KARMA On South Africa! SA’s Gold Fields FIGHTS To Stay In Ghana For Another 20yrsAdded:
So you know we are not stopping until South Africa stops. In fact as I am talking to you right now these are seen looting scenes from South Africa and you know an activist said that Ghana overreacted by the president trying to go to South Africa to bring our people back to Ghana. Regardless, you know, there is time or it is time for South Africans to exercise their activity of going back home. And it's becoming some kind of misunderstanding between Ghanaians and South Africans here in Ghana. You know, there is a South African business, gold mining business here in Ghana called Goldfield. They actually had a branch at Dhadamis at Pristia, right? That's where they were operating. And they have another branch at Taqua around April 2025. The one at Dharm their lease that ended 30 years um lease actually expired and the government said that no we are not going to continue we are taking the mining back we are the the state is actually going to take control of the activities of the mining right now the other one at taqua is also going to end in April 2027 and they've submitted an extension of the lease to parliament and mind you the extension is actually for another two decades. That's like 20 more years to operate at Taqua. Now, there is an institution in Ghana called the EA.
That's the institution of economic affairs, right? Their books explained to Ghanaians that they think there will be the need for Ghana to revoke the license or not revoke it. It's it's actually ending. So, we wait until April 2027 and then we do not extend it. We do not extend the lease for another two decades. The Institute of Economic Affairs has noted with profound concern recent statements by the chief executive of Goldfield Limited, Mr. Mike Fraser indicating that his company has formally applied for a 20-year extension of its current mining lease at the at the Taqua Mines, which expires in April 2027.
We are equally aware of attempts by Goldfields Limited to court the support of traditional authorities in Tapa and its environments for this proposed extension. The IA considers the requested lease renewal or extension, whatever they choose to call it, to be deeply enimical to Ghana's long-term economic and strategic interests. and therefore calls on the government to soundly reject this uh approach, reject it decisively while prioritizing a framework that secures meaningful Ghanaian ownership and control of the mines at Taan. The state Ghana, we've been selling some of our assets. You've not been able to take care of this ones to sell your bank.
You've not been able to take care of this one. So ser this is so that we take care of your country for you. Meanwhile, we actually have good mind an asset where we can actually gain from. But no, we are rather giving it to foreigners to operate. When they are done, they send the reserves to their country while there are locals that can be able to take off or take over those companies. You don't have the ability to generate revenues.
Therefore, sell your electricity company to pay your debt.
Sell your stateowned enterprises to pay your debt.
Whatever is available, sell to pay your debt. That has been the story for the 17 times. We have sold everything. There's nothing left to sell. Maybe except the human beings.
But while we are selling our assets, we also have a huge lowhanging asset that we can tap into to pay our debts and to pay our way out for development. But those assets have been given away to foreign companies.
So you you you have no access to your gold mines. You have no access to your manganese mines. You have no access to your diamonds if you have any, but look for money elsewhere to pay your debt and pay the uh interest on your debts and so on. So that has been our situation.
>> It's after this particular suggestion by the AI that the boss or the CEO of um Goldfield who is Mr. Mike Fraser, he is actually a South African, explained to Ghanaians that there is no way they are giving up on our gold.
There is no way they are going to give up on the taco gold mining. In fact, they are here to stay and they are begging that the government actually extend or or renew the 20 DK's lease for them and that they have h plans for Taqua. They are going to make sure that taka develops for the 30 decade. We didn't even see anything. This video >> us was the most important thing. But I will say this today is that we are not going to give up in any way on taqua. So in November last year, we submitted a lease extension for the taqua mine which would give us at least for the initial term another 20 years of mining at at tqua. This will require quite a significant amount of reinvestment.
We're going to have to move a huge amount of more material. We're going to have to um invest a whole lot in additional fleet and equipment. And that's going to require additional manpower to actually move that material over the next 20 years. But what that will do is set up TA to be a really successful worldclass asset for another 20 years. And then during that time we can consider how we continue to extend the life of that asset beyond that period. So we are very committed to to Taqua. And if there's a um a disappointment that I don't spend enough time at the mine in Taqua is because unfortunately a lot of the time that I'm spending in Ghana has been to try and lobby the minister minerals commission.
Um, we're meeting this week with the Minister of Finance and all of those politicians who actually have a role to play in the decision about the role that Goldfields has in the future. So, a lot of the work that we're doing um and that I'm having to lift is to really try and present the case of why Goldfields.
>> You know, these are the reasons why I was saying that Africans need each other. You need me, I need you. I have to be in your country. You have to be in my country. Provided I am being there legally and if I am even there illegally, the best you can do is to deport me to my country, I am not supposed to be beaten.
My businesses are not supposed to be looted because look at what is happening. This video actually surfaced on the internet today.
I don't have A lot of you were surprised about my last update when I said that school children, children around 13, 14 are actually beating up their classmates.
that they are foreigners, they should leave the school premises on that particular day. Today the same thing happened.
Yay!
You know, Jenta continue to says that she's not part of the Justinta is an activist. I know by now if you followed my stories, you know her. She continues to say that she is not associated with the match of match that is coming on on the 30th of June 2026. But then his associates that is Mrunu and Rafik they are all saying that the deadline is the 30th of June 2026. Uh you yourself have faced charges of incitement. If we see the 30th of June turn violent how much accountability are you willing to take for that?
>> We never take any accountability because I can't take accountability of of criminals. Criminals must be arrested because you know that when there are machines and where are they protest all OVER THE COUNTRY PEOPLE SOME PEOPLE that are are planning to do to commit crime. THOSE PEOPLE THAT HAVE committed crime must be arrested, not us. And can our government h if they fail to do their job now they want to blame on us about the the criminals BECAUSE WE EVEN WENT TO HEBREW in most places that are highly regard as area areas in SOUTH AFRICA LIKE HEBREW, UVEL AND IN Point Road. We never committed any wrongdoings. So now why this excitement about the 38th? We encourage each and every South African citizen to have a flag in his house household and to carry the flag. CAN WE REVIVE THE PRIDE OF OUR NATION?
>> AND YOU CAN CLEARLY see that none of them is actually taking the responsibility that whatever that is going to happen on the 30th, I take it.
I take the responsibility. I'm going to make sure that the entire thing was peaceful. All they say is that there are going to be some people that do have a different agenda and that they are not going to Mruna even said that he's not going to take the responsibility for whatever that happens on that particular day.
You know if I was a South African an innocent South African I would just be in my house rather than go out there with people that do have different intentions. You would just think that maybe I am just going to match. I am going to match for my government to see that I want illegal foreigners out of my country. There are also people with different mindset that that particular day I am going to make sure that I get iPhone 17 because we are going to loot a foreigner's iPhone shop. I make sure that I get this, I get fridge, I get that and I will even make sure that I honor someone. There are major am there are going to be murders among you on the 30th of June 2026 and your hands are going to be soaked no matter how innocent you are. You cannot advise much. This is Cosm 24. Kindly leave what you think in the comment section. The room is bright because my name is light. Bye.
