This video analyzes how mainstream media perpetuates negative stereotypes about Black people through selective coverage, creating narratives that blame Black communities for social problems while ignoring similar issues in white communities. The content examines how media outlets like CNN's 'Black in America' and 'Latino in America' documentaries used scripts created by whites and focused on negative stereotypes, while simultaneously ignoring positive aspects of Black and Latino communities. The video argues that media organizations profit from these stereotypes while maintaining a false narrative of 'post-race' society, despite evidence of continued racial discrimination in housing, healthcare, and criminal justice systems.

"Black" Culture, The Foundation, Yet Highly Disrespected | Obdurately Tee #redherringAdded:
Greetings. Greetings. Greetings, beautiful people. Good afternoon, good evening. It doesn't matter what time it is. Just know that today is a day that our good Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has made. And what we going to do, y'all, we going to rejoice and be glad in it. WHY, [ __ ] IT'S CUZ GOD IS GOOD.
HE'S GOOD ALL THE TIME. You know what I'm saying? Forgive me if a [ __ ] insults you.
God is still working on me. All right.
He delivered us all from Sham King. You hear me? So, what we getting into today, our next chapter reading, Barack Obama and the Jim Crow media, the return of the [ __ ] breakers. Y'all know we got to do it. But I got to do some housekeeping first. I got to do some housekeeping first.
So, part of this housekeeping, right?
If y'all haven't realized, okay, your sister girl right here got another page. I got another channel, a little another little YouTube channel.
It's called the antithetical.
Antithetical. Okay. Some probably some people view it as like corrosome, you know, antagonizing, but it ain't about antagonizing.
It ain't.
It's just about being different. Okay.
The antagonist is usually the person that it's not necessarily the the the negative person, the person that is against the hero or something. But the antagonist is usually the person that's perceived, you know, negatively. Most people write them off, you know what I'm saying?
Etc., etc. Plus, I mean, when you look at the anti the or the antagonist versus the protagonist ordeal, you get a a little idea, right? Let me lift this up because I'm all bumping on it.
But the whole point of the antithetical antagonist, because if you look at the definition of antithetical, it basically talks about the opposition.
And the whole point of my the antithetical antagonist channel is to provide insight, knowledge that you wouldn't normally get in your regular circles. You see what I'm saying? It's to provide insight and knowledge through interviews with your regular average Joe or Josephina. You see what I'm saying?
You regular folk. You know, these aren't people that's celebrities. These aren't people that are pundits in any way.
These are just regular average folk who could relate to you with their regular regular life. Okay? So, make sure you check out the antithetical antagonist.
Okay?
I'm not in opposition to you in the regard of like we in emnity unless you in immnity with Christ. Whoever is in immity with Christ, [ __ ] we are in we are immunities. We are enemies.
Another channel feel free to check out is my sports channel. I haven't posted much content there, but I will get better over time. It's called Tiara the Athlete.
My wife just bought me a new pool stick, so you'll see me busting that baby.
busting that baby in. But um that's all the housekeeping here. Um let's get into this [ __ ] book. It's the next chapter. Let me see what chapter we on because I feel like it's like I ain't even going to steer you wrong.
Okay, we got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. We are on the ninth chapter, y'all. In the ninth chapter of Barack Obama and the Jim Crow media, the return of the [ __ ] breakers, the ninth chapter says, "Finally came the inaugural, the inaugural and my coffee pot search." Okay, let's get it. The relationship of blacks to Hollywood and the media is like that of mine to some of my neighbors. I pay for my garbage collection for years. a neighbor instead of paying for theirs dump their garbage on top of mine.
Blacks have to carry their garbage and everybody else's. That's exactly how I feel. That was a great great metaphor, sir. One of the recent big money makers for CNN was a stunt called Black in America. This was a profit-making enterprise that drew large numbers of viewers of the sort who gked at PT Barnum's fake black nursery or excuse me, Black Nurses Autopsy. I wrote a satire about an imaginary behind-the-scenes discussion between CNN President Jonathan Klene and Solidad O'Brien, the show's moderator.
Though Mrs. O'Brien was the upfront face for both black in America and Latino in America. She relied on scripts that were created by whites.
Each one assigned to an aspect of black life.
Black males were done by a blonde woman with predictable results. I appreciate you God bless for stepping in with me.
White in America. My overall grade for this documentary is incomplete and unsatisfactory.
In fact, most of the recent endeavors by major networks on the subject of Latinos in America have failed. Latino in America is incomplete because it ignores major Latino sociodemographic dynamics.
It's unsatisfactory because it perpetuates a negative stereotypical depiction of Latinos in the US. While our Latino community is indeed troubled by the many challenges, Miss O'Brien explores it is unacceptable to paint that as the exclusive image of Latinos. Kind of like how they try to posterize criminality, which they link the mother freaking the what is the the Mexican cartel. They try to link the Mexican cartel and they make it seem like this is this like inherent pervasive [ __ ] criminal enterprise that is just running Russia amongst Latinos cuz you know they always got a [ __ ] just blanket statement and make ambiguous statements, right?
But then they talk about Mexicans and then it caused racial divide or cultural divide amongst other Latinos because now you got Latino other Latinos trying to delineiate from Mexicans kind of like what black people have went through. Black Americans, black people who are native to America, right?
You got Africans, you got Jamaicans, you got Haitians, you got Dominican Republic, you know, the the Dominicans, you got the [ __ ] Cubans, you got all these people, they got black people that make up their culture. But what they do, what they do, they delineate. We not like them. We not like the black Americans. The black Americans, they're criminals. They are ghetto. They're loud. They're too aggressive. We know how to, you know, plate and mllify titilate the [ __ ] white fo. We know how to do it. So don't put us in the same boat as them. Separate us from them.
And that's the same thing that the Latin community does with the Mexicans.
I ain't Mexican. Don't call me Mexican.
Y'all remember when Cardi B got upset because [ __ ] was calling her Mexican?
Thought they all the same people. Y'all thought they all Latino, you know?
I don't know. Let's continue. Let's continue. Anyways, while our Latino community is indeed troubled by many of the challenges Miss O'Brien explores, is unacceptable to paint the that as the exclusive image of Latinos. Frankly, I expected better from Mrs. O'Brien. And this came from Victor Paradise. I don't I'm probably butcher his last name. Advertising age and this was October 27th, 2009.
Another little snippet says CNN reporter Solidad O'Brien should have her sisterhood card revoked immediately and never returned. She has damaged, betrayed, and disrespected the entire black female community with her negative, short-sighted, halfassed, stereotypical, and repetitive investigative reporting on black women in America. That's how I felt about Candace Owens. But we going to continue.
I ain't going to take no [ __ ] sidebars. Her program, Black in America, the black women in the family, was a complete and total fraud. This program did not address the lies and experiences of black women in America at all. It was 2 hours of the same negative racist and sexist stereotypes that the majority of white America believes about black people, particularly black women. And this came from Professor Tracy says on Jamaima's revenge act one office of John Klein, president of CNN.
He is a middle-aged white man whose attire is 50s, dark blue business suit, striped tie. His hair is gray and white and he wears black rimmed glasses.
Klein. Yes, sir. I understand that the shareholders are putting pressure on you and you're merely the bearer of bad news, but we have tried to improve our ratings.
So loud and belligerent is the voice of the other. And after his reply that Klein removes the phone, a little distance from his ear makes a a painful expression.
Klein states, "Won't you give us some more time?" He pauses. But sir, with all due respect, I would like to avoid more staff layoffs. Come up with some cost cutting measures. Yes, sir. Tell all my friends at Time Warner. Hell, he hung up. Then it says, "Outside, chants are heard. Fire Lou Dos. Fire Lou Dos." Goes over and shuts the window. Klein states, "How am I going to keep Lou from going to that three- ring circus at Fox? Wish we had their ratings, though." returns to his seat behind the desk. Then he lays his head on the desk. If I don't come through, I'll end up doing weather and boys. Solidad O'Brien CNN's two fur, three fur, and four fur peaks in cheeky.
A smile that nearly reaches her ears, eggshaped face, dark shoulder length hair. Solidad states, "John, may I have a word?" Klein looks up. Klein, "Sure, Soladad, how may I help you?" She enters the room. Solidad states the memo John requesting that CNN women wear more mascara like those over at Fox and MSNBC.
John, those Fox women look like raccoons.
John, are you listening to me? What's wrong with you? Klein shoves the business day section of the New York Times October 27, 2009 towards Celadette right CNN last in TV news on cable. A hand goes to her mouth.
Solid of that. Terrible. What are we going to do? Klein states, "How about doing a Black in America three narrated by not uh excuse me, how about doing a Black in America 3 narrated by Michael Vic or Chris Brown? Or maybe we can get OJ out on bail." Or what about Gabri Sadibbe, the star of Precious? You know, the 350lb black girl who plays an illiterate Harlem black girl who is impregnated by her father. why she's trampling from magazine cover to magazine cover and showing up award ceremonies like a baby elephant.
She was even honored at the Mill Valley Film Festival, the only black person within 5 miles of the site.
This is crazy that this is the conversation that takes place in these, you know, corporate offices, meetings and such. Solidad states, "What is it with some of these white men and their fetish with for overweight black women? Have to ask Paul Mooney next time I see him."
Allowed to clin Good idea, John, but I think that we can get a bigger share of the market if we did white in America.
We've already done two black in America shows where we trace the problems of blacks to their making excuses instead of institutional and structural racism.
And we did Latino in America in which we concentrated on mostly illegal immigration, desperation, poverty, and crime. Grafting ideas from cops and 48 hours, which you used to produce. Now maybe white in America. Solidad paces up and down the room. The increase in the incarceration of white women showing that Martha Stewart, Lindsay Paris, and the Barbie bandits are not alone. The fact that California white women do more drugs than black and Latino teenagers.
Heroin overdoses and emergency room emissions on Long Island in the suburbs of Dallas, which is true all around the United States of America. Is that [ __ ] drug overdoses is galore amongst white people in the United States of America. Yet, it is falsely believed that black people participate in more drugs and sell more drugs than white people. Why doesn't it reflect in the statistics? But let's continue. We ain't going to sidebar.
Let's continue. Okay. the thousands of rural right families destroyed by meth.
Not only poor people, but upper class whites like Andrea Agassi. Hate crimes against blacks, gays, and Hispanics committed by white male teenagers. Sam Roberts reported that while two parent households are on the rise among black, those among whites are on the decline.
You hear that? While two parent households are on the rise amongst blacks amongst whites it's on the decline.
Interestingly, it is not uncommon to hear white people state even Candace Owens pundits like Candace Owens states that the cause of crime is because it's a bunch of single black mothers raising their children and the daddy is dead beaten out of their lives.
when according to this it states that there was a report that stated that two parent households are on the rise amongst black people yet amongst white people it was on the decline.
Do anybody know the cause of white crime?
I mean since black crime exists, right?
Got to be white crime. Does anybody know the causes of white crime?
Oh, the same ills that causes the crimes of black people, right? Single parent household poverty, not having access to services and resources, lack of job training and job access and employment, lack of mother freaking, you know, adequate pay, lack of access to health care. You know what I'm saying? And you got a bunch of white people just out here dying with health problems and nobody cares. They just get swept up under the rug and they're in high numbers.
Everybody talks about gun violence amongst the black community, violent crimes amongst the black community. Yet it's overlooked that there's more white people dying to suicides by firearms than there are people dying by homicides at the hands of black people. It's crazy. A white person, a white man has a greater risk of taking his own life than I have getting my life taken by a black person walking down the streets.
Interesting.
Let's continue. Trying to hold our sidebars, man.
I'm just saying.
All you got to do is pick up a book.
Dying of whiteness is one of those books to pick up.
Who wrote dying of whiteness? I believe it's uh Jonathan Metzel, right? Or is it Patrick Phillips? I believe it's Jonathan Mezel. Dying of whiteness. It talks about the increased gun violence amongst white people. It talks about the domestic violence that happens, the abuse that happens, not just parent on parent, but parent to child, child to parent.
When you look at the juvenile system, it's a lot of little white kids in there. It's a lot of little white boys.
When you look at the welfare system, it's a lot of white people on it. But for some reason, some reason people's minds when they hear them buzzwords, they brain immediately go to black. Make it make sense.
According to the United States census, 60% of the United States population is white.
So even if just 1% of every group of people out here was involved in anything, whether they was involved in crime, whether it was 1% of the every population that was on welfare, if it was [ __ ] 1% of people that was incarcerated, if it was 1% of people with it would make sense that the majority of people that are in these spaces, good or bad, is white people. Why? Because y'all make up [ __ ] 60% of the US population.
How much is the US population? Over 330 million people. What's 60% of 330 million people? WHITE PEOPLE MAKE UP over 150 million people.
But yet they brains tell them that majority of the crime that's happening in the world is is at the hands of black people. The majority of the crime that's happening in the United States of America is at the hands of black people.
Make it make sense, baby. There's communities we don't live in. Who the hell is committing the crimes out there?
Let's continue. Thank you for that, Jonathan Metsel. Let's continue. Then I thought it was crazy. Hold on. I got a sidebar real quick. Because while we talking about dying of whiteness by Jonathan Metal, he also mentioned in that book how he literally went around and it was it was a bit of a like a what is the word when they go around I forget how they call it but it was like a a a qualitative combined quantitative research where he went around and interviewed people just random Joe's on the street. He was going to Missouri. He was going to [ __ ] Kansas. Dude went to uh Ohio. Where else he went? I want to say it was like Alabama, Mississippi. He went to all these different places and he was interviewing a bunch of white people. And what blew my mind was when I read this one interview that he he conducted with this white dude who this white dude was dying. Okay, the health was in the trash just all the way down here depleted. Right. This dude was hooked up to an oxygen tank just dying. Bro, Jonathan Metel asked him, you know, his opinion. Would you vote for politicians or policies that incorporate like universal health care? Because he looking at this man's health status.
It's like, "Ah my gosh, it's down here, brother. Your health is depreciated."
Maybe, just maybe, you you advocate universal healthcare because you would benefit from it. You know what this man said?
I'm not voting for N politician, n policy that incorporates universal healthcare so that them other folk could get access to it.
This is what pride does to us, man.
Pride will have you outside looking and thinking you pointing fingers ruining something for somebody else. I don't want you to have it. I don't want you to have it. Selfish self is selfish. All I care is me, me, me, me, me. And in the long run, you really think you helping buddy over there. But the person that you [ __ ] hurting is your own [ __ ] self. Because shortly after, this man didn't even finish his book. Jonathan Metzel didn't even finish the book. The same man that he interviewed died in the midst of his research.
Dude was hooked to a whole mother freaking oxygen tank health in the dumpsters, bro. But what did he say? He advocated against healthc care policy that could [ __ ] benefit him cuz he was too broke to afford his own mother freaking health. You see what I'm saying? How many times do people complain about health insurance? They can't afford the co-ay.
You pay all this money to these health insurance people. Then when you get to the [ __ ] hospital, there's certain things they don't cover. And don't get me started. Sidebar over.
Let's continue.
where we left off. Jesus, we over here talking about white people.
Y'all forgive me.
Not only poor people, but upper class whites like Andre Agassi. Hate crimes against blacks, gays, and Hispanics committed by white male teenagers. Sam Roberts reported that while two parent households are on the rise amongst black people, those amongst whites are on the decline. The rash of kidnapping and murders by white male pedophiles. The cover up of child abuse cases committed by white members of the Orthodox community reported by the New York Times.
Klein states, "Okay, okay, I get the picture. Let me think about it." Solidad exit. Klein dials.
Yes, sir. About our conversation earlier, I think that I have a costcutting idea. fire Solid O'Brien.
He recommended firing Solid Doll O'Brien or maybe it's she. I forget what Klein is, man or woman, because they were advocating.
Let's put a TV show out there that disparages white people. That puts all the ills of white people.
Why he don't want that? Because it's like, ah, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on. You do know that the media has the influence to [ __ ] control how people perceives the world.
If we put this out there, especially because we're including wealthy middle class white people, baby, they're going to look at us differently.
The rich ones, the elitist ones, right?
The ones that's richer than the rest. We can't have our image obscured. We can't have that. Fire Solidad O'Brien for recommending that bull crap.
Seeing that Jonathan Klein made money from his Black in America sideshow, NBC decided to do one. This time narrated by Al Roker, a black newsman. That way it won't seem so racist. Oh my gosh, they love putting their token black people out there when they do that [ __ ] bull crap just to make it less racist. Y'all remember when Candace Owens, the Hodge twins, all the [ __ ] weirdos, Stacy Dash, Kanye West, we're going to put some heinous [ __ ] stuff out there. We The rhetoric is going to be so mother freaking wild, bro. So racist, you won't even be able to digest it as racist because I mean, you're going to be receiving it from a black face.
our little token. You know what I'm saying? The little the little [ __ ] that do the little dance fuzz and we give him a little inch so he can feel a little better than you financially. But let's continue. Sidebar over. Such projects are meant to draw advertisers and money by using the testimony or stories of individuals to defame all blacks as some used the matto scandal to raise classical stereotypes about Jews.
These projects, according to the New York Times, provide the producers with a gold mine of opportunity. The words used by the head of one studio who was fighting with another over who will receive the profits from the movie Precious, a story about a black Harlem illiterate girl impregnated by her father.
one that will be used to cast collective blame on black men in the same manner as The Color Purple, which the producers claim is the model for this film and which provided men and women of other ethnic groups to use black men as substitutes for whatever resentment they might have for the men in their groups. Y'all remember the same thing with the homophobic thing? Homophobic is in every mother freaking group of people. Yet y'all remember 2018, 2017, 2019, they had black men as the post child for homophobia despite the fact that homophobia exists in every racial group.
Why y'all do that?
Why do y'all like using [ __ ] black folk, black men, black women as the placeholders for your blame for the raggediness in your community, the violence that runs Russia in your community, the incest that runs Russia in your community, the rape and the murder that runs Russia in your community, the verbal and physical and emotional abuse that runs Russia in your community. You you use black people as placeholders to blame your resentment, your disdain for what exists in your community.
Why?
Same thing with black women. Why, [ __ ] It exists in your community. Why are you over here?
Black people ain't your poster child, bro. Let's continue. Sidebar over.
Anyways, black men give their opportunity to vent.
Excuse me. Black men give them an opportunity to vent. Tradition dictates that they have to keep their abuse a secret.
So much money is being made from books and television that present Nazilike images of blacks that one of the black exploiters, Richard Price, is moving to Harlem, which is an improvement over his former strategy for making millions from such shoddy products as The Wire. Oh my gosh, I never even watched that show, but everybody and they mama was tuned in, especially [ __ ] Let's continue. that of making brief forays into the ghetto. I feel you there, Mr. Ishmamail.
Obviously, there are huge profits in blaming black men for social pathologies. So much so that they maybe the fellow or excuse me, so much so that maybe the fellow should get a cut for serving this purpose. Not only from profit-minded producers, I wrote the Times blog which held a discussion that the film Precious asking when we were going to get a movie about how men who are members of the ethnic groups to which the producers belong treat women.
It wasn't printed, but even saintly Amy Goodman broadcast commentary about a guy who does her annual year in summary which supported the Cosby Gates McWater line that problems confronting African-Americans are self-inflicted.
Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, nugs.
We all heard that stupid thing.
I'm reading a book about a newspaper tycoon who wants desperately to gain the approval of the old money New York crowd. So one day, excuse me y'all, sorry. So one day reading the obituary pages he learns that the section of the old family has died and his grave apartment overlooking the Central Park Zoo is available and thinks that maybe if he buys this place 40 million. The old money folks will overlook the fact that he runs sleazy news products even sleazier than tabloid Tina Browns and that he tell fart jokes and drinks a lot.
And though his newspapers preach family values to blacks, he's working on his third wife, who is 40 years younger than he. In his 70s, he's dyed his hair like a punk rocker and moved to a bohemian section of his town.
His hot young wife looks at the apartment and finds out that the old money folks haven't kept it up and that it needs repairs. I was reminded of the story when watching the coverage of President Obama's inauguration.
The corporate media have hundreds of millions of dollars at their disposal.
But like the old can with the great apartment who wasn't interested in repairing his dwellings, they haven't found the need to repair this operation.
They annoy us with the same kind of structure they've been using since the 1830s. One writer says that the newspaper should get a bailout. He wrote the essay in the nation which if it were a black magazine might be called white nation.
Like national public radio and Pacifica Network, the majority of the contributions to the nation are white men as are the authors of the majority of books reviewed. So if the nation, the New York Times, Washington Post, and other publications receive bailouts, so should black, Hispanic, and Asian-American publications. But we covered an affirmative action around the world an ethnographic study by Mr. Thomas Saba. We've established that white people is okay with taking welfare handouts, bailouts, subsidies, but then they demonize black people, Latino people, every racial group of people, but the poor ones.
So much so that even when you mention subsidies and all these bailouts to rich people, you got a bunch of poor people defending it. Like, uh, [ __ ] how the hell you defend the government helping them but not yourself? These [ __ ] got the means to take care of themselves without any help. Yet you advocate them making more money, getting richer, enslaving you with further and further further more debt, increasing the age to which you can retire.
Everything around you goes up, but your income has been remaining the same for decades. Because I mean, let's be serious. Nine times out of 10, you got the same job that your daddy had, your mama had, your grandparents had, they grandparents had, they grandparents had.
And when you look, taking into consideration inflation, you come to find out that [ __ ] the same [ __ ] paycheck you making, the same amount of money that you making, the income that you making is the same amount of income that your people way back when was making. Yet everything around you goes up except your income.
But it's okay. Advocate for the [ __ ] that get rich off of your demise.
Support the [ __ ] that get rich off of your demise.
Make it make sense. Explain it to me.
Cuz I don't speak stupid.
If you speak stupid, explain it to me, please. Let's continue where I left off.
Jesus, like National Public Radio. Oh, no. We going to keep going. I read that already.
These white ethnic publications have always been aimed at a white market with blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, aka Siberians, Mongolians, treated as foreign news. Athletes, criminals, entertainers, especially entertainers. Even the Nazis liked black entertainers.
Some of the Nazi generals love jazz.
They'd make the gypsies perform for them before putting them to death.
The Showman and the Slave by Benjamin Ree or Rice, however you pronounce his name, R E I SS, traces the influence of PT Barnum's use of stunts and hoaxes on the early mass media. Only the stunts hoax have become more sophisticated in comparison to Judith Miller's hoax about Saddam Hussein's fictional weapons of mass destruction. Oh my god, we still hear that same buzzword today. weapons of mass destruction.
Barnum's fake mermaid was harmless of the early mass media.
The standard picture, Weiss writes, was one of the whites watching in dismay as members of savage races devoured the flesh of humans. Africans, after all, were widely assumed to be the most cannibalistic of races, and this was a sign of their savagery, their moral their moral inferiority to whites.
Well, stories about African cannibalism are rare except for the neocon New York Times magazine section which prints one from time to time about that subject and the periodic time story about people in Bundi hunting down albinos under the belief that their body parts possess magical powers but ignoring the fact that the economic growth rate on the African continent is 5% higher than that of the United States who is 0% selling the black moral inferiority to whites product have gone high tech. This accounts for big money makers like the wire a number of Clint Eastwood's movies who sort of like Hollywood's Lee Atwater. He loves black music, plays like Spinning into Butter, and stunts like CNN's Black in America, where CNN's le or lead bimbo, Solidad O'Brien, interrogated a black man about why he didn't attend his daughter's birthday party.
If this woman believes that the absentee father is a peculiar or a peculiar peculiarly black phenomenon, she should listen to the hundreds of white students I've talked to over the last 35 years.
One student told me that the parents of him and his friends leave them with hundreds of dollars which would with which they buy drugs.
And so unlike some poor kids, they don't need to commit criminal acts to get the money to buy drugs. Their parents hand it to them.
One memorable line from one of these students was about a father who was a tourist in his own town or his own home.
According to one study, 75% of white children at some point in their lives will live 75% of white children at some point in their lives will live in single parent households. 75% of white children, 60% of the US population are white.
75% of that 60% will live in a single parent household.
that y'all love to associate single parent household no daddy in the house to black kids. Make it make sense.
O'Brien following the lead of her boss Jonathan Klein also believes that crack is used by Harlem parents exclusively.
This comment following a report indicating soaring use of cocaine and crack among white students while that among black youth has leveled off.
This is one of the frequent hoaxes that the media creates at the expense of blacks. Like the yarn about how black voters passed Proposition 8, the measure that denied same-sex me marriage to gay and lesbian couples. Or the one about how affirmative action benefited black people even though it disproportionately benefited white people and rich ones of it.
exclusively. Hollywood and the media have found huge profits in promoting negative stereotypes and hoaxes about black Americans. What the black critics of the Moahan missed at the time was that the majority of white women on welfare were probably Celtic members of his tribe. But in a shameless act of self-promotion, he figured rightly that he would be more successful joining the Nixon administration by dumping on blacks the route to power and wealth used by a number of individuals and groups.
Remember the crack baby epidemic. A rumor begun by Charles Crothamer. A hoax.
Ronald Reagan's welfare queen. A hoax.
Affirmative action as benefiting black people exclusively.
A hoax.
Widespread mayhem and rioting after Hurricane Katrina and the murder and rape of a seven-year-old. A hoax. You know what did happen during Hurricane Katrina? Black people was getting picked the freak off by firefighters and police officers who disproportionately were white. Let's continue.
a hoax per or perpetuated by CNN who eventually fired the black correspondent responsible for the rumor after he made up stories while assigned to cover the entire African continent.
Widespread rioting reported in Oakland after the shooting of Oscar Grant, one of 47 unarmed black men shot by Oakland police in recent years. A hoax perpetuated by Jesse McKinley, the New York Times invisible West Coast correspondent. The list goes on.
It's long.
The man who could be called the founder of the American mass media, PT Barnum, was a slave owner and a master of the hoax. He made money from exhibiting a black woman, Joyce Heth, who claimed that she, after Barnum, gave her some shots of whiskey, was 161, and nurse George Washington.
When she died, her autopsy fascinated readers and gave them something about black life to golf at. Barnum even charged admission to those who wanted to witness this grizzly undertaking. It was the OJ story of the time and like the contemporary media have made millions from OJ, his trial saved CNN.
The Penny Press and his readers just couldn't let this autopsy story go.
I began a novel about the OJ phenomenon in 1994. And what I've noticed is that OJ is dragged into stories that have little to do with ex- football players.
And even President Obama was joined at the hit with with OJ.
Thought I had a pencil in here so I could highlight his or excuse me, Barnaman James Gordon Bennett Herald. among the first of the penny presses which debuted in 1835 1835 made cash from Joyce Heth story but I doubt whether they were as blatant about their aims of CNN's Jonathan Klein who according to the New York Observer told Rick Sanchez their right-wing Hispanic token that money could be made from the race issue. Of course, that's why we continue to see it rotated and cycled.
Oh my gosh, just race baiting over and over and over. Black in America, which was meant to make whites feel superior and humiliate blacks by proxy, made so much money that PT Barnum's heir, Jonathan Klene, says he's going to do another one in July 2009. People whose interpretation of movies like The Crash and David Simon's black products differ from mine say, "Well, Ishmamail, you have to agree that these products, no matter how ugly and cynical and racist, give black actors jobs."
No matter how ugly and cynical, it gives black actors jobs. Even though it depicts falsities, it gives black actors jobs. [ __ ] we ain't done that before work.
So did The Birth of a Nation. Ah, y'all know about The Birth of a Nation. The first [ __ ] movie put out into [ __ ] the Americas that utilized blackface menstrual shows. White people pushing racial epithets to push a narrative.
Let's continue.
But at least the actors performing in these venues get paid.
The black panelists who are brought on to dignified town halls like black in America produced on the cheap do it for free.
They do talk shows where commentators have to fill some time three hours at a time for free. It's okay because all they get they get some time on a big platform. It's like [ __ ] [ __ ] performing at a Super Bowl for free.
It's okay because you [ __ ] get exposure, [ __ ] Exposure pay your bills.
stupid.
Anyways, this costs less than some real investigation or an in-depth interviews.
Whatever you might say about the BBC, you did you do get African leaders talking for themselves instead of a stateside classroom person posing as an expert.
The blacks on cable are either conservative or passive or both.
Joe Watkins, an MSNBC regular, and Amy Holmes, a Zambiaborn right-winger, even defended Cheny's use of torture.
Therefore, I was really taken aback when Carlos Watson, the kind of mellow fellow who won't get angry while Scarbor and Buckingham can throw fits whenever they wish, was challenged or excuse me, challenged Joe Scarbor's comment that the Obama stimulus plan was a stinking pile of garbage and charged that he and Limbaugh had gotten the Republicans to vote against the package.
On October 29th, 2009, it was reported that the stimulus had created 380,000 jobs. Scarboro went apocalyptic on the guy yelling, screaming. And so I turned on the Morning Joe at 6:30 a.m.
Oakland time, the day of the inaugur of the inaugural. And you guessed it, I found Mark Whitaker, Washington chief and senior vice president, NBC News, and the first African-American top editor of a national news magazine used a sale pitch that dates back to the 1830s.
He was asking two panelists and a Scarbor host whether Obama should go into the ghettos and get the savages to behave better.
Why this ain't ever asked when it come to the white community? Cuz have y'all been there? They don't look much better than we do.
A hot mess is universal amongst humans.
But anyway, let's continue.
He didn't say it that way. That's my putting words into his mouth. The moral superiority of white sale pitch has become subtler. He asked whether the new president should go into the neighborhoods like mine and preach personal responsibility.
We're likely or we're like the unruly blacks who are always getting into her trouble in the movie Cadillac Records.
We need a white savior like Chess Records owner Leonard Chess to bail us out of our screwed up dysfunctional lives. The white man's burden.
The two panelists to whom he directed the question included a former general who tried to cover up the massacre of Vietnamese civilians and who lent his name and reputation to an enterprise and the invasion of a country that posed no threat to the United States. The invasion had resulted in the murder of thousands of civilians and army personnel. The other panelist was a convicted plagiarist. The host had to resign from Congress abruptly because of a scandal in his personal life.
Surely persons that my inner city neighbors should look up to for moral guidance. I love the sarcasm.
Over the last year, while there have been purges, buyouts, firings of distinguished African-American journalists, even the women at National Public Radio, who were hired to replace black men who have made their target audience uncomfortable, the black rightwing sock puppets have been kept on. They can always be summoned to engage in a finger wagging session aimed at black America. Candace Owens.
President Obama found it necessary to use this tactic when he did his father day speech in his in which he scold the black fathers for their wafering ways.
And Jesse Jackson got into trouble for accusing him of talking down to black people.
Obama was c congratulated by some himmos who got their jobs the way bimbos got theirs. Many find them pleasant to look at, but none of them has the kind of intellect cur or intellectual curiosity that is required of great journalists.
They're there to entertain the women to reveal their needs. The kind of media people who thought the enttrapment of Mary and Barry was funny until Sam Donaldson let it slip that some of them were doing coke themselves.
It's funny. It's like the uh disparity between the weed users and Coke.
It's like uh the difference in punishment that is set forth by legislation which states what is a substance that is highly demonized, criminalized versus some does not make sense. Weed and crack was and still is more punished more harshly than a person with meth, cocaine, materal. Make it make sense.
Anyways, let's continue. Some of them are divorces and have personal lives are in shreds. But they are but they're they were congratulating Obama for what they deemed his sister soldier moment. They also liked his race speech in which he sympathized with the resentment of braen Democrats for what the commentator said was their feeling that blacks were getting more of a lift from social programs than they were not. though considering that whites were receiving land subsidies when Indians were being driven from their lands and blacks were in chains were receivers of the major benefits from federal housing programs which discriminated against blacks. The FDR programs, the Great Society programs, federal highway subsidies, the GI bill which relocated them from the cities to the suburbs. I'm wondering what on earth President Obama was talking about. What is the basis for this resentment? I have the same question, sir.
Nevertheless, as the cameras roamed, trying to see how many pages I got by four. Over the millions who turned out to watch Obama take his oath and deliver his speech, one couldn't help but or one couldn't help being infused with excitement and pride.
I thought of the 600 years of resentment and agitation that led to this moment.
And when he was introduced as president-elect with trumpets blaring like a gladiator movie and walked down the steps towards his seat, I was really moved. This was not only a triumph for the persistence of the African-American movement, but even the intellectuals who commented on this election have failed to mention that Obama is also a member of the Irish diaspora and that one of his ancestors fled Ireland during Ireland's darkest period.
A man who came to this country with few assets. For some reason, the guys on Morning Joe, Irish-American guys, can't bring themselves to mention that Obama's mother was an Irish American, but they mentioned that his daddy was Kenyan.
Wonder why shouldn't Buckinan, Scarboro, Matthews, and the rest be proud of a home girl made good.
I thought that the speech was wonkish as well as Canadian or Kennedy-esque.
Let the word go forth to friend and foe alike. But it was the kind of speech that the president of a country whose economic system is a kind of welfare capitalism had to make. As Kennedy said in a back channel exchange with Fidel Castro, he realized the oppression that a Cuban suffered under Batista. But he the president of the United States, not a sociologist.
After Obama's speech, I went out to buy a coffee pot. Maybe one that would make both espresso espresso and coffee. My drugs. There was a long line at Macy's.
Could Obama's speech have spurred a shopping spree? No. They were giving away perfumes and cologn. A salesperson asked me whether I wanted to buy some cologne. The corrupt coffee maker I wanted have been sold out. The Mr. Coffee maker at Walmart was too plastic.
Carla didn't even want to step into the place because of its labor practice or policies. Once inside, she walked about the place with her nose up turned. I did notice the telltale plastic odor of cheapness. I didn't see any clerks. I figured that they were in the basement hiding from the immigration authorities.
I finally ended up on the fourth street on fourth street, one of the Berkeley white zones. Like the ones that existed all over Obama's post-race America. The kind of place frequented by whites. The kind of people who are, as Warren Hle said, hang around ice cream parlors all day. White people love hanging around ice cream.
They offered his crep coffee maker that looked like the ones they use in restaurants. Way over my budget. I finally settled on buying a larger version of the one we had at home. A bowm, the kind of coffee maker that they must have used in the golden rush days.
With this machine, it takes all morning to brew your coffee, but the taste is superior to those of the other other types. When I returned home, I returned to channel surfing on hard ball. Chris Matthews was allowing Jeff Davis and Robert E.
fan Pat Buckinan to carry on his ongoing vendetta against the president. Among the predictions that he made that didn't come true was that if Obama was nominated, the Republican party will rip him to pieces. They lost.
During the first month or so of Obama's administration, Buckan said that the troubled stock market was sending Obama a message. But on April 13, 2009, MSNBC financial reporter Aaron Bernett announced that the stock market had had its best 20-day or 23-day rally since 1933.
So, excuse me, so protective of Buckan who's on camera for the purpose of selling white or supremacy. the old 1830s media formula that little mention was made of Buckan in support of the Nazi prison guard John Demanjck who was deported in May. It's not that Dan Abrams and the others who employ Bucken are anti-semmites. Buckan is a good salesman for racism which is a business. The rage had or the rage he exhibited indicated that MSNBC's Buckan was clearly bothered by the election of a black president. He wasn't the only one. That's probably why Justice Roberts flubbed the oath. He probably couldn't stand seeing a black man sworn in. Chris Wallace over at Roupert's Murdoch's big tent said that the fumbled oath meant that Obama wasn't the president while a clearly agitated Bucknan was carrying on. I had a vision of old Jeff Davis and Robert E. Lee looking up from hell and fulminating over this inauguration.
It reminds me of uh that Henchcliffe dudes joke. This came out before this book was posted, but published in 2010.
On April 12th, Obama mojoed his critics again.
faced with his first foreign affairs crisis when some pirates off the coast of Somalia held an American captain N.
Gingrich who left Congress in disgrace said that this is an administration which keeps trying to find some kind of magical solutions that doesn't involve effort, doesn't involve risk, and doesn't involve making hard decisions.
Nobody has the will to do anything. A few hours later, it was announced that under Obama's directions, the captain had been freed. On the morning shows, there was a consensus that this was a test for Obama. Yet the next morning, Chuck Todd minimized Obama's role and gave credit to other agencies and individuals. The Morning Joe show became during the campaign and afterwards an adjunct to Sarah Palin's campaign. Yet, because of a couple of token liberal and progressive programs, MS alumni Howard Curts was still describing MSNBC's as pro- Obama on January 25th, 2009.
Later, Matthews dragged out this black preacher whom the right without success had been trying to install as a black leader since 2000. But at least he doesn't wear red shoes like the America's other favorite black preacher.
A Bush fan, his selling point for MSNBC is that he can always be relied on upon to boost white moral superiority at the expense of blacks.
The old journalistic shell game. This conniving tough love entrepreneur and lard ball said that when Obama referred to putting away childish things during his address, he was addressing black people who were children and were like backseat drivers complaining all the time and not doing anything. Or like the late Saul or Saul Bellow said, like teenagers begging dad for the key, the car keys.
My neighbors and I have been trying to rid our block of two two criminal operations for four years. We succeeded in closing one, but the other one is still in operation. An interracial gang, that's right, in California, the gangs tend to be as mixed as those who riot, is making our lives miserable. Engaging in shootouts, littering up the streets, and bursting our eardrums with the dreadful noise from boom cars. Noise that they consider music. We tried everything. We've alerted the police, zoning authorities, the health department. They're still operating.
We're doing something Ash Grant was also doing. We're doing something. Oscar Grant was also doing something. Excuse me. He was a butcher's apprentice who was dragged off a train and murdered by a Bay Area transit policeman. The late new or the latest news of January 25th, 2009 reports that he was beaten by the police before he was shot in the back by a policeman. A young black filmmaker quoted in the New York Times said that the class has replaced race as the postraced paradigm.
Apparently, the police haven't read the memo. Oscar Grant had class. He was a family man with one child and a butcher's apprentice with a job. It's not class. It's one's black ass.
Excuse me for cursing. It's in the book, y'all. I'm not a I'm not a a person that uses profanity in that language or that way. I do throw out a bunch of [ __ ] of [ __ ] though. Forgive me. Over at CNN, Larry King brought in the kind of people who Jonathan Klein feels make whites comfortable to comment about the election. Corporate hip hoppers, athletes, and comedians.
MSNBC thought it was clever to solicit the views of a 10-year-old black who in the old days of Valdeville would be called a pick. His white teacher was clearly myth that President Obama didn't drop everything to give this journalist an interview. While great black journalists like Les Payne have lost their columns, CNN's Jonathan Klein gave a black comedian a news show, Amy Goodman's inaugural show has some excellent features. She invited a historian who provided some historical background about the building of the capital by African captives. The historian says that it was a slave and that originally the creator of the statue had to replace a cap that was made popular by the French as a symbol of liberty because Jeff Davis, a slave owner and a real character who tried to escape Union troops by getting up in drag, objected.
Tried to escape Union troops by getting up and drag. Is he saying that this man dressed up as a woman, Jeff Davis? And he probably somebody [ __ ] hero just like uh what's that [ __ ] name? Robert E. Le. Colonel Robert E. Oh my goodness.
Another thing I think is interesting.
And see, this is why I feel like education has people in the chokeold, right? It's not all white people. It's just the uneducated racist ones. They love to say how it was the Democrats that enslaved black people. And then they praise people like Roberty Lee who was a colonel in the Marine Corps.
Then when you look at the history of Roberty Lee, Roberty Lee advocated slavery. He was also a Democrat. But yet today's modern-day Republicans openly praise folks like Robert E. Lee, who was a Democrat.
You got Democrats who secretly praise it. But [ __ ] think I'm crazy when I say these [ __ ] all one and the same.
Why you got Republicans praising Roberty Lee, a Democrat, if they ain't with the slavery? What else is y'all praising a [ __ ] for? You don't know what the freak he did while he was serving.
Y'all uneducated.
Oh Jesus.
You find all the information you need picking up a book. And a lot of y'all be avoiding books and y'all just regurgitate retired rhetoric. It's kind of like how I had a bunch of Republican racist white people try to tell me, you need to read Thomas Saul's book on affirmative action because they wrongly believe that his book on affirmative action supported their conf, you know, their confirmation bias. And in fact, not only did Thomas Saul say that affirmative action was detrimental to the black community, he even went on to show that it's not just black people that was on affirmative action. In fact, black people were disproportionately left out of the use of affirmative action just like welfare and every other system that people keep saying we use to the glor.
We use to the maximum.
It doesn't reflect statistics. It doesn't reflect data. You understand what I'm saying?
So, where y'all getting this knowledge from? Anyways, let's continue. I'm going on a side sidebar.
Lock me in. Jesus. Where we going?
Jeff Davis, a slave owner and a real character who tried to escape the Union troops.
So that means he was a Democrat. He was pro-slavery, pro the Confederacy.
And this man got up and tried to escape the Union troops by getting up in drag.
Y'all heroes.
For somebody who be Y'all [ __ ] be homophobic. And for somebody who's so homophobic, a lot of y'all heroes, they do cosplay, you know, women cosplay. They dress up as women. Some of them turn into trans. I'm pretty sure it's a lot of boomers who looked at [ __ ] what's that white man name that's now Bruce Jenner. I'm pretty sure it was a bunch of white dudes that was like, Bruce is a man's man. Now look at Bruce.
Y'all got to stop blindly supporting these humans. Like the Bible says, don't be a debtor for nobody. You don't know these people. Stop advocating for them.
They not going to do it for you.
Y'all be out here vouching for [ __ ] that just be out here create do wreaking havoc, [ __ ] just running Russia in sin and criminality. And then y'all come out here. But he's a great person.
He done this kind deed for me. I agree with the stupid stuff that he [ __ ] spews because I believe it.
Well, maybe, just maybe, you might want to check your own thought process. I'm just saying. Let's continue. Cybar done.
The show was marred by a weak poem by Alice Walker. She called it her inaugural poem.
I call it a Hallmark lit full of syupy bland sentiments. The problem with Miss Goodman and other white progressive feminists is that they are so desperate for the approval of black womenists who smile at them when buying their books but secretly despise them. Oh my gosh, the amount of bgeoisi black women who fake the funk with other white women and behind the scenes mother freaking detest them, bro. It's crazy.
And y'all be up there [ __ ] doing a dance with smiling your face all time. Want to take your place to backstab us. Backstab us.
Let's continue. Sorry bar. Sorry bar over. Come on. Come on. Jesus. Keep me.
Keep me locked in. Oh yeah. Lord who smile at them buying their books but secretly despise them. That they are responsible for promoting some of the tritis.
Stale. That's what trit stand for. Stale trus of black literature. None of which has the equality the quality of Elizabeth Alexander's inaugural poem which for me was the best of the four inaugural poem that I've have heard.
While Barack Obama reached back to the 18th century for George Washington to quote Miss Alexander. Miss Alexander went back to Anne Bradreet in a poem that combined the rhetoric of the Puritans with the concerns of the proletariat writers of the 1930s while using the literary devices of the modernists.
That's a mouthful.
Hats off to C-SPAN and MTV for providing, in my opinion, the best of the inaugural coverage. Excuse me.
C-SPAN lets its cameras roam without being interrupted by pundits who are wrong most of the time or who are there to deliver asinine and salailable tough love lectures to blacks while MSNBC excuse me has right-wing black global warming denier Michelle Bernard certainly more evidence that MSNBC sees his favor to Obama CNN uses ter from Reverend Moon's paper.
Michelle Bernard asserts her right-wing lean or leanings from time to time, interrupting her pasted on smile. She opposed the equal pay for women bill that Obama signed. C-SPAN permitted one to snoop in on some interesting sights and sounds like when the Carters passed by the Clintons on way to being introduced to the crowds. While they greeted the Bushes warmly, they snubbed the Clintons.
Maybe it's because they know the extent of the Clinton's vindictiveness.
Still sore at those who supported Obama.
Moren Dowed reported that they were responsible for derailing Carolyn Kennedy's Senate bid as payback for her and her uncle supporting Obama.
Instead of patronizing those whom they view as their target audience with comments about the inaugural from athletes and comedians, which they love using athletes and comedians to push they bull crap, which more recently, look at that roast with her. And then why do y'all [ __ ] take stuff from black people and then gingify it?
I'm white people never prefer to flaming [ __ ] [ __ ] just the [ __ ] as roast until recently. It's annoying.
Y'all mother freaking just gentrify everything. But let's continue. Sidebar over. Jesus.
Where did I leave off?
H. Instead of patronizing those whom they view as their target audience with comments about the inaugural from athletes and comedians, etc., C-SPAN had a first rate African-American historian, Daryl Scott, chair of Howard University's history department, to act as its guide to the inauguration. The corporate media won't give the new president a break. Regardless of what himbo and lover Howard Kurt said about the media being 100% behind Obama, one of those media hoaxes that's been refuted by three studies.
He wants to be beyond race, but the TV producers won't let him. He may have a rainbow cabinet and a rainbow following, but those who control the opinion industry don't include a variety of colors. Uh-huh. Color blind. This is not This not only applies to the corporate media, but the progressive and liberals media as well as well. Excuse me.
They're ridiculing the Republican progressive or excuse blending words over here. They're ridiculing the Republican party as a white country club is a case of people living in glass houses. This media country club will pounce upon every Obama misstep. Though millions of people of different backgrounds, races, and ethnic groups all over the world applauded, they view him still as the black president.
Some might find this limiting. When they interviewed Obamacans in a crowd of 2 million, they focused on the views of blacks. But in studio, he was evaluated by mostly white panels and the right-wing black help.
They won't give the guy a break.
When he gave speeches that were soaring in oratory and rhetoric that said that he was trying to be a rock star or as Miss Clinton said, all he has is a speech. Then when he delivers a sober, low-key recitation, a list of the crisis faced by Americans, Jeffrey Tubin, who got his job as TV commentator for his comment that blacks shouldn't be patted on the head because they supported the decision of the OJ criminal trial, but he complained that the speech didn't include flights of oratory speech. Other establishment elements are using his election to suggest that the fight for racial equality has been won. The New Yorker had a cartoon suggesting that blacks were free at last. They had a portrait of Martin Luther King above an angry Bush leaving town. The Bush administration had a higher percentage of black contributors than The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, The Nation, and other hip publications that supported Obama.
In October 2009, Eric Alterman of the nation comment or commented on the decline of white American power. Not to worry, whites still have the nation where like Pacifica, 90% of the commentary is by white males and an equal percentage of books reviewed by white male authors.
That cartoon in the New Yorker reminded me of what the great Chesters once said.
He said that if you made a black man a general in the army, you could do anything you wanted with black enlistes.
If as the New Yorker and other publications have announced, we've reached King's Mountaintop. I guess I'm a lousy mountain climber. I hear all the shouting and cheering at the top of the Obamacin survey, The Promised Land. But I'm down here struggling with these rocks. I feel you, my brother.
If I were a 19th century cartoonist like Thomas Nast, I would label The Rock's discrimination against blacks and Hispanic by the m mortgage industry, racial disparities in the health industry, racism in the criminal justice system, including prosecutorial and police misconduct, the flooding of the inner cities with illegal weapons.
And while the media are heralding the election of Barack Obama as signaling the event of a new post-race period, their own profession has seen a virtual purge of minority journalists. 840 lost their jobs during the year of his campaigning. Oh my gosh. Over 840 black people lost their job during Obama's [ __ ] campaign. Even though they try to say that, oh my gosh, black people, look at you MADE IT. YOU AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD BECAUSE Obama is the president. You're at the top of the world because Jay-Z is a [ __ ] millionaire or billionaire. You're at the TOP OF THE WORLD because Michael Jordan made it. YOU'RE AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD BECAUSE Kanye West [ __ ] these [ __ ] don't do nothing for me.
They can't even speak openly about their own [ __ ] opinions. These the richers beholden to somebody and it's usually somebody richer than them. I'm just saying. Cat got your tongue? Yeah, it's a [ __ ] with more money than you.
One thing I can say I like about here down here in poverty, [ __ ] can't do nothing to me. I could talk all I want.
[ __ ] what you going to do? I ain't got nothing to lose.
But let's continue.
Though millions of people of different backgrounds, races, and ethnic groups all over the world applauded. They view him still as the black president. Some might find this limiting. When they interviewed Obamac 2 million, I've read this already. I'm sorry, y'all.
Let me scoot. Free at last. They had a portrait of Martin Luther King above an angry bush leaving town. Yes, they did.
In October 2009, Eric Alman. Oh, no. I read that, too. That cartoon in the New Yorker reminded me of what the great Chesterheims read that too.
If, as the New Yorker and other publications have announced, we've reached King's Mountaintop. I'mma stick here. I guess I'm a lousy mountain climber. I hear all the shouting and cheering at the top of the Obamacare survey, the promised land. But I'm down here struggling with these rocks. If I were a 19th century cartoonist like Thomas Nast, I would be I would label the rocks discrimination against blacks and Hispanics by the m the mortgage industry, racial disparities in the health industry, racism in the criminal justice system, including prosecutorial police misconduct, and the flooding of inner cities with illegal weapons.
And while the media are heralding the election of Barack Obama as signaling the advent of a new post race period, their own profession has seen a virtual purge of minority journalists. 840 lost their jobs during the year of his campaigning. Wow.
Moreover, if the visuals they chose during inauguration are any vindication, Barack Obama is the post-race president whom they won't allow to be post race. I like how you did that.
Since then, millionaires and billionaires who own the media have had or excuse me, they have used their talking heads to pounce upon any of Obama's plans that are injurous to their interests. Already, AOL news have shifted from presenting its daily black athlete in trouble to taking down Obama.
And while a first- rate writer and journalist like Amy Alexander is having trouble finding a place to place her copy, AOL employs the imported intellectual mercenary Denish Dausa to write about black culture and politics, which is like it would have been had Hollywood hired Stum Thurman to write the screenplay for the Martin Luther King story.
MTV's youth ball demonstrated that if the corporate media doesn't repair its its relying on the ancient Carne, the wedge, to raise ratings, they will go the way the Republican party. They will go the way of the Republican party.
Tennessee identifies some of the MTV performers for an old school party or excuse me, for an old school person like me. Tennessee identifies some of the MTV performers for an old school person like me. She and I get into it about which period is the best. I say the 1940s, she says now and maybe the 1960s. When I saw the enthusiasm of these young people, black, white, brown, and yellow, helping to build houses, repair schools, and all fired up and ready to go. I, who have been critical of some of Obama's cynical political moves, after all, he's a polit politician.
Thought he might just bring it off.
Thought he might just bring it off his Yes, we can. I was wrong about Obama's being elected. I thought the Clinton would win. I voted for Cynthia McKini or McKini, excuse me, because her political views are more compatible with mine. One of Obama's accomplishments was that up to now, black men have been seen as evil. Now, maybe we're the lesser of two evils. But I wasn't ready for the Obama phenomenon that swept over the land, like the legendary big wave that surfers talk about. I should have known that something different was happening when I heard a black man call into C-SPAN's Washington Journal. He said, "When I hear Obama speak, I feel like just getting up and doing something."
Finally, one hopes that no harm will come to this young president. Already he has challenged the United States intelligence community. The last president who did that was JFK.
The National Association of Black Journalists jointly sponsored poll of 462 people attending the inauguration in Washington on Tuesday and found that most said their primary source for news was cable television. Y'all, we have come to the end of this book. I thank y'all, you know, for the ones who had tuned in with me. I appreciate it. For those that mother freaking uh commented in the live chat, I thank you. But um I just want to tell y'all, you know, watch as well as pray. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you according to his riches of glory. And when I say God, I mean Yahweh, the one who sent Jesus Christ, the same one that is uh he got a [ __ ] got everybody a choke hole, you know, the cornerstone that the builders rejected. Mhm. Yeah. That one.
See, he first the kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you according to his riches of glory. Okay. Stay prayed up because man cannot survive on bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God Yahweh.
Okay, you want to be mother freaking you want to have your armor, you got to put on the whole armor. And how do you put on that whole armor of God? By reading your Bible and talking to Jesus. Okay?
However you get your little schedule going, it's up to you. Just get your schedule going. Even if it's just a verse here or there, every now and then, just get it in your spirit, get it in your soul, get it in your mind, get it in your body, because we all need Jesus.
And without Jesus, we will fall apart.
We will crumble. Okay? I love y'all. God bless and shalom.
Yeah.
