The Possessed PlanterAdded:
Killer B Nation back in the saddle. Yes, indeed. Whoa. What did we just sign off a half an hour ago >> in Douglas? Good lord. I'm Reed Booth, Killer Bee Guy. We're here in Douglas still, >> right? This is Sam. We got Sam over here who has a tail of wo as in singular because you only got stung once. He's one of the few. Most people get stung like 30, 40. No, I got stung once back of the arm and hurt a little bit and that was enough.
All these gentlemen here and yeah, he's got a unique little deal here, guys. It looks like a new conceal to us. I mean, that when you sent that picture where the duct tape is, >> there's all bees all over the place.
>> Yeah, they're out and about. So, that was uh in the afternoon, but early morning it's probably two or three times as as big.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> So, they're all hanging around in the morning. Hanging on the porch >> having coffee.
>> Yeah, >> they're not allowing me to hang on the porch anymore.
>> No. All righty.
>> That's not your porch anymore.
>> That's not your porch, brother.
>> Say good morning, hos.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Good morning, hos.
>> It's getting better. You get better at it.
>> Lot of coaching.
>> Yeah. Lot of coaching. It's all in the coaching. That's all it is. So, hydrating. Yes, we're hydrating you guys. We do all the time. It's not just a rumor. And I I'll be tasting this uh mosquite honey that they gave me.
>> Oh yeah. And now a word from our sponsor.
>> Yes. Excellent. We'll be We just had pancakes inside and we NEEDED MORE HONEY.
>> OH, see I live in Bisby. So it came to me. Oh wait, Sam needs some honey.
>> And I already warned him, you guys, about killer bee honey that it's good for a stinger.
>> That was funny. Damn it.
>> He's excited about it.
>> Yes.
>> But we do have a 2-year uh 100 uh 100% honey back gu. Okay, never mind. I know you want >> honey bee back there.
>> Honey honey bee honey back there.
So it's been a hell of a month. We've been going every day 10 12 hours a day doing these damn bees all over the place. I think I told you about the BLM we had to rescue Fairbanks and then uh you know San Bernardino uh wildlife air we had to rescue game and fish we had to rescue. I don't know I it's a blur when we're driving around. I'll look at a horse and go I remember last Wednesday.
It's a big joke cuz neither of us do.
It's like, "No, I'm [ __ ] kidding me.
It could be Thursday morning and I don't remember last Wednesday." So, >> anyway, all right, buddy. It's a pleasure to meet you. You >> be safe. I'll be uh inside watching you guys.
>> Oh, yeah. I will do it safe and all.
Yeah.
>> The ones in there excited to see you guys work. So, we'll be seeing.
>> Oh, right on. Well, YouTube and you know, we'll try to keep the language down.
>> We're trying emphasis.
>> I'd be using foul language if I was getting stung sometimes.
>> Improves my vocabulary. So, >> all right. So, it's pretty obvious over there, huh?
>> You're getting ready.
>> Isn't that great? A great little place you got here, right? Absolutely beautiful.
>> Thank you.
>> Absolutely beautiful.
>> A lot on throughout the years. And I like to be out here to enjoy it, but you can't.
>> No, it's not your yard.
>> It's not your yard, man. So, we're going to give it back to you.
>> All right. Got it. Cool. Well, you go in. We'll chase you in before they do.
>> We got to get that dog around the corner. Get that dog in. I'll put her inside right now.
>> So, they're right around the corner.
>> Yeah. You'll see.
>> Oh, I come here, Mabel. Come here, mama.
Hey, come here. Let's go. Let's go. Come on.
>> They're chasing bees. Better not be.
>> She's chasing lizards.
>> Lizards? Oh, she's a lizard chaser.
>> Hi, baby. What are you doing? Come here.
Say hi to everybody. Oh, what's your name? What's your name?
>> Mabel.
>> Mabel.
Hey, Mabel. Yes, we have honey, not Maple. Hi, Mabel. Oh, look at everybody.
This We're going to save Mabel's life.
>> That's it.
>> Yep. So, >> I'll put her inside. Come here, M.
>> Well, she has no energy. That's good.
All right. What are you thinking, >> Hos?
>> Well, get the gear and >> Huh?
>> Get the gear and >> get the gear. We'll >> do it, too.
>> I guess that's about it. Yeah. So, uh, we think it's a new conceal.
>> Hey, what are you drinking there, Reed?
>> Huh?
>> What are you drinking?
>> Nothing.
Water.
>> What? What are you drinking?
>> Water.
Waterloo.
>> Oh, maybe these guys want to pick us up.
>> Water. Oh, water. When you're when you need hydration doing killer bee removal.
This is from a future sponsor.
>> Show us the front label.
>> What is it? Front label. I got the front label.
>> The whole thing on the front label there.
>> Raspberry nectarine. That was another porn star name of mine.
>> Anyway, I don't think they're going to sponsor us now.
>> Going to be guys.
>> We do love this stuff actually. So, I mean staying hydrated guys. Yeah, staying hydrated. You know, uh, John A Costar, a good friend, taught us taught me this. You drink water today for tomorrow. You hydrate today for tomorrow. Remember that.
>> So, drink >> drink water.
>> Drink up, >> dumb asses.
>> Drink up. Drink your water.
>> All right, guys. Um, I guess we should get geared up.
>> Geared up.
>> I'm geared, Reed.
>> I'm I'm so geared.
>> I'm geared.
>> You know what? I'm going to take off my cooling vest cuz I'm not going to wear it. You know, there's a nice breeze out here, guys. So, I'm going to take off cuz this cooling vest is long melted from the roof of Douglas when we were out there a minute ago. And uh yeah, it's it's well melted. So, we'll throw that back in the cooler. And um it's a beautiful breeze. It's kind of a little bit overcast. It's beautiful day, so we're not going to get overheated. It is a concern. And we're going to gather our >> uh weapons. Wit. Wit. That's w our wit.
Yes, we need to gather our wit. Uh for those of you just joining us, I'm Reed Booth, killer bee guy. We're in Douglas, Arizona on the outskirts, the BBS. There are no BBS at Douglas. And uh right, Douglas is on the border with Old Mexico. Coochis County is the Wild West.
It's where Tombstone is. And Bisby, the queen of the copper camps. Bisby used to be the biggest city between St. Louis and San Francisco.
Now it just acts like it is.
Right.
>> Yeah. I don't know if we'll need probably foam on this.
>> I don't know. I think we should bring the cult gun. I think we should bring enough stuff so that uh you know we get it done. We don't know what to expect, guys. They might They're Africanized no matter what. According to the labs in Tucson, that's all we know. And we're I we're because they're in a block wall.
You've seen us do it before and new conceal guarantee it for 2 years. Uh, breaking up part of block wall is stupid because they got the little holes, you know, in in the block and bees will build all over cuz they're over they're staggered and the holes they're just I've seen 15 ft of wall full of comb a wall that's being torn down crazy. They just a labyrinth in there from hell literally. And so I think that um God >> What about defoam? you defoam uh uh uh maybe fireback of course spray adhesive and I think an expanding anacult gun and I think that might get us on the right track.
>> Yeah, >> finally after all those years.
>> Well, >> the right track.
>> You know, the wrong track can teach you some things.
>> The wrong track led me to the right track. Oh, there's a country song. There it is.
>> Oh, I was on the wrong track. L me to the right. You know, that is a really good name for a bar. The wrong track.
>> Yeah. Don't you think? I I'd just tell you. I'm just I don't know how I do it anyway. Or why most people would ask.
Stop it, you guys. So, we got more jobs lined up Monday. Oh my god. It's just kicking our asses. It really is. This these bees. Well, we get emergency calls we go. You know, we're saving people.
We're saving lives, saving animals, people, and tons of native pollinators.
And I want to thank Lton out in North Carolina. Man, thank you so much. send us a $500 Home Depot gift card. That's going to buy I tell you supplies to save native pollinators. That's all there is to it. That's where it goes. I don't have any habits anymore.
And so it all everything goes any you guys, you know, everything that I that we do is goes towards this goes towards saving native pollinators and getting rid of these damn invasive species.
Thank you so much, Lton. And of course, Jim Al, I know you're probably done with your marathon. 13.5 miles, whatever the hell it was. No, that ain't going to happen. I'll take the bees anyway.
Appreciate you. Jim sends us uh Oh, tools. He knows what we can use. It's hard. He really Well, he's he been he knows what he's talking about. When we're doing stuff and he sees a pry bar that we don't have that we can use, he'll send it. And also, he pitched in 500 bucks to get the truck fixed. So, hell yeah. Thank you, man. I appreciate it. And of course, Mel and Dan up in uh uh North Shore. Now, our queen members, your honeys are going to be going out this week, God willing, or the bees willing, actually. No, God ain't got much to do with it. The bees willing, we're the it's been so busy. So, we're going to get your honey. Also, Mel and Dan, did you get your honey from last month? Cuz the queen members get a jar of honey every month. Queen members on YouTube. So, let me know if you guys didn't. And if you didn't get your honey and you email me at [email protected] uh and unless I know exactly who you are, include your address cuz if I don't have your address, I can't send you none, right?
>> Oh yeah, there's a few of them, right?
>> Oh yeah, we have a few of them that I can't remember any of the names though.
But there's a few queen members that we don't have your address and so please email me your address, but only if you're queen member. If you aren't a queen member, I don't care where you live. Anyway, uh I guess let's go race out with them. Oh, >> let's do it.
>> Uh, what do we got? We got the doctor bag >> right there. Everything we need >> carrying. Look at him. Holy cow. Hi. Hi.
>> Okay. Beautiful out here, isn't it?
>> It's a really nice space.
>> It really is. He's done a great job.
>> Yeah.
>> So beautiful. My goodness.
>> Love it. My my.
All right. Well, let's go see how we can turn this back into Hey, we got some of the kids over here, guys. Look at this.
All right. Oh. Oh. Oh. What the hell's going on here? Huh?
>> Well, he taped it up.
>> Yes, he has. I don't know what's going on, but we're going to put a kibash on it either way. Looks like we have a little one down here, too. Huh?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't know what's going on with this business.
We have to expose the bees.
Expose the bees. Oh boy. Here we go. And this is where we get in trouble.
Holy cow. Well, they're in class 5.
>> Well, not yet.
>> Yeah.
>> Now, there's no animals here, guys.
Look at this. So, I'm not sure what all this is. You see that? Kind of curious about what that is.
>> This here?
>> Yeah. Well, he culked it.
>> Oh, that's old cult. And there's pollen on there, too.
>> Oh, it's like where they've landed. No.
See them pouring out of here?
>> Yeah.
>> This See them stinging the gloves. This is how dangerous this is. We really haven't done anything, but they Look at this. This whole thing is full of bees.
Look at them bouncing off. You cannot outrun these things. Now, there are no animals around and we're going to kill all these bees anyway, but I just want to show Look at how fast they're pouring out of there.
>> Yeah.
>> Look at that. I mean, >> smell the venom.
>> A lot of venom. I can smell it.
Absolutely. There's a drone on my on my finger on my ring finger.
>> Cute.
>> Big fat drone.
>> We love the drones.
>> Well, they can't sting. That's why we love them.
>> All right, so enough of this joy. We're going to put a kabash on. We just wanted to show everybody how in a What?
>> Oh, no. I I just wanted to get a closeup here.
>> Oh, you're doing a I thought he was doing a BSMR.
>> Wow.
>> So, yeah, this is not a DIY channel, you guys. So, we're going to really put a kibash on them now.
Uh, this is going to kill the hive, of course.
Uh, this could be hollow underneath this thing.
>> Said it is.
>> Okay. God, there could be 10 ft of comb in there, guys. I mean, all the way down. And it looks like maybe 3 ft high.
This This is just huge. So, we're going to put a kibash on it. Now, one thing this is going to do, what I'm spraying here is uh hold on. I'm going to use uh I don't know. I'm going to do more of this for Where did I pull that out of down here? Down here, I think it was.
Oh, that goes in. See how vicious they are? You can't outrun them, guys. These things are evil.
They've chased our truck for 10 miles.
Literally.
Not figuratively.
Whatever the hell that would mean.
>> It's It's one big fat metaphor.
>> It's one big fat one big fat one big fat metaphor. All of it.
>> That's a good name of a movie.
>> You get to decide what it means.
>> My big fat metaphor. You decide the plot.
>> You know, my big fat Greek wedding.
>> Yes.
>> My big fat metaphor.
>> There it is.
>> That's the Bisby version.
>> There it is.
>> So, their temperament should be changing here. I hope. I keep seeing them down here. I don't know what the hell's going on.
>> Damn, man. Me ain't.
>> I'm watching this corner.
>> Well, yeah. Oh, all that whole thing.
Yeah, >> man. These things are mean. Holy [ __ ] >> Damn, my friend. I'm so glad you're okay. Holy [ __ ] >> Oh, they're mean. It's a five.
>> Incredible.
>> It's not a six, but it's definitely a five.
>> No, this is a five. Yeah. I mean, for Hos and I, we this difference between a six and a five cuz six is the most aggressive. You know, why did I choose this career? I didn't. It chose me. Yes.
It was kind of a calling from the asylum. We want you back. Um, a six is really severe. That's You know what that is? That's when their weapons of ass destruction cuz they stinged hos in the Look that one up. It was It was really good as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway, Hos got stung in the butt and that's why the bees were weapons of ash destruction. What was the name of that?
Our fan that hit that was so much fun. I laughed my ass off.
>> Yeah, I don't remember who said that.
>> My god. Look at that. Oh, is that actually coming up?
>> Well, there's a whole lot of you know what you ought to do rolling up one.
>> Oh, I want to hear it. Oh yeah.
>> What ought we do, ho?
>> Something about I don't know. Gasoms.
>> Look at this down here. Look at this down here. Blah blah bl down here.
They're coming out of down there.
>> I had a suspicion.
>> Love the armchair quarterbacks there in Tik Tok.
>> Oh, armchair. Armchair. You need to move out of your mother's basement.
Yeah. Make some popcorn for me.
>> Yeah. Why don't you do it this way? Why don't you do it that way? Why don't you do it this way? Why don't you do it that way?
>> The other tombstone will say, "Hold my beer." Right.
>> Right.
>> So, quieting down a little already. Oh, cuz I'm such a genieosie. Uh-oh. This is about out. Let me see if I got any more.
This is really cool cuz I said so. Look at I'm already gathering up.
>> Why don't you do it this way? Why don't you do it that way?
>> Well, because this way.
>> Oh, I should. I should.
Do you smoke? No. Here. Okay. So, people want to know why do you use smoke?
>> Okay. Good question. All right. I'm going to sit down here and have a little class amongst the old killer bees while I get I reload my non-toxic spray adhesive. Well, smoke used to work just great with European bees. Yeah, no doubt about it. I used to use it. But comparing Africanized honey bees to European honey bees is like comparing a goat to a horse. They're both mammals.
That's about it. All right. What's good for a goat might not be good for a horse. And if you're a goat breeder and you come over to my horses, and I breed horses, and you try adamantly to tell me how to treat my horses, I'm going to kick you off my ranch, right? This is a different critter. These are not European honeybees. So, the stud studies have been done a lot by me just in, you know, in the field. And now this is my non-toxic spray adhesive. This I'm blowing this over my shoulder. So I'm going to knock down a bunch of these little faster stuff.
>> It's better luck than salt.
>> Better.
>> That was good actually.
>> Yes.
>> Better luck than salt.
>> Yes.
>> Um >> there it is. Look at it. Look at the good luck.
>> Look at the good luck. It's just flowing.
>> Yeah.
>> It's se it's sea salt. So it's luck. Um so this is just non-toxic. It just sticks their wings together.
When you see us cough and stuff, it's cuz they drip venom on us and we inhale the venom. It's already quieter.
>> See that?
>> Well, that's just no fun. Why' I do that?
>> Yeah.
>> Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh, smoke.
>> Smoke actually makes these bees more aggressive.
>> Yeah, it doesn't work. All right. People think honey bees. They have one blanket thought for the whole damn thing. And people think bees, they think honey bees. So, it really gets convoluted. Uh, Google native bees for your area. It's fascinating because honey bees is not on the list. Woo! Got your goat right there. Speaking of goats. So, Google that. Do it for me and tell me what native bees you have in your area cuz they're going to be different than here.
Native bees. There are no native stinging honey bees in the Americas.
Woo! There's a mindblower, right? I'm good at that. I'll blow your mind. Um, so we don't use smoke. Uh, power washer.
Oh, man. And I learned real early on that soapy water and drywall don't mix.
All right. So, and I got way way too many complaints about the mess. So, we don't do that. Doing it at night. It's actually a good question. Why wouldn't you think? All right. They the guard bees never sleep. That's one major thing. They never sleep. They're always on high alert. And as soon as that attack pheromone goes through the hive, it's like a fire department. They're all out to to these guys out to fight to try to kill you. and they attack light at night. We still need to see what we're doing. So people will say, "Why don't you use a red light?"
>> Then I can't see for crying out loud.
>> Is that a mocking bird? Is that a mocking bird? Jesus Christ. So anyway, I'll do it whenever I want. So we're way too busy, too. I mean, good grief. And no, none of these ranchers, none of these people want you lurking around after dark. You might get Leave it alone. Okay. We don't do it after. And also the rattlesnakes hunt at night.
Yeah, rattlesnake. Oh, that's right. We live in the Wild West. Yeah.
>> Well, the main the main reason we don't do it at night is because we like you should be we sleep at night.
>> We sleep at night.
>> As soon as your mom kicks you out of her basement, then you go home. We sleep.
>> So, uh, >> they want us to go 247.
>> Yeah. Well, who doesn't? I mean, we're adorable. I would, too. You know, I was watching me. I Why not? What's not to love? So, we don't use smoke. Hope we don't do it at night and we don't give a hint. Um, we don't relocate. Oh, I'm just coming up with [ __ ] off the top of my head.
>> We never relocate honey bee hives.
>> They're invasive. Let's just leave it at that.
>> Thank you.
>> Oh, but we need them. No, we don't. Oh, they're good for the environment. No, they're not an >> endangered. They're endangered. Honey bees are endangered.
>> Oh, they >> they're at risk really.
>> Oh my god. Okay. When people say save the bees, which ones? No, there's more honey bees on this planet than ever before. When you hear of the big die offs of honey bees about every 15 to 20 years in the Americas, you never hear of that in Europe. No, honeybees are native there. Here they're livestock.
Literally, they're classified as livestock by the USDA. And so they're not native. They're classified as livestock. So every so often you'll hear about the chicken farmers. Oh my god, they had to kill 80 million chickens.
You think those farmers give a [ __ ] They collect the insurance and raise more chickens. That's what the big boys do with honeybees. Leave it to them.
They know what they're doing. They raise their own queens. It's all in-house.
They got a thousand hives, 10,000 hives.
They take them around for pollination.
All right? They're farm animals. That's all they are. So, they're they're not endangered. Jesus god, there's way too many. What is endangered is native bees because of these bees. So, it would be like saying I always go back to the snakes in Florida because it works so well. So the pythons in Florida be like saying, "Okay, I love snakes. I'm all for snakes. We're all We love Save the snakes." So because pythons are snakes, I'm going to raise pythons because they're snakes and let them go in the the Everglades in Florida because there's snakes and there are snakes there. That's what this is compared to when raising honeybees backyard. You think you're doing good for the environment. You're not a native. They take over 98% of they become 98% of the bee biomass in their area which is a 3m radius. They decimate. They're not good.
A native native uh environment has never benefited from an invasive species. I mean that's just logic. You know, there's no emotion in this. I don't give a [ __ ] We do not uh like I always say, don't let facts get in the way of your emotions and your opinions. It's facitious. I'm being sarcastic. I'm a very cynical son of a [ __ ] Okay.
>> Now, what what about Reed? What about the ones that are regrouping over there?
>> Oh my god. What about those?
>> What about those regrouping?
>> Well, we're going to rehome them some.
Anyway, we're going to bring home to hell.
>> It's a really good question. So, we people when people see bees flying all over the place and we got comments that saying, "Oh my god, you let them all out so they can go somewhere else to live in another trailer park." That's not how it works. They are part of that body. They do not go somewhere else. That's why they came back here. If they didn't want to come back here and go live somewhere else, they were already be gone. Why would they come back here? So, these are called remnant bees and they're leftovers of this hive. Now, they are I always go back to the amputated limb uh analogy. Uh if your finger gets chopped off, you're going to be okay. Your finger won't no matter what the hell happens. Your finger can't start a new human. your finger can't uh go join another human. Same thing with these guys. They can't go join another hive.
They can't start a hive. They're screwed. I'll show you how screwed they are.
That's screwed. I'll tell you right now.
That's just That's all it takes is non-toxic spray adhesive. They're on the ground. Here we go. Hit the deck. All right. Bye. But all these bees lying around will come back here and land right there probably and die off over the coming days. So, that's a good thing. Uh they they won't go anywhere else. It's a really fascinating thing because in a threem radius all the beehives know about each other. Yes.
It's like an HOA from hell. And the only reason they do is in case they could steal honey from each other. They're all enemies. There's no there's no fraternity with these things. They're Vikings. Each tribe hates the other tribe and they'll steal honey from each other all day long cuz honey is a lot of work to make and they'd rather steal it.
So they can't even visit each other. Uh the only way the reason that a bee from this hive will go visit another hive which talks to me there's tons of hives in this area. There's tons of hives all over the place. Um is to steal honey and so the guard bees will kick her out or kill her. So >> tell you I think this is like the fastest deescalation I've ever seen >> this this year.
>> No, right now like what happened right now? The fastest like it was a five.
>> Well, I'm good.
>> And now it's a one.
>> I'm good. Well, I mean that's all right.
>> You're talking sit back and watch the master. Resistance is futile.
>> Great.
>> This aggression will not stand, man.
>> I'm quoting famous people now.
>> Yes. Anyway, >> our favorite prophet.
>> Yes. Yes.
>> The dude abides.
>> My favorite prophet is in my ass set.
>> Okay.
>> That was funny. Anyway, everybody get, you know, it's rare. We get to have a little, you know, sit down time with the fam.
>> Yeah. Why are you killing them? Why am I doing what?
>> Why are you killing them?
>> Well, am I killing? Cuz they don't like me. They complained about it. Well, we're killing them because they're deadly invasive species obviously that just joined. And if you did, I'm Reed Booth, Killer B guy.
Anyway, it's just watch a few of our vids, full vids on YouTube, shorts and reels, etc. >> YouTube >> on the rest of them. Uh 360s. You're going to love the 360s. Unless if you watch the 360s and you're kind of afraid of bees and [ __ ] think of it as therapy.
All right. It's really awesome, actually. Uh, so yeah, just watch a few of our vids. We answer all these questions over and over in a very masterful and entertaining way. I must admit, >> I'm shocked that nobody else is coming out of that hole >> cuz you haven't See, you didn't close the door yet.
>> I Oh, I put defoam.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Yeah, it's clogged with deo. That should be pretty well dissipated. Now, we're going to dump a bunch of uh I'm going I think we're going with a bunch of expanding to in >> Yeah, >> because that's what I was kind of looking at with the defoam was to see if I could get enough in there so it would come out >> cuz I don't know how big that hollow's face in there. It did. So, if it can do that with that, guess what? It can do it with >> So, that was just ridiculous. I don't even know why I did that.
>> So, now hold up the bottle and sing that song.
>> It's an old Irish song. So now we're going to seal up both of these puppies.
Here we go.
So now we're in Tuming. Who's got some other thoughts for us? This looks fun.
We don't get to have a little >> The truth is the screen's moving too fast. I can't >> Oh wow.
>> I can't see it.
>> People just want the wisdom. They're just aching. Oh, that was just sounded wrong. But I'm good at sounding wrong.
I'll have it give you that much.
>> Have we got more expanding one?
>> Yeah. in the bucket.
>> I think there's another one in there.
>> I don't know. I'll find out. If not, we're going to need it. This really went from a five to five, right?
>> To a nothing.
>> To a nothing. Thank god to a one. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Which is just fine with me. We got enough of these thing going on. And besides that, we're giving Sam back his yard.
So, all these bees that you see monkeying around are going to die off over the coming days. There will be it's a moot subject and uh Oh, look at that. It's working great cuz it's already coming out. So, Sam, I you're watching any of this expanding foam. It of course it's expanding. So, it looks ugly until it cures. Then you can just take a razor blade and trim it off and you're uh done deal, brother.
Now, what's really good about what we have? Yeah, that's what I was going to ask. If they could get in, you guys, they would. All right. They will not ball up if they can still get in. So that's why I'm so excited to see them balling up. Uh because they they would get out if they could. And it doesn't look like they can.
I think we got it, man.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. They can survive in Canada.
They're in Canada.
>> Coastal coastal areas in Canada. Yeah, they're there. They're in Canada.
>> Oh, yeah. Let me tell them about that.
This is very fascinating. So, uh, Canada just put out a list of the 10 most dangerous insects in Canada. And number two is killer bees. I don't know how. I don't care. I'm not in it for that. I'm in it for the parking. No, just kidding.
We do have a fire truck. And anyway, um, yeah, they're in Canada. They're in all the lower 48. No more denial about it.
Uh, yes, they do put out 30 hives a year. Each one of these puts out 30 up to 30 new hives a year. You know, beekeepers get on and comment. It's like, I've been beekeeping for 35, 40 years, and they're tired of they already get there. Snap with the suspenders. Um, I don't care. You're dealing with European. This is Africanized. Once again, goats and horses, two different mammals, two different mammals, two different things, different behaviors.
They look the same. The genetics are different. And the thing problem with the Africanized honeybee is we don't know what to expect from them. They're totally unpredictable. Totally.
>> Hey, >> what do we got?
What do we got? Oh, good call. Hos.
Look at that. Hey, we got somebody got somebody on YouTube. Hey guys, look at that. Isn't that great? I'm glad you saw that. So, now I'm going to defoam that.
>> And boy, is that Oh, man. Good call.
Woo. This is why we like to hang around and see what's going on.
All right, let me get down in there with the D foam.
Wow, that's great.
So, here we go, guys. We're going to put a gash on this.
Oh, I can hear. Wow.
So, this is a residual [ __ ] You know what I Oh, there it is.
Bust my little straw. Man, you know the delivery systems on these, of course, like we always say, they don't make stuff for us, right? Only Rigid does.
Only for us. No one else gets to buy.
Um, so this is a residual that anything that lands on it with six legs and an exoskeleton will um die, but it's safe enough to use in nursing homes, etc., etc. So then, >> and we love using them in nursing homes, >> you know. I hate >> I love using defoam in a nursing home.
>> We do.
>> Yeah. I mean, um I'm trying to think here, hush. Uh I I don't want to use expanding on this cuz it's too messy.
>> What about culk?
>> Yeah, it's going to take a few tubes.
>> Yeah, it is.
>> You know what? Still, have we got any there?
>> Yep, we do.
>> All right, so here's what we're going to do. And this comes from the school of MSU. All right, you guys. I have a doctorate from MSU. And people will ask, "Really? Is that Michigan, Mississippi?"
And I say, "No, that's making [ __ ] up."
MSU, you can steal that. So, I got my decoder ring the other day. So, what I'm going to do to make this save and it don't happen again. Like I say, we guarantee it for two years. We will come back. We don't want to, but we will. All right. All right, we're going to do a little little uh surgery here. Here we go. Where'd we go? There. Now, see this?
Oh, yes. I've worked with steel wool before. So, steel wool and caulk or expanding foam is like concrete and rebar for bugs. You hear that, Sam?
Okay.
It's like concrete and rebar for bugs.
So, what we're going to do is stuff this down in here and then do more and then run a bead of clear caulk over it. And nothing can get in. No uh scorpions, no snakes, no elephants. Elephants. Did he say elephants?
Nothing can get in.
>> Elephant proofing. We're elephant proofing Sam's house.
>> Elephant what?
>> We're elephant proofing Sam's house.
>> Oh, proofing. I like pooping. I thought I heard But my brain would My brain would hear elephant pooping. Well, >> yes, that was my favorite Frank's episode. It wasn't one. Okay, calm down, you guys. Uh, all right. So, and this will make it so that no one else can come and go. But, of course, uh, Sam already knows what he's going to be doing after we leave.
Oh, damn right I do. He's in there going, "Yeah, I know exactly what I'm doing."
Oh, that's awesome, Sam. My god.
All right. Well, one more little piece over there and then it's a rigid tool time, right? And I think I need to put in a fresh one. Yes, I do. Okay.
Might have to go to the truck and get another one. But you got one prepped here, so that's that's just all that matters, folks.
All right. Let's see if I can put this back.
All right. Yeah, that's empty. All right, Killer B Nation. This is, like I said, the school of MSU.
It's on five. I'm going to go with seven on this. I just love this thing.
>> Did you poke holes?
>> No, not in that one.
>> That's the whole deal then. That's what I got to do.
There we go.
All right. So, got a complete action here.
Got to This tool is so amazing.
There we go.
Now we're out for blood. So, this is really beef proofing. It's like playing chess with bugs and losing a couple of rounds. It's really difficult on my ego.
Just kidding. I'm not. Anybody got any thoughts for us? I'm just kind of >> It's a little hard to see. Yeah.
>> Plus, when we were making fun of them on TikTok earlier, >> well, that's >> they were like, "Oh, we're just asking questions." And then, >> yeah, what's wrong? Oh, I guess questions aren't welcome.
>> So, so there was a lot of that. Now, they've gone silent.
>> Crime River. This is a wild west.
>> No, we got we got a lot of good fans on TikTok.
>> Of course, we do. Yeah. And then and also you guys, Killer B Nation, answer questions. Please answer comments. My god, we need all the help we get.
Surgical. Look at this.
Beautiful, huh?
>> Yeah.
That's it. All right, I'll smooth that down. That might do it. I'm not sure.
So, I got to do the old smoosher.
And I think it's going to do it.
But caulking. People ask, "How do I be proof my home?" Get out the ladder and the cult gun. Now, this is non shrink.
Okay? You want to use the non-shrink caulk cuz otherwise, you know what it'll do? Shrink. Now, we're not going to cul up this whole thing because we're not in the home repair business and no bees were coming out. They were coming out of there. So, that actually looks masterful.
Absolutely masterful.
All right. Now, we're going to knock down a few of these out here.
And then, uh when that expanding foam dries, Sam can go ahead and take care of that and we're out of here. Awesome, huh?
>> Yeah. Now, what about the side in the corner there?
>> This here?
>> Mhm. Mhm. Well, there's no bees coming out.
>> Not right now.
>> So, that just counts as home repair, and Sam wouldn't do that.
>> Yeah.
>> I mean, I'm a really nice guy, but I'm not that nice.
>> There are no more bees coming out of there, though, cuz there were some earlier >> anywhere.
>> Okay.
>> All right. Well, I'm going to do a little bit of this fire back. And you want to show everybody?
>> Yeah.
>> Remnant bees, guys.
We got more remnants. And you shake a stick out. Notice how very few are in the air now.
>> Yeah. Well, here they are. This is it.
>> Yeah, they bald up quick.
>> Yep. And that's all it takes. Well, there we go. They're going to die.
>> Wow. Pretty good. So, Sam will just have less to deal with now. But guess what?
Sam got his yard back. Yay.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> God, what a nightmare to have to live with that for years. Happens every single day, guys. You know, we get calls from people and it's like they've been living with the devil for years.
>> You can't live with them. It's just unnecessary.
>> We can't live with them.
>> So glad. No. No. And they're not our friends. They're not >> They're not our friends.
>> They're not They're not anybody. They're not each other's friends.
>> No, they're not.
>> They They They hate each other for God's sake. Killer Be Nation, we love you guys. Thank you for coming along with us on yet another live in the hive. Killer Bee journey. I'm Reed Booth, Killer Bee Guy. Host, you got anything to say about really cool planters on really cool ranches?
>> Yeah.
>> Full of killer bees?
>> Yeah.
Coochis County, home to many cool planters on many cool ranches.
If you've got a cool ranch with a cool planter with honey bees coming and going, you're in Coochis County. They're killer bees. Arizona's 100% saturated.
And it's been that way here since 1998.
We don't need these bees. These Africanized honeybees are man-made laboratory biorash.
1957 they cooked up these boogers to uh help Brazil get on the map for honey production. It worked, but these things are deadly. They escaped quarantine.
They spread out all over the place and uh now they're a huge problem in the desert southwest. Deadly invasive species. We don't need these bees. Let's save America's native bees. 4,000 species of native bees in North America.
Those are the bees that are at risk.
Those are the bees that we need to be protecting. Let's save America's native bees.
