Have you heard of life stretching? 👀

[00:00:00]I'm about to turn 30 in a few weeks and I've been thinking a lot lately about how I'm really not in a rush to move on to the next phase of my life. I just got engaged last year to my fiance Dennis after being together for 8 years and even after getting married next year, we're not necessarily in a rush to move on or take some big step after that.

[00:00:16]Obviously, there'll be some natural life steps that happen, but again, we're not in a rush to move on and we're planning on just taking life as it comes, working on different goals, like different financial and business goals. Anyway, I was reading an article about this last night or recently and apparently there's a name for it. It's called life stretching and it's just when younger adults delay the traditional milestones.

[00:00:36]So, they're doing things Well, they're staying in their current phase of life longer, I guess. So, doing things like buying a house, getting married, having kids later, living with their parents longer, all of that kind of stuff. And I really wanted to know if that resonated with you. Are you life stretching? I guess that's what they're calling it.

[00:00:51]And are you doing it because you want to stay in your current phase of life longer or are you doing it cuz you have to cuz things are more expensive. I feel like for us it's a mix of expenses, but also just a being self-employed people, but yeah, I really want to know if this resonates with you.
