This Story Made Me Rethink Everything

[00:00:00]I was reading a story from ProPublica that this kind of left me a little little shaken.

[00:00:08]The the headline on this story from Proh ProPublica, babies are bleeding to death as droves of antivaxers shun simple shot.

[00:00:22]And this story talks about all of these babies that are, you know, some immediately never even leave the hospital. Others go in for their two week or six week appointment and never come out because they're bleeding.

[00:00:38]They're bleeding from their eyes.

[00:00:39]They're bleeding from their belly buttons. They're bleeding into their cranium.

[00:00:47]And the reason is because at a higher and higher rate, these antivax parents are refusing the vitamin K shot that is given to newborns because they don't want any of that chemicals in their baby's body. We know better. We're maha and you're not going to inject my baby with whatever's in them shots, which again is vitamin K.

[00:01:24]And it is essential for newborns so that their blood can clot.

[00:01:33]So instead of getting to take home this newborn baby that you've been carrying for more than 9 months in your body, you're making funeral arrangements.

[00:01:46]All the plans, all the hopes, all the dreams you had for that kid gone because you listened to a bunch of lunatics who I'll give it to them. They speak authoritatively on the issue.

[00:02:02]Oh, they absolutely sound like they know what they're saying. They use all the big scary words that you can't define, but obviously they know what they are.

[00:02:12]So, you're going to listen to them instead of people that actually went to medical school, people who actually know what they're talking about. And because of that, you're putting a newborn baby in the ground instead of in a bassinet because of a simple, inexpensive vitamin K shot that you could have and should have given to that baby.

[00:03:02]You still going to listen to any of these other antivaxers, these influencers who seem to know what they're talking about, so you blindly trust them? do your own research, which is nothing more than confirmation bias because you're searching keywords that will only return results that you're looking for.

[00:03:33]And I encourage everybody to read it. Again, let me give you the headline here. And I found it on Raw Story because ProPublica stuff you can, you know, share widely. Uh, babies are bleeding to death as droves of antivaxers shun simple shot.

[00:03:50]I I really genuinely hope everybody goes and reads that. And if you know any expectant parents, especially those who may be antivax, please send that to them.

[00:04:12]But um that that left me in a way that that doesn't feel good.

[00:04:23]So I I wanted to share that uh to start the stream because I think that is exceptionally important for everybody to know about. Um, and it's it's really it's it's nothing short of horrific.
