XRP Just Took Over 26% Of A $7 BILLION Market!

[00:00:01]All right, guys, welcome back here to the channel. We're going to talk about RWA tokenization and XRP and I've actually been listening to a lot of podcasts recently. Tokenization has been a major topic of discussion, including the likes of like Jordi Visser, who I listen to quite a bit. Really, really interesting in terms of what's going on.

Drop your comments down below because XRP has right now about 26% of a $7 billion global tokenized commodity sector. And there are some other big players. We're going to break down the entire pie chart for you, why this is so relevant right now in terms of where we're heading in the cryptocurrency market as well. So, let's get right into it. It says here, and this is multiple reports out today, XRP now accounts for more than 26% of the total global tokenized commodities market. It is the second largest network in the sector. And we'll highlight what number one is and some of the other, you know, big players in here as well.

[00:01:18]But, XRP Ledger's recent dominance growth comes on the back of an additional $895 million to their JMWH product. This is from Just Token.

[00:01:31]And it's hosted right on the XRP network. And it pushed their share of tokenized commodity sector from 15% dominance to 26% dominance, just this deal alone.

[00:01:45]And XRP now, with that 26%, uh we're looking at a overall market over 7 billion. But, in 2025, it was far less than this. About 2 billion in tokenized commodities sits on the XRPL right now.

[00:02:01]It's the second largest only behind Ethereum.

[00:02:04]And if we look at the kind of breakdown right now, we've got Ethereum making up about 4.9 billion, call it 5 billion.

[00:02:13]XRP 2 billion.

[00:02:15]Then you've got BNB chain about 45 million.

[00:02:20]Arbitrum 93 million million and Polygon's actually number three behind Ethereum and XRP. 619 million there on Polygon.

[00:02:30]And so of this total um you know, we look at XRP's recent growth. And a lot of it's coming from this new product from Just Token, which is a tokenized energy product. And it's solely done on the XRP ledger.

[00:02:48]And this is one of the largest, you know, projects that are solely done on the XRP ledger to come in multiple years.

[00:02:54]Which represents lots of real-world electricity. This is all coming on chain. So, the value of this deal again about a $900 million increase in a single day. This happened last month. Which brings XRP up to 26% of the overall market share.

[00:03:22]If you are interested in kind of learning more about the tokenized space, this website does a phenomenal job. I I go to this website all the time just to kind of track the numbers.

[00:03:32]And it's basically an analytics platform.

[00:03:35]So they are constantly updating it too. So, as new deals get done, they're constantly, you know, moving uh moving things around and and giving you guys updated information. So, what's crazy is the market itself the tokenized commodities market it was worth right around a total of a billion dollars in early 2025.

[00:03:58]So, it was very, very early in the RWA phase, you know, uh early 2025.

[00:04:05]It grew to 4.2 billion by the end of 2025.

[00:04:10]And now, this year alone, which, I mean, here we are, we're only in May, we've added another 3.5 billion.

[00:04:18]So, this is a great indicator that tells us tokenization is happening now at a rapid rate. Uh it's only 5 months in here to 2026, and you know, we're sitting here at a total now of 7.7 billion. A lot of the experts think we'll be at around, you know, 12 to 14 billion by the end of the year. And so, if XRP can continue to gain market share in this area, obviously, this is going to be extremely important. Ethereum, a big part of this is well. And uh you guys know that I don't solely invest in one thing or the other. I've got exposure to Ethereum and XRP, which makes me feel good because these are your leading market share participants. I mean, together, they essentially own about 90% of the overall market. So, if you want to get exposure to the tokenization, you know, when it comes to commodities, XRP and Ethereum are it right now.

[00:05:12]They're the two clear-cut uh leaders uh in in those areas. Of course, I like some other plays, too, you know, Ondo Finance is had a nice little surge here over the last couple weeks. I know price action there has not been great, but it hasn't been great anywhere, really.

[00:05:26]Uh I also like the new kid on the block, Canton Network. That's another interesting player. There's some also like some small-cap pieces like Plume that I find interesting. I've got a little exposure there, as well. But, uh all in all, man, this is a big deal for XRP again and their ecosystem.
