My first cold call | MADA Client Meeting | Members Only ExclusiveAdded:
Good morning. Good morning to the members only, to the fam and to the homies. Um, today I am, it's a special members only. I'm out in the streets. Usually, most of the time you see me in my room, but uh, today I've been invited [clears throat] to go to a business meeting with my with my uh, business partner here. I'm his I'm his his protege prog. Yes. Um so usually I do business it's mostly anglophone with uh English speaking clientele. Um and then uh when assistance is needed kind of handles um he's our synagic east cultural expert. Um I I'm the uh westerner c cultural uh expert. So like we kind of divide the clientele that way. Um however now I will be getting into doing business here on the ground locally. So I need to broaden my horizon. So, I've been invited to attend uh one of his meetings he has with a pharmacist here in the Mo area. So, we are on our way. I don't know if I'm going to say anything. I don't know if I'm a uh if anything, I'm a loyal customer because I use his products. He has a serum now. I don't know if I told you showed you the serum, but he has a serum. Uh what's your Instagram again? Uh Green Product. Green Product. If you go to his Instagram, you'll see he has serums and soaps. I use the soap every day on my face. I use the serum every day on my face. It's like a vitamin E. Um, it smells like oranges. It's so beautiful smell. A vitamin E oil and some two other ingredients.
I think sunflower and olive oil mixed. And so you see my face how it be glowing. I don't even be wearing makeup. Only thing I do sometime I put my under eyes sometime but I don't like use makeup and it's too hot to wear makeup anyway. So it's always better to have a natural glow.
So that's what I use on my face every day. Um and I wash my face with his turmeric orange soap right now. So it's bomb. So we're going to meet with a pharmacist to show them a sample packet that he has of his products. I believe it's the oil soap and something else.
Um, I'll show you in a minute and then when we get there, I might not film, but I'll just show you after the fact. I'll tell you how it went. All right.
He's all professional. He got his paperwork and stuff. He's so He's so cerebral. I love it. [laughter] See you guys in a minute. Your serum serum. Serum phrase. And you have your another soap. The soap. Two soap. Two soap. Different soap. Which one? The turmeric orange.
Tumeric orange and moringa. Oh, moringa. Maroon and moringa bitter melon. Okay. Watch these cars.
This one. Okay. And moringa soap. I haven't tried the maringa. Bittermelon. It's hibiscus too.
Hibiscus is good for what? Uh hibiscus is rich on vitamin C. Rich in vitamin C. Okay. And then Oh, it protect you from the sun, too. Okay, cool. So, yeah, I have to try his other soaps. But right now, what I'm using works good. The turmeric. The turmeric. I really like the turmeric soap. The turmeric orange. Yes. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah.
And the serum is the best. The serum I will use for the rest of my life. Oh. already. Guaranteed.
Guaranteed forever customer. Yes. Nice. Yeah. And it smells so good. It's Yes. It's great.
So, do you use them today? Yes, I use today. Can you see the glow in my face? Oh. Mhm.
Yeah. It's beautiful. That's your friend. Yeah. It's my friend. Your your best friend. [laughter] I is in front of us. Is not my friend. He's [laughter] trouble.
It'll be the problem. Porter, why do you look at me? [laughter] Why do you look at me?
[laughter] They always fighting. It's so cute. They have a bromance.
Yes.
I think that's good.
Yeah. So, no.
Or tax. Oh, it's tax now. Yeah. It was tax always.
No. No. No. It's new. It's new. Oh, I didn't know that. No.
this wig. I didn't know. Okay. Where do you Oh, it's a it's something on the side.
See? What? It's not something. No, I think you just push it. I think you just push.
No. I think you just push it. No. close me to you. Well, look, that's what it was last time. Was it? I I think you have to push something um under there.
It's not in the door.
Yeah.
He got to push it.
Wow.
[laughter] my friend. A that's so nice. Thank [laughter] you.
So now when you get gas everywhere you pay you pay how much? I think no I don't know the percent the percent. So right now Yeah. Nice. Okay. So now when you do your uh when you do your same for gas, he asked you for san. Is that like a percent?
It's not the percent. It's like uh 1%. 1%. Maybe it's 1%. Because it's because if it was deep, right? Yeah. So it's like 1%. So now you have to get some change for gas.
you pay.
Oh, when you pay cash. When you pay cash, you pay tax. Oh, but that's interesting. So if you pay with wave electronic it should be it should be the same. I think it should be the same.
Maybe they want you to stop using liquid. Yeah, exactly. They want everybody to use uh Yeah. electronic.
Electronic. Yeah. Oh, that makes sense. But I don't know why. Well, sometime it's good and sometime it's not. Yeah. I think liquid is good because kids kids can use it. Mhm. You know, but for us like just for business if you just have uh electronic pay, little kids can't go buy stuff, you know. But we'll see. We'll see what happens.
So, what's the name of the pharmacist office? Uh, cabinet or something. Pharmacy next to the Gran Hospital. Okay.
You just drive around. Just drive around and you look for businesses. Look for businesses. Oh, yeah. Interesting. Interesting. Okay. Okay.
Okay. So, you're going to inter introduce your products to them and see what they think. And so, he does this kind of test all the time, which I think is great. If you were in San Louis, you do the same thing. No.
Oh. Oh. Oh. But now But now you can do it. You can do it. Okay. So if if you was in San Louis, you can still do the same thing. Yeah. You're going to do the same. Okay. The same thing where he's from. Yeah. That's good. So you can have contact everywhere. Very good. I'm so proud of him.
All right. Got to let you guys know how it go. He said he's inspired by me. I'm a business woman.
I'm a little business woman. I'm a you know a little bit. I'm trying a big business.
We going to get there. You reference insh. Oh, we help each other. We help each other.
Today I'm learning from you. We're going to see how I go. I got to push myself out of my comfort zone. I got to do business. I'm basically I'm I'm a I'm an immigrant business woman. So, I have to I have to put myself in the business world and learn how it works here culturally speaking. So, here we go. Here it is. We're going in.
wish us good luck.
All right, so we came out the meeting. It was good. The guy was very busy. Um I think the last time he said he was with them, he wasn't as busy. So he was working the cash register. So every time it was a customer, he had to pause his speech. Poor guy. He was trying to go through his his uh his uh what do you call it? his spiel and kept getting interrupted. So, that wasn't fun.
And the guy felt a little like, you know, bad or like rushed, but he got through it. He did it.
I think um I'm I gave him a few pointers of what I observed. We both agreed that Oh, look at this place. Look at this. Wow. It's a park over here and in board.
I'm going have to do a video and tell y'all about it when I bring the kids.
Anyway, I'm going to go check it out. But, uh but the meeting was good. It was it was a good learning experience for me. I talked a little bit. He spoke French. English. You know, you were speaking English, too. Yeah. You speak English. French. Woff mix all together. So, that was fun. Um, I told him I used the product on my skin. So, um yeah, it was it was good. It was very interesting. But we both uh kind of came to the consensus that uh a dermatologist would be his best um contract to to to get because of the proximity to the clients that he's trying to um attract. So, but the guy made a deal that he's going to he's going to purchase 10 items of his of each of his products or two of his products or each of his products and then from there um sell them and see how it goes. So he said he did lower his price because the one thing that the pharmacist mentioned was the price of the product is the are the clients customers going to be able to the sick people going to be able to afford it. So um cuz it's right next to the hospital but um but yeah so it may that may be an issue but we'll see. It's a it's a test. You try it out and see.
And then he's going to try to you know hit all angles with the pharmacist. I told him there's somearmacies [clears throat] where people with a little more means may live and that may be a good bet too cuz people going to go in with their doctor's prescription and then they're going to buy what the doctor told them to buy but and then they may see the beauty products or the, you know, cosmetic stuff, you know, just buy randomly and buy it if they have extra money. But when you're sick, you don't plan to be sick. So that's one thing. Anyway, did you like the meeting?
Nice. So cool. You have a lot of meetings like that, huh? Yeah. He's a good He's getting a lot of experience talking to people, so that's good. That's good. All right, we'll do another one. But you're going to [clears throat] go back and bring him the product tomorrow. So, it was a success. Yeah. Yeah. So, he got an order. Yeah. He going to do delivery tomorrow. So, first meeting went well. Thank you. Peace out. Since the recording of this video, our products are now found in the pharmacy in Granbour. next to the Grandu Hospital.
We've also done some rebranding. The new name for the skincare line is Mada. [music] [music] [music] Black people, we the coolest, we the baddest, we the flyest, we the realest. I love y'all. Peace.
