[00:00:02]So students, this video is about quick revision of basic computer skills, that is BCS.

[00:00:09]So this video will be useful for semester two students as of now. So semester one, if you have written EBS means in sem two, you will have to written BCS. So in this video, whatever the doubts I have seen in the comment section, so I will rectify all the doubts in this video. So don't skip the video and watch till the end, then only you will clear your doubts. And again, again, again, please don't comment down in the comment section whatever I have discussed in the video. So okay? So please watch the video fully, ma. So coming back to the syllabus point of view, total two units you will have.

[00:00:45]Okay? So it is a 40 marks question paper. Time duration is 1 and 1/2 hour.

[00:00:51]You need to attempt two long questions, two short questions. So basically, time management plays a key role in SEC paper because you will not have enough time to write long as well as short. So in this video, how you should manage your time, everything I will discuss.

[00:01:09]And question paper pattern, as you all know, I'm discussing again and again. If someone have already, some people have commented. So in part A, four questions you will get, ma. Two questions you need to attempt. Each question carries five marks. First question, second question will come from unit number one. Third question, fourth question will come from unit number two. If you won't attempt part A, means prepare any one unit of short questions, okay? And from part B, two questions you need to attempt, ma.

[00:01:36]In each question you will have internal choice. First question will come from unit number one. Second question will come from unit number two. So from unit number one, two questions you will get.

[00:01:46]From unit number two, two questions you will get. First we will discuss the short. So here in the short, VDU is important. What is computer is important. Desktop, what is mean by desktop? Types of OS. OS is nothing but operating system. What are the different types of operating system you are having? This four is important and you can write it what is meant by data and what are the information. Information means whatever the required thing we are cutting that is called information. And from unit number two students, URL is important. Searching engine is important. IP address is important.

[00:02:24]Domain name is important. So this four is important. Email already you will learn it for the long, so no need to learn separate for the short.

[00:02:33]Spreadsheet also you can learn it for long, no need to learn for short. LAN and WAN also you will learn it long long, so no need to learn it short.

[00:02:42]Okay? In BCS examination, diagrammatic representation is very much important. You need to draw the diagrams. What are the diagrams you need to draw? Computer diagram you need to draw. So from first unit, three questions I will give you, ma. First question is components of a computer.

[00:03:00]Components or block diagram of a computer, one and the same. Components and now block diagram of computer and now okay. Second question is what is input and output device of a computer?

[00:03:12]And the third question is what is computer and explain the characteristic features of computer. So these three questions is enough for tomorrow's BACs examination. Again and again, please don't comment me in the comment section.

[00:03:27]And then from first unit, whatever the question it might be, you can draw the diagram of computer. Here I am showing certain computer diagrammatic easy diagrammatic pictures of computer where you can easily draw in your examination.

[00:03:43]Compulsory diagrammatic representation, okay? So it will give good impression to your paper evaluator. So try to draw the computer diagram. Try to draw keyboard.

[00:03:54]So, related to the matter if you have drawn means it will give a immense good impression to your paper. So, this is the first tip where you can easily follow this tip in your examination to score O grade in this subject, okay? So, like this type of computer. You after defining computer, what are the what is meant by computer? A computer is a electronic device where it will do all the calculation or it will stores the data in general. Mostly, if you are a B.Com student in sem one you have already learned FIT. Same questions you will have.

[00:04:28]Okay? And from unit number two, students, first important question is email and process of sending and receiving an email. Second question is preparation and presentation of slides.

[00:04:40]And the third important question is what is a spreadsheet and what are the basic elements of spreadsheet. So, these three or else you can write it MS PowerPoint window also. So, this is the three important questions where you need to present it, okay? So, here you can write it thing about what is email, electronic mail it is. So, how you will send a email? So, general in general how we will send email? We will write that type of thing only you can write it, okay?

[00:05:07]So, here also you can draw email email box we will have, no ma? In our phone also you will have Gmail. What is the Gmail of you will have one rectangle shape in that you will have message box.

[00:05:18]So, that type of that type of things you need to draw in the examination, okay? So, this is the tips whichever I have explained you and each and every question you need to attempt whether you know the question or don't know the question. Attempting the question paper is must and should, okay?

[00:05:36]And for 15 marks, front back front back four sides you need to write it, ma. If you are not getting answer means try to draw the pictures because diagrams takes more place in the booklet, so matter you can write it small only. So, that's why try to draw the flow charts. If computer you draw computer in middle and after that give a flowchart for that whatever the features you are having. For example, characteristic features of computer means speed, accuracy, and you will have versatility, and you will have a accuracy, and you will have health issues, you will have cost implementation. These are all the features of computer, right? So, you need to write each and every point in depth. Minimum front and back three sides or else four sides for 15 marks.

[00:06:22]For For 15 marks front and back four sides or two pages is must and should.

[00:06:28]And for five marks minimum you need to write front one and a half page or means one side of the page and a half side of the another page, okay? So, if you are time management is important, try to write it handwriting is also important, and diagrammatic representation is also important. So, these are the tips which again I would say to you all to score O grade in this subject. For 40 marks paper, passing marks is only 15 marks 1 5. So, you can easily attempt. If you are attempting too long and too short, you can easily pass in this subject, okay, students? So, this is all about the video.
