A country that once felt normal and peaceful is now scarred by war. Millions have fled their homes, crossing borders with almost nothing, [music] just trying to stay alive. At number four, Sudan. Conflict after conflict, entire families are abandoning everything they own because everyday life has become dangerous. At number three, Afghanistan. Years of instability, very few jobs, and almost no certainty about the future. For many people, leaving is the only path to safety and opportunity. At number two, Syria. One of the biggest refugee crises in modern history, millions have escaped war, destruction, and the collapse of everyday life. And at number one, Venezuela. Once one of the richest countries in South America, now facing economic collapse, food shortages, [music] hyperinflation, and a currency that lost much of its value. Millions of people have left the country searching for safety, jobs, and a future somewhere else. Sometimes the most difficult journey is leaving your home behind.
