[00:00:06]Spondylosis is a wear and tear of the spine, basically a spinal osteoarthritis.

[00:00:12]Discs thin, joints stiffen, bone spurs form. It's common with age, usually causes stiffness and dull achy pain.

[00:00:20]Spondylolysis is a stress fracture in the pars interarticularis, the small bony bridge at the back of the vertebrae. It's often seen in young athletes who repeatedly extend their backs like gymnastics and weightlifting.

[00:00:37]Spondylolisthesis when one vertebrae slips forward over the one below it. Can result from a spondylolysis fracture or from a degeneration in older adults. It may cause nerve symptoms, you know, shooting leg pain, tingling or weakness.
