've got some mugs. I think they're only worth about five to seven quid each. Not too bad.
That's all right. Got some key rings and stuff. Some coasters. I've not looked any of them up.
Uh some books. I couldn't find this out there, but I wonder if maybe this came with a DVD box set or something. That's might be why I can't find it. Might be a little bit in that. There's not a lot in that one. And there's not a lot in that one either. But the Game of Scones.
Yeah, that's only worth a couple of quid. I'll probably bundle the books up together or something. Maybe with a couple of key rings. Do a little bundle or something with the coasters and that.
And then we have all of these little figurines. Um, from what I could see after a quick look, I think it's the mountain that seems to go for the most money in these little figures. So, I mean, the rest of them, I don't know.
I've not had an extensive look into them. We do have a load of magazines. I don't know if the magazines all pair up correctly with the figures, if you know what I mean. I don't know if there's enough magazines for the amount of figures or anything like that. So, I'll have to look into that. But regardless, uh, we should we should do Okay.
Somebody had like a bundle of quite a few 30 maybe something like that and got like 60 odd quid. So what's that? A couple of quid each. I think that was without the magazines.
So I think you can make more than that selling them in little bundles. Maybe do all the goodies and the baddies separately with the magazines. We'll see. Or you could go down the the single figure with magazine route as well. Um, a few people are doing that out there and asking for like five or six quid a piece. I don't think I'll do that. I think that's very long tail. I think you'd be selling them forever doing that. I'd much sooner do a couple of bundles, maybe two or three bundles, and sell them like that. And we've also got a set of really good quality Next Place mats there, which Cla I showed them to Cla said, "Do we want to keep these?"
and she'll she'll have a look when she gets back from work. She said I think she'll like them and she'll want to keep them, but they were four quid. Um I think the lady who I bought them off said, what did she say? She said that they're still selling them in next for around 35 quid, she said. So yeah, that's pretty good if that's the case. So there we have it. What do you think? Have I done all right there with that Game of Thrones bundle?
I think if maybe this wasn't included amongst it, I wouldn't it wouldn't be half as good. Do you know what I mean?
The fact that this almost covers the price of the rest of it is obviously like very good. And the fact that this is something I've hoped I'd find out there at some point, but I didn't think I would to be honest. The like gold dust, I don't think I've ever seen one out there at a boot sale. But the Super Nintendo Classic is the one I want. So, if I ever find that I will keep it. But as it stands, it's destined to be sold, but not yet.
We'll keep it for a little bit. That's it for now. Thank you very much for watching. If you enjoyed this video, then please hit the like button and subscribe to the channel if you could.
