Tipping culture varies significantly across cultures, with North America treating tipping as an expected norm while Nigeria views it as an optional gesture for exceptional service; this cultural difference creates misunderstandings when people from different backgrounds interact, as what seems like generosity in one culture may be perceived as entitlement in another.

>> No. I'm just I'm just I'm just a first.
I already know how you go before me.
>> No.
>> No. I'm just a girl. Go ahead.
>> No. No. I'm sorry.
>> No. Go ahead.
>> You want to go before the women. Is that what you want?
>> I don't do You know what? Talk. Let's ask how are you? How was your >> No, no. How are you?
>> How are you?
>> No. How are you?
>> I'm so sorry.
>> No, no. Go ahead. How was your week?
>> Who sent me?
>> Who sent you for for you? Don't go deep.
Just ask.
>> Anyways, guys, I'm good. I've been working a lot. I've been at the gym a lot.
>> Um, >> we can see.
>> Okay.
>> Summer. [laughter] >> Summer is here. Summer is tomorrow.
>> Summer is every summer is every day that sun is outside. Amen. [laughter] But yeah, you said you've been in the gym. So, um you didn't say this on the episode, but you said it off. You said that you went for something that starts with P >> P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P >> P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P P Pilates.
>> Pilateses. Yeah, >> Pilates. I do uh Pilates three times a week. 11:30 with the period.
>> So, let's let's let's get into the episode. I don't know it's just me but in this Canada 80% of the women are started doing Pilates and I want to understand three things. Number one, what does it do for you? Number two, why are we all doing it? And three, can men do Pilates?
>> Um, number one, why are we doing it?
>> Yeah. Why are you doing what is the health just why can't you just go to the gym? Why you >> Well, first of all, it's not the gym.
It's the same thing. It's either or.
>> In fact, four question. What is pilatis for the our listeners that don't know like us and I >> actually don't know what it is. I'm not to be honest. I just think you guys >> No, that's what you hear now. Tell us. I thought >> to me I thought pilat is like you do rubber you know those rubber those >> rubber that they step on you and >> it's not stretching.
>> Okay. Everybody thinks Pilates is stretch like stretching and it's not stretching. Like when I do Pilates I do core and glutes.
>> So you work out your core. M >> and you work out your glutes and your legs.
>> Your glutes is your bum bum.
>> Yes.
>> Okay.
>> Hey. Um anyways, it also depends what kind of Pilates you're doing, the level you're at, but it's just like a workout class.
>> So, why are all the women doing this?
What happened? Is there something that the men are going to do? I think women are doing Pilates. What is going on?
>> I think people started doing it to start with because it was trending.
>> So, you agree that is trending?
>> Oh, 100% trending. Is that why you you joined or did you join for your own personal?
>> No, I No, I joined for my own personal reasons.
>> You know, the reason why I'm asking is because I have been thinking that's I ask you can men do is I are thinking of doing a potential episode.
>> Don't lie. Don't lie on my name. Who Who wants to do Pilates? But I will do it. I will do it.
>> I think it will be cool. You guys do you guys think and I pilates classy hits pilates.
>> You be I I'm buying I'm buying into it.
>> Yeah, bro. Will you coach us?
>> I'll coach you guys.
>> Okay, cool. Can you coach?
>> I mean for you goes to no KPI [laughter] do pilateses with coach Hera.
>> Oh yeah instructor. I'm not >> instructor. Oh yeah.
>> First to tap out. There has to be a punishment.
>> First to top out. No I have to put money on.
>> Yeah. There has to be money punishment.
First t >> 1,000 >> 1,000 what? Naira.
>> $1,000.
>> You know what? So when that episode >> if you lose four shots >> doesn't drink now.
>> Yeah.
>> Four shots of whatever I make him do.
Period.
>> Four shots of apple cider vinegar.
>> Okay.
>> I agree.
>> It's worse than tequila. Anyways, >> I agree. I agree. Anyh who, now the reason why this episode exists is because something happened and I feel like >> I need to give you a little bit of backstory to >> let's take them back.
>> Explain to everybody why we said you know what please we need to have this episode and we need to have this conversation on air.
>> Let's go. So a couple of months ago, like a couple of months ago, um H and I went out, right? We went to get food. So we went to one like what do they call >> Middle Eastern?
>> Yeah, Middle Eastern. Um what is the name of the party? Lebanese >> went to get Lebanese food. Now on a Sunday was just like vi now. So we're there, we eat, the food was nice. Now they've brought bill.
>> Yeah.
>> I see the bill and I'm like oh wow.
Okay, cool. Interesting. I'm not going to say how much it was but as a gentleman that I am I took the check and I paid for it. Now when you are paying for something they will ask you that what do you want to tip? So I have a rule right? If the service is not extraordinary like I go out and the service is not extraordinary. Let's say my bill is $50 $54 I round it up to 60.
I'll give you $60. If it is $57 I will give you $3. Right. I'm I'm just going to round it up to >> now. So start to vex for me. What do I mean by that? That why did I not just tip him 15%. And I was confused that wait what is my offense here? I not I know my I not what will you even do? So I said that we need to have this conversation that I feel like there is a there's a problem in society right now that needs to be discussed about tipping culture.
So, first of all, I will direct it to you. When you go out to eat, what is your tipping rule? Do you have a rule?
>> Do you want my podcast answer or my real life?
>> I want your real life answer.
>> No, I always rule with these guys. They are family. So, I'm not going to lie, man. If the thing you I buy is 57.13, I give you 57.13. You must give me my change. I'm not playing with you. Nobody has ever come to my place of work to say, "Oh my god." Ah, I like this layout that you did. Take this tip.
>> Take tip.
>> Why do I like I I don't understand like I I don't do personally I do not tip but recently I've been I've been >> like at like >> she boring. She >> Why are you looking at me like that?
[laughter] >> No, keep going.
>> Like personally I I don't think I I No, I don't think I know that I don't indulge in that. It don't really concern me.
>> Why? Why? because I'm paying for the service I the value you gave me what you consign me concern the remaining other this [laughter] >> you know let's put a piece >> but no but look like I said recently like remember I think it was a piece so three no not three uh I think six or seven when we're talking about um jobs that we did >> so when I walked in the kitchen >> I realized that like oh these tips they actually share it to everybody at the back so when that happened >> whenever I've gone out >> if The service is nice >> which most times I don't. My standard is very if you don't do over and beyond and >> okay over and beyond but none of them have been in the service industry ever >> in the kitchen. That's not a service industry.
>> That's not the same thing.
>> That's not the same thing.
>> I'm a dishwasher. Sorry.
>> That's not the [laughter] same thing.
>> I did not.
>> That's not the same thing.
>> I'm not a veteran.
>> Yeah. [snorts] from there.
>> The standards are so high but they've never been in the industry.
>> Okay.
>> How do you know the standards of anything?
>> You've only been served.
>> No, but I'm saying your point. Let's forget about the tipping part. Talk about my standards are so high above and beyond. But you've never been part of the industry. So how do you know?
>> If I ask you for 12 wings, put 15. Tip me wings then I tip you money. Simple.
If you don't tip me, I don't go tip you anything. If I ask you for seven for steak, >> you want me to steal?
>> So the money where I give you don't be ti. [laughter] >> You are stealing my own money. I'm tipping.
>> I'm not stealing from your own money if you're giving it to me.
>> You should give it to me too now.
[laughter] >> You know what?
>> Speak your mind. So the story I just gave you, what was your beef about the fact that I rounded up? I give you $7.
Here's my thing. I think >> culturally being in Canada >> and in wherever we are, whatever North America, you just have to be part of the culture. Just tip 15%.
>> It is not that serious.
>> Is it help me to walk the money? Why?
Why? Why is it mandatory for me to to >> It's just part of the culture. You just It is literally part of the culture.
>> Which culture? Who Who creat?
>> No. Who created the culture? Who created the culture?
>> I don't know who created it. See, I feel like this thing is um What is that? The agenda I'm not falling for. What is that thing?
>> This is that propaganda I'm not propaganda I'm not falling for.
>> This is not the propaganda. It's been here forever.
Literally been here forever.
>> So, here's the thing about tipping. So, in my own understanding, it is optional.
>> Exactly.
>> So, the reason why it is now entitled Nobody's entitled to your money.
>> If you don't want to tip, don't tip.
>> Mhm.
>> But but but if you don't tip, >> don't piss me off.
>> If if you don't [clears throat] tip, you'll be insulted. You say that you insult first of all I want you don't you see those say if you cannot afford tip of $30 that why are you eating me >> you know what let's let's let's understand her KP tipped something $7 yeah he rounded it up she was she had a problem with it yes >> first of all he didn't tell me no no no first of all but you know I I said was the bill wouldn't tell me so I just left cash >> why would I tell you why would I tell you I forgot that part >> she kept on asking me how how much was the bill the bill was like $93 I think >> you said we will not say it But we don't.
>> No, no. I I I want I I want them to understand the context. So like it's like $93 and I'm like trying to [laughter] like why would I tell you maybe I should ask you guys if a babe you go with and she's asking you how much the bill was like do you I don't ever tell you like >> but the only reason on based on tip percentages cuz I am a server. She now asked me how much did I tip and I said why are you asking was it how much I tip and I told her she called me this let's ask her like Ky said she was vexing for the $7 thing he did >> I didn't I didn't even know what the bill was so I know I wasn't >> how much did you drop think he's wrong if it was you that saw a $93 bill um how much would you accept >> 25% >> 25% but you just said now 15% >> I'm saying but I'm saying I'm saying my >> she does she doesn't do 15 she does 25 how How much did you drop on the table that you forget? I don't know.
>> It was like $30.
>> $30.
>> The bill was $93. She tipped $30 plus my seven. So $37 just for bringing the food from outside. And I'm like the guy was nice obviously. But >> mind you, he gave us free drinks. Thank you.
>> Okay, that one is over and beyond.
>> Yeah, thank you.
>> He gave us free He gave us free drinks after. It was I said if I if my wings is 12 and beyond if you say $30 tip you give me I'll round it up now the table when he gave us that >> the guy was nice now but >> yeah exactly >> that's why I gave him $7 round up said $30 >> so he just doesn't >> No he said he has changed round up now since I since I worked in as a dishwasher I'm sorry I'm not I'm not >> you're not a service staff >> exactly So, do you want to tell the people like what you and why you feel so passionate about this topic?
>> No, it's not even that passionate and I don't want to say I'm entitled to people's money. They can do whatever they want with it.
>> However, I am a server. I'm a waitress.
I'm a bartender >> and I just feel like it's part of the culture.
>> Yes, >> that's what we we're here for. So, we just follow the culture >> and it's it's like not mandatory, but it's part of the culture to tip. So, just do it.
>> Okay. So I'm going to ask this question very directly. Yeah. And you must I want you to give me layers to why you came to the to the to the conclusion or to the or to the thought process that you came through to come to this decision that you did that you that you have done. The first question I'm going to ask you is is what's the highest amount you've t somebody and why?
And what's the highest amount you've been tipped?
>> I'm not going to talk about the highest amount I've been tipped. We're not going to talk about >> for safety reasons.
Not safety reason. It's just Okay.
Anyways, >> security >> probably the most I've tipped is probably like I would say 100% but like my bill would be like $10. I'll just tip you $10. Like who cares? It's just $20.
>> No, no, no. I understand $10, but like what is the highest amount of money that you have dropped off as a tip?
>> I don't know. I go out too much.
I don't keep track. I'm not keeping track though. Oh my god, I tipped this person this much money today.
>> So, you can't tip $50?
It depends on the bill.
>> Depends on the bill.
>> I'm tipping on the bill.
>> Do you think you've t $800 before?
>> Have I tipped what?
>> $100.
>> Yeah.
>> Have you tipped $500 before?
>> No, I don't. I don't. I've never had a bill that high.
>> Okay. 200.
>> I'm going to say the max of my bill of tip is probably 150.
>> You tip $150?
>> Yeah. But just like if the bill was 300, let's say 250. Okay. I'm going to tip.
>> Hey. Hey. God. Jehovah hate my life.
>> I don't want to be a mechanic.
>> I want to be a baller.
>> I want to be a [laughter] baller.
>> What do you mean? So wait, that 150 now split it at the back. How does how does that formula even go? Because if it depends if I'm a chef, >> it depends like where you work or what restaurant you're at. Like some people tip like they tip out. So this like the servers and the bartenders tip out best based on um their sales.
>> So you divide everything.
>> Yeah. No. No, you're not listening to me. So, if my sales are $3,000, let's just say the place I work at tips out, let's say 4%.
>> Or 10%.
>> So, you tip out 10%. So, if I if my sales are $3,000 that night, I have to tip out $300.
>> And the $300 is shared between everybody else, not me, though.
>> No, you >> you know what I'm trying to say? And then with other places, they'll tip out based on their their tips.
>> Is that making sense to you guys? Yeah, >> there's tips and then there's sales.
>> There's how much you've sold >> and then how much you've made in tips.
>> So, it just depends where you're at.
>> So, if you sold 5,000, >> you have to tip out. You have to give the rest of the [ __ ] of the guys 500.
And >> let's just say that's just what the It just depends on where you're working, >> whatever percentile you tip. But then some places will tip out based on your tips.
>> So, let's say this night you've made >> $400, you'll tip out 30% of your $400.
So they can like tip it. And that's why when you were in the kitchen, you were getting a tip out.
>> Oh, makes sense. Okay.
>> The reason why I brought that up is because if I was a chef, me make the steak and then the bad tender tipping, I'll be vexed because is my food. Okay. Is it possible for you to say I want to tip the chef instead of the server? Can you do that?
>> If you want to directly go give money to chef, you can.
>> How do you do it? Because they just say 15. How do I request? I don't want you to have the tip. This tip is for the people that made the food.
>> Eat at home.
>> Why?
>> Eat at home.
>> Why eat at home?
>> Why can I have autonomy of my own again?
I have to see free chicken I made.
>> The the percentage I don't have over the money go. I don't have a chef.
>> You just said you were a dishwasher.
>> Who was a chef?
>> No. No. Multiple jobs.
>> I did everything >> where >> I can't say. Yeah, cuz I'm an >> But I've gone there to eat it. I went there to eat it like a couple of weeks ago. I look the food. I say for them to have been able to hire us to be a chef here. Oh god. But back to what I was saying. So >> was it good or bad?
>> The food was good. Now the food was good, but I'm like why? So the server that dropped the food, you brought the food from the like that is your job. No, that is what you are being paid for.
>> That's why I said no one's entitled to your money. You can do whatever you his entitlement now because on on Twitter like on Twitter it's always like a a thing of even in Nigeria it's like a oh you have to tip your servers he has even pass let me let me tell you why this conversation is even happening because I feel that there's a big cultural difference with where us and I are from and where you are from >> there is no there isn't >> there is let me tell you in Nigeria people create jobs for services that don't need to be services when I went to Nigeria in February Me and my guy, we landed, me and we landed. We went to the toilet and the guy that was the guy that maintains the toilet, he took away the soap and the paper towel from the place where he's supposed to be just so he can be the one to put the soap on our hand >> and when we wash and give us paper towel so that after he can be like boss alpha and in my head I'm like my [ __ ] I'm just going to the toilet. Like why do you want me to tip you for you giving me soap? like the soap was already going to be there. So in Nigeria like there's a mindset of I only tip when you deserve it. Like you go above and bey even like for area boys like you do something that is like >> you helped me in a situation where I would not have been able to come out of this thing by myself. So I'm giving you this to say thank you.
>> So what are situations you would be in that you wouldn't be able to get yourself out of? I just want to know that you're tipping a person off. Unless it's the hospital and the doctor. My car breaks down on highway and area boys help me to push the car. I'll tip you.
I'll give you money.
>> Okay. So when your car breaks down the highway here, the to just the tow truck is probably $300.
>> Say say what you're going to tip them.
>> I I will pay the money. Why am I tipping the truck?
>> Exactly. But you keep saying that, oh, I'm going to tip people who keep me help me out of situations that I can't be a part of.
>> But you're not even tipping them.
>> So you see, >> because I'm not. Do you see what's going on now? See, okay, let me put it this way. in Canada here or North America.
Well, yeah. The tipping thing is is very is expected back home. It's not expected. This area boys that this guy is talking about, they will ro they even went back home last year. That's how it was.
>> After this after this one, this [laughter] one this one. If you see a girl like Dami, give her chance. They will make you giving you money. Bro, just because no one's saying you must. No one's saying you must because end of the day it's an option.
>> It is an illusion of an option.
>> It is an option. No, but it is >> an illusion of >> Do you know you you guys not do what you want to do?
>> But we are seen as bad guys. We are seen as villains.
>> No one seen as villains. Don't do this.
This is what I don't like. I don't like where people pretend like things are not how they are. Don't you see Twitter where they say if you cannot tip don't eat out. If you cannot like bro I'm like it's not like we are not even tipping.
Like I mean I feel like like you said the culture is like okay I will just do it just because for example >> why is he expected that's my >> why is there an expectation like you didn't do anything like why am I going to get bubble tea I'm just going to get coffee and I still okay okay I genuinely think these boys should just work at a restaurant at A BUSY RESTAURANT >> NO YOU HAVEN'T because you've never SERVED >> YOU'VE NEVER said why don't you send so okay >> you've never served >> the food he was a chef a server.
>> He was a chef. Do you know sweat? I was sweating when I was I was I I was doing this.
>> You've never been a server.
>> You know how many apology I give him.
>> Hey, >> you've never I'm saying you've never been a server.
>> You cannot be expected.
>> I just also in Nigeria boys.
>> Okay, listen. Okay, first of all, it's not expected. Do whatever you want to do. End of the day. But don't sit here and tell me your jobs are so easy. Oh my god, all your Thank you. Thank god that there's camera. [laughter] >> There's footage. You know what?
Production speak.
>> Recap the Can I speak?
>> We apologize.
>> Don't tell me that my job is easy. Don't tell me all I'm doing is serving you food because that's not all I'm doing.
You don't even know what I'm doing.
>> Word.
Don't take the masses on what you're doing.
>> No, I'm not. Cuz you're pissing me off.
>> No. No. Sweet. Nobody's de >> No. You just have to be there to know it. You >> Nobody is I feel like the the villain here is not us. living here is the people that hiring these people >> because they are not paying.
>> Oh, I'm so over it.
>> No, no, no. Deep. Deep what I'm saying.
>> Deep what I'm saying.
>> That's what everybody says.
>> Because it's the truth. If if the restaurants were paying employer should be paying you more, blah blah blah blah blah.
>> Honestly, they're just mad I make more money than them. Sorry.
>> HEY, [laughter] [screaming] >> and that's where when that's where the conversation >> do. Oh, yeah. Let's go there. Let me wear my shoes.
>> You know what you make? Let's let's let's verify that.
>> How much do you make on [laughter] tips?
>> Don't worry about it.
>> No, you put different ever talk about how much money you make.
>> Give give a ballpark.
>> I'm not going to give a range.
>> No. On the tips. Just on tips. Just >> I'm not I'm telling you guys I'm not going to do that.
>> Just give a ballpark. It doesn't matter.
>> No, you personally you as hima. I'm not I'm telling you guys I am not talking about how much >> Why do you say you make make more than how you >> You guys and I have had a private conversation about how much I make make it public.
>> I'm not making it public. I refuse.
>> You refuse.
>> But I'm just saying they're just mad.
>> We're not mad.
>> They literally decided to make this Anyways, >> speak your truth. Speak your truth.
Decided to make this episode.
>> They they decided to talk about this episode after they asked me how much I make.
>> Now why you vex now when people know they tip? Because you know you know the truth of how much you make.
>> I'm not mad.
>> See this is an industry on his own.
Tipping is an industry on his own. She's not going to talk. But obviously she said we have the conver when she told us this thing. Our first reaction was penis is a useless thing. [laughter] >> Manhood as a whole is you are very useless.
>> We did McDonald's guy. I could not eat again.
>> Not be no way. I was just like no way. If she they troll us, I can't say the amount.
Like, >> bro, we can't say the amount, but just know >> some some engineers don't make that much.
>> KP, what what is that supposed to mean?
>> Yeah, exactly.
>> Some engineers don't make that much now.
>> Which ones?
>> Which one is some?
>> How do you know?
>> I'm telling you only, it's not some.
Let's correct it. 80% [laughter] don't make that much. So, I'm telling you, bro, he's doing Sorry.
>> Okay.
You know, you know, has come to She has come to draw my blood. She came with smoke. She said >> they came for smoke. I'm getting attacked by two grown ass camera. Which time did I attack you?
Nobody attack. We didn't even personalize >> episode literally made to attack me.
>> No, no, we not personaliz.
>> No, I'm going to take it. I'm taking it personally though.
>> Why? Why are you are you the president of all bartenders in the world? Why you Why are you taking off their hand?
You are who elected you?
>> I elected myself. I elected myself.
>> Where is your office?
>> I want to file a complaint because what will be your problem? Why you why are you taking Let's pick. Imagine you're not a like just pick you know honestly like do you not think that there's an issue if you never worked you know in the service? Do you think that this will be passionate for you? Because you work there and you know you benefit from it now. No 100%. And that's why I say like people who are servers tip more than people who aren't. That's whatever.
>> But it's not me above. It's not me being passionate because I'm a server or I'm in the industry.
>> I've done this since I've moved here.
Maybe not as soon as I moved here cuz I didn't know the culture, >> but it's just part of the culture. Like you just learn and you adapt.
>> And so I adapted into the Tiffan culture before I was I've been here for eight years almost. M >> I've only served for three.
>> I've been tipping the whole time I was here.
>> Even people that are not here, I have some friends like the I mentioned that boy is a chronic tipper and I I had to tell that guy, you have a problem like you have a problem.
>> We went to the we landed.
>> Don't tell me that.
>> He tipped everybody like everybody that boss boss I >> boss saying we going boss how far >> in Nigeria. Oh boss, >> there are people that don't even add no value. They are not serving you. They're not doing anything. They are working just to if you see a girl like that give her chance and you will give them money.
That's just what it is. You have to work for the money in this part of the world.
You is not it's not a thing of you have to whine for the money. Just expect them.
>> But it's not like >> it is. Ladies and gentlemen, how you guys are minimizing what?
>> Ladies and gentlemen, let's ask the people. Ladies and gentlemen, do you think that tipping is something that's expected in this generation now? Do you think it's something that you know when you go out even if it's to a bar like it's just an expectation that you should tip? Like do you even think that people have you ever been in a situation where you order something and you don't tip and you see the bartender look at you in a funny face like, "Oh wow, this [ __ ] is broke." That kind of energy. We're leaving it to you. So let us know what you guys think. But let's move on. Let's let's get juicy on this episode. You know, I feel like we've we've we've paramulated about tipping so much. Let's talk about what people want to hear.
>> Hey, >> your opinion on [ __ ] >> I'm just joking. I'm just joking. Um, so my my my first question for you is um and I'm going to ask those also what is the most down bad thing you've ever done like in a relationship or with a situation like the most down bad thing that you've never like nobody knows but you know say that you're a down bad to be doing that you can never do it again.
Let's ask >> set the tone.
>> Do you want to think?
>> Yeah, give it >> I can go first.
>> Yeah. Um, I think the most damn bad thing I've done ever is go I I used to always go through this person's followers and let's say his followers were at 236. I would I wouldn't memorize 236 people. But like I would kind of know like you know like as a girl you know when it's like >> you know when it's that girl and they just follow that girl even if Instagram wouldn't tell you then I would just know and I would just keep tabs on the girls this is following >> and you monitor them >> you'll be monitoring the followers.
>> Yep.
>> Is there a reason why you behave this way? [laughter] >> Why do you do >> cuz [ __ ] ain't [ __ ] Sorry. I don't understand. So wait, I'm So let's say >> also men do this to >> Who is men? I reject I will never do such and they do >> me. God God forbid. I don't even follow my I don't even monitor my own followers. Is that somebody me?
>> Hey >> me, [clears throat] they don't why why do you behave like this?
>> I'm confused. So like as you went to his his Instagram and you went through his followers >> followers >> and then you're like oh this person was not here before.
>> Mhm.
>> Who is this person? And you >> and you do you confront him about it?
>> Not usually.
>> Not usually. So sometimes >> keep in the back of my head >> and do what with the information. So if you're not confronting what are you getting information for?
>> Wait what does he ask?
>> What if they're just his friends?
>> They're not his friends. You met you met your friend when you were out. Ah, people cannot make friends when they Is that Do you want him to make friends when he's not my man?
>> Oh, you don't want him to have big friends. Let's >> No, no, he can have. You can have girlfriends.
>> Meet make you Okay. When you go out, >> you're not meeting friends. You're not.
I don't care what a man has to say.
They're >> just my friends, >> you know.
>> Sorry. [clears throat] Sorry. Sorry.
>> You're not If you're approaching a girl at the club, you're not approaching her to be your friend.
>> What did she approach me?
>> She's not approaching me to be your friend. either.
>> How do you know? What if I just look like a friendly person?
>> Ah, babe never come to meet you in public.
>> I think me and you will make great friends and you're like, "Yes, I >> say a girl has approached you and said, "Oh my god, you and I would make great friends." Swear to God. Someone has someone approached you like that? Yes.
Swear to God. Thank you. Promise me.
>> Thank you. Promise.
>> Stop waiting.
>> Thank you. Promise.
>> My podcast they do now. We know they do.
>> Thank you.
>> We know. Thank you.
>> Why you they do pinky and >> no thank you.
>> Yeah. You know that you just >> Okay, my question you've not answered my question. Why >> I just did it cuz I was crazy. I don't tell you like there's no explanation.
>> So you agree that you are crazy?
>> Yeah, I am absolutely.
>> Are you still crazy till now?
>> I will always be crazy. H >> So you will be memorizing followup.
>> Okay. No, no, it just depends on the person. Like the person I was doing it with, he just No.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. He was a problem. I wasn't the problem. I'm just a girl. The men are always the problem now.
>> I'm just a girl.
>> No, they do.
besides me though they do I'm just a girl. Why do you know that anytime say that >> sorry >> let's move on. Please what is your own most down bad thing you ever do I cannot think of one >> because everything you do is down bad.
Hey, [laughter] >> you cannot pick one to choose. I can't think of like there's nothing.
Everything I do is normal. Like there's no D. I don't That's the thing about I don't know how to put it now.
>> It doesn't start.
>> Okay. I don't do shakara like do you understand? If I if I've if I've said sorry once or twice >> and you know answer I don't face my friend like I I'm not uh it's not my style. I don't know if I've done any down bad thing for a girl. You know, >> I've camped in front of somebody's house before cuz I thought the person was cheating.
>> I camped in front.
>> But I'm bad for it. Okay.
>> You camped like you actually stayed there and waited for people to come out or >> No, I just like I was just I I was on the phone with people, but I was just there like I >> Have you ever cheated?
>> Never. I can never do such cheating.
[laughter] >> Did you Did you catch her?
>> No. No. She was innocent. It was just my insecurities.
>> It's projection. It's cuz they're cheating. Oh god. I don't I don't like all this kind of >> projection.
>> Why can't somebody just suspect somebody just >> suspecting the person?
>> The person was dropping signs and things that I thought >> I don't want to talk about that. Let's talk about something that you say.
>> Who do you think is a is a cheat between me and KP?
>> A cheater.
>> Mhm.
>> Why? Can you explain that decision?
>> For the audio listeners, she pointed to me. Why >> KP? He just loves his girls. I've also just known him longer and I've known I know him better.
>> He loves his girls.
>> KP loves his girls. [laughter] >> Sorry.
>> Sorry.
>> I love everybody. You please both girls and boys. I love Why you laugh?
[laughter] Who invited you call this podcast? What do you keep loves these girls? I love everybody now. Oh man, let's not even talk about that. Let's talk about something that you said prior. Why do women like to use casual relationship to dark horse? Sorry, Trojan horse actual relationship. Why do you like to use lamb? Oh, we're just casual. We're just friends. Next thing it is, >> okay, and you can be friends.
My problem is not with my man or whoever having a girlfriend.
>> I have guys. Look at my guy friends.
>> However, I'm just saying when you go to the club, >> no opposite gender is approaching each other just to be friends.
>> Why do you say never? Like >> it's never. It's just never. I have never ever been approached at the club for someone to be just my friend. No one has ever approached me and said, "Oh my god, you look so cool. You want to be friends?"
>> Yeah. So, >> you don't know me. Because when you approach someone, you're approaching them based on attraction.
>> And when you're approaching someone based on attraction, >> all my friends, all my friends are fine.
>> Period.
>> Yeah. So, all my friends are fine. So, I'm like, "Oh, this is not somebody that I want to be with."
>> Okay. But your friends being fine, your friends being attractive and you being attracted to them are two different things.
>> Word. Have you ever talked to your friend before?
>> Have I been attracted to my friends before? No.
>> What about you?
>> Every time.
>> Hey. Okay. All right. Anyways, I'm just saying when you approach someone, you're not approaching them because you think they're attractive. You're approaching them because you are attracted to them.
>> Thank you.
>> Wait, >> I said you're not attract you're not approaching them because they're attractive.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. But I'm just saying you're approaching them because you are attracted to them.
>> Okay.
>> These are two different things which I've said earlier.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> Have you ever approached a girl at the club >> to be our friend?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes.
>> Who? Ah, I should mention her name.
>> Yep.
>> Ah, >> I'm going to ask her.
>> Okay.
>> You want to come to her as a woman? No, >> absolutely not.
>> That's not what I'm saying. I'm just going to say I'm going to ask her how he approached you >> just so I can prove you wrong.
>> Her name is um Chimamanda.
>> Okay. Period. I'm going to DM you after this podcast.
>> DM her >> and I'm going to put in the comments what she said.
>> H >> Adichi. That's her last name. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> And you've never met this person before?
You've never heard of them?
>> No. Like I met her and I said, "I want us to be friends."
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. Half of those.
>> You met her at the club.
>> Yeah.
>> And you went up to her at the club.
>> A club? Yeah.
>> And you said, "Hey, oh my god. Hey, I want to be a friend."
>> So we just had >> That's what you said.
>> I said, "Hey, ma'am.
>> Pinky promise."
>> Wait a pinky promise. We did Disney Channel.
>> If KP doesn't pinky promise me, he's lying.
>> I hope you guys know.
>> Have I ever pinky promise you? You >> if you ever Oh, yes you have.
>> If you ever have to ask him a question, he's lying to your face. Ask him to pinky promise.
>> No, I I will follow your >> Do you want to test it? Do you want to test it? I don't do I don't pinky promise. I even >> You Pinky promised me before.
>> Wait. Okay. So, if I >> say I've never pinky promise.
>> If I lie to you now, I pinky promise you now. What will happen to me? What? What will happen?
>> You're cut off. You're not my friend anymore.
>> Hey, you know what?
>> I take pinky promises very seriously.
>> Let's play Let's play a game. I think we need to play a game. We need to play a game. The tension is too high, [laughter] >> guys. There's no tension.
>> Let's play a game. I'm going to take you back to the tipping question.
>> No.
>> Oh, yeah. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
Sorry.
>> Please. I don't want to talk about this anymore.
>> No, no.
>> This game is called rapid fire. Shout out to Santi.
>> Hey.
>> So, how this game works is I'm going to read a phrase out like this is the first time we're playing it. So, this is simple, right? So, it's just I will say the phrase and then you give me a one word answer only. I just need one word.
I don't need I am stressing me out. No, just one word.
>> Okay.
>> So, I'm going to be going back and forth. Usuzo to Hea. Are you ready? Ha, should you check your partner's phone?
>> No.
>> No.
>> No.
>> Hey, you haven't even been asked the [laughter] question.
>> Oh, I thought it was same question.
>> You know what? Same question. So, you said no.
>> Hey, you know what? Both of you say it at the same time.
>> Okay.
>> Can you fall in love in a month?
>> Yes.
>> Yes.
>> Can you have feelings for multiple people at the same time?
>> No.
>> Yes. No.
>> No.
>> Explain why. No. If I like somebody, I I don't even have eyes for somebody else.
Sorry.
>> Ah, you're different. What about you?
>> He just like He just likes everybody.
>> So So why is it him that you said me I just like my girls. Why is he not >> But I also said when I said that I said I know KP better. I've known him from longer. I've known him for longer.
>> The longer that you've known me, you know that I like my I like my >> Yeah, you do.
>> You're making me sound like an ashaw.
That's why I don't. But that's why clarify the the >> you can like your girls and still you know >> not be an ashu.
>> Yeah >> it's possible like when you're figuring things out like with um let's say you're talking to people not even talk to people you just see like five people just like that.
>> Sorry >> it's not Yeah.
>> Also it depends like like having a crush on somebody and having feelings on.
>> Oh if you squish then you can have many you can have seven.
>> You mean do you mean like feelings feelings feelings? Feelings is one person.
>> Thank you. One person really?
>> Yeah. Know me. I'm very tonal vision.
>> So you've never been like in a love triangle like >> you like to be with >> No, I've never There's always one like me. I'm very >> I make my choice.
>> Yeah.
>> Like end of the day that person up in the real man.
>> Anyh who, friends will benefit. Yes or no?
>> No.
>> Yes. Like mad.
>> Hey, no. Why?
>> I'm a child of the Lord. Friends benefits. What benefits? benefiting each other. Now >> don't piss me off.
>> Those of you Yes. Why?
>> No. Read your Bible.
>> What does Bible benefit is subject? I think the benefit in your mind is is it could be food. It could be food. It could be >> Okay. But the actual >> meaning of friends of benefits.
Yeah. Okay.
That is one of the propaganda we still fall for. So yes.
>> So what does Bible have to do with friends with benefits?
>> Mhm.
>> Read your Bible. You would know >> what you tell me the best. You're the Bible person. Tell me the verse.
>> No, you would know. Read your Bible.
>> Ah, no. Tell me the verse now.
>> Maybe you read your own.
>> You know that read that regurgitate it to us.
>> Are you guys Christian?
>> I'm a Christian.
>> You guys don't know about sexual sin?
>> Tell us.
>> What kind of questions are there?
>> Oh, give us.
>> Mind you, both of them prayed before this podcast, but they don't know. Okay.
>> Sorry.
>> Okay.
>> Ask me about what does it say? Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Next question.
>> So, you're against sexual sin?
>> Absolutely. Cuz you're a Christian.
>> Yeah, >> but you're checking people's phone.
>> I said I check the followers.
>> What does that have to do with What are you talking about? How was >> the Lord said don't be jealous. Don't um coveret your your What is that? Don't convert.
>> Oh, this man knows so much about the checking the phone part, but he doesn't.
Okay.
>> No. I'm saying that. Let's talk about the the double standards. You you are picking one part of the Bible, but you said double standard.
>> Yeah. You they convert. Why you converting what another partner? You can go through my phone. I'll go with your phone.
>> No, not phone. You said you are checking his followers. You see the girls that So, you are covereting. Why? The Bible say >> the first question was, should you check your partner's phone? And we both said no. So, why you not saying now?
>> No, but he's the one he's talking about when I check the followers. I've never checked his phone. We're talking about followers.
>> Okay.
>> He's confused.
>> No, no, you check followers. That is conventious. Convention. I am not going to agree with you. You're agreeing with me.
>> I'm not agreeing with you.
>> He's agreeing with me.
>> It's flirting white in a relationship cheating.
>> Yes.
Even liking someone's Instagram story.
Cheating.
>> See, cheater. If you are liking another girl's story, >> the picture is nice now.
>> You are a cheater.
>> The picture is nice now. The picture is >> cheaters.
>> Thank you.
>> Okay. It's not only me again. It's me and I said cheaters. As long as I update, >> we are cheaters. I'm also a dishwasher.
>> Okay, >> let's continue. Next question.
>> I'm not a cheater. I don't know who is the we that he's talking about. I'm not a cheater. I've never cheated. I never cheat in my life. Amen. Amen.
>> Who cheats better, men or women?
>> Women.
>> Cheat better.
>> Yeah. Women.
>> Yeah. Women don't get caught.
>> I'm not a cheater though. I'm not I'm not talking about myself.
>> This is the topic.
>> This is the Okay. Yeah. This is >> Bro, men are so dumb. Men are so dumb when it comes to >> We talked about we talked about this two episodes ago now that like like [ __ ] don't know how >> men Men cheat more like >> Okay, more is men better men better. I just feel like women just know how to hide it better.
>> Have you cheated before?
>> No.
>> Will you ever cheat? No.
>> Can you tell us some of the strategies they use?
>> I've never been a cheater so I wouldn't know.
>> Ah, but you have friends that are cheaters now.
>> No, I don't. [laughter] >> I don't.
>> Please. At the beginning of this episode, you said my name is and I have this for you.
>> Yeah. So, you cannot tell me that in your own life you never sign into that.
>> There's no way that you don't have a friend that has cheated before now. Stop this.
>> No, I've had friends who've cheated before.
>> How did they do?
>> To be honest, I don't know. I just know they didn't. I said, "Wow."
>> He said, "Wow."
>> I said, "Oh my god."
>> So, they're both going to act like they haven't cheated before. I don't believe that.
>> What do you mean they are both? So, it's two people.
>> Oh, both of us. Oh, I've never cheated before now. But like I'm asking you, you know someone that has cheated. Tell us how did the person >> You've never any we've never met anybody who's cheated. I just think men are stupid.
>> Men are just slow when it comes to cheating. Like they don't even know what's >> Anyways, >> so tell us how are men slow with cheating? Explain to us in what capacity.
>> First of all, >> um projection >> the project like like me projecting.
>> Oh good. Like it's so crazy.
>> Number one. M >> number two, like they'll just say like they'll just like their switch up. Like I just don't think men know how to control.
>> Like I just feel like as a girl like if I know if I'm doing something wrong, I know how to like fit myself back into what I was before. You know what I'm trying to say? Before I did what I did wrong. Men don't. Once they mess up, next day a whole new person. Next day you'll get flowers. You've never got flowers. You've been with them for three years. You've never got flowers. All of a sudden, >> why are you with a man for 3 years? I've never gotten flowers.
>> No, I'm just I'm not I'm not talking about myself. I'm just talking about in general how men do it.
>> So, your your friends are with men that don't give them flowers for 3 years.
>> That's not what I'm saying. This is not about me or my friends. I'm just talking about the general public when it comes to the way men act.
>> Okay.
>> They'll never take you out. They'll never ask you out >> all of a sudden taking you to a steakhouse. Oh, >> cuz they're feeling guilty.
>> Yep. It's like guilt tripping.
>> But women get guilt trips. But women don't feel guilt. Why do you think that is the case? Why do you think women don't feel >> I don't think men It's not that women don't feel guilt.
>> I just think they just know how to hide it better.
>> Eve, my Eve give Adam that apple.
>> Yeah.
>> You know that what they are saying connecting it to Eve is true because they saying that women can do bad things and not kill it.
>> Do you do you know do you not know the underlining thing they saying right now?
But women are cold. You guys are cold blooded, bro.
>> No, I'm just saying men are dumb. They don't know how to hype. If you're going to be a cheater, at least do it better.
Please.
>> You sound like someone that cheated before. That's This is how you study about.
>> No, I've never cheated before.
>> In the service industry.
>> No, I'm not. I've never cheated before.
>> Of cheating.
>> I swear I have. You know, I haven't.
Which one?
>> What do you mean you >> No, he knows. Let don't let make him pretend.
>> Why you acting like me and you best friends?
>> Who your best friend?
>> My besties.
>> Who would be your bestie? I'm not your bestie. You're my besties.
>> Who's your bestie? I know I know be your bestie.
>> Oh, we're not friends.
>> See?
>> Oh, we're not friends.
>> Bestie and friend now. Is what?
The one where you can't be near me.
>> We're on the same side.
>> Okay. Yes, I'm on your side. Yeah. So, if men are stupid, how do you >> I said men are slow. I didn't mean to call you stupid.
>> Yeah. What do you think about Nigerian men?
>> Your honest opinion?
>> No, seriously.
>> I honestly Okay, here's what I think about men like especially Nigerian men.
I just I think you guys have a very bad reputation >> and founders.
>> I don't know what man what man what Nigerian man giving you guys bad reputation but I think in general honestly all men have bad reputation.
>> Yeah. Like men generally but like Nigerian men especially us Euroban guys like we just have horrible reputations.
That's I'm asking you as you what do you think of >> I honestly don't judge people on base where they're from. I swear to God I don't.
>> Your own experiences with Nigerian men.
What is your opinion on you?
>> I've never experienced a Nigerian man.
Thank you.
>> Thank you. You know, talk about it then.
You know me better. No, no, no. You act so surprised.
>> God, >> you act so surprised and talk about it.
>> Oh, Jehovah help my soul.
>> Talk about it then.
>> You've actually never experienced a Nigerian man.
>> Not in a relationship.
>> Okay. No relationship. You said in general >> liars, cheaters, manipulators, projectors, insecure. insecure >> and Okay.
>> Okay. So, you said liars, cheaters, manipulators, insecure project, >> liars. Exclamation.
>> Yeah. Let's talk about each point. How are we liars?
>> Wait, wait. Let's let's let's let's make it specific. What What is the biggest lie in Nigerian man?
>> I'm not going to talk about my personal experiences like specific examples. I'm not talking about that. No, >> I'm just saying.
So you have seen that life but you don't want to tell us how. You don't want to give us evidence. You like all those people that will say oh KP is I say how when did I do it and you say you cannot remember.
>> Eh huh >> what is you know those people all those people that do that thing like like for example I come and meet and I'm like oh this thing you always doing you're always calling me fat >> and then your age I've never called you fat before now. And then I'm like okay.
Yeah. Then like I should I should give like they know they remember.
>> They don't ever remember. That's what you're doing now. So we are liars but you cannot give us one example. How? Oh yeah. Even if it's not you. What is one lie Niger man has ever told your friend.
>> I just I'm not going to give a specific example. I just think that lies like they'll lie about something stupid.
>> Like what?
>> Like they'll have a bagel for breakfast.
They'll tell you they had eggs.
>> Why would they?
>> And mind you, they'll post eggs and then they'll text you tell you they had eggs.
>> Is that in? Are you talking about women?
>> No. Is the egg women and is the bagel another beep? Like >> No, I'm talking about genuinely the breakfast they're actually eating.
>> Will be bagel >> and cream cheese. And they will post bagel and cream cheese. And they will be and they'll tell you they ate eggs.
>> [laughter] >> We are in trouble.
[laughter] Somebody save me. Say somebody save me.
>> Somebody save me.
>> Who's your best artist?
>> Ruger.
>> Ruger. Why?
>> I just love him so much. I don't know.
>> Where? Where is he from?
>> Nigerian.
>> Say h.
>> Okay. So, wait. If he's a Nigerian man, >> say it now.
>> Don't piss me off.
Don't >> PMO.
You said that Nigeria liars, >> backbiters.
>> I know. I didn't say back bits.
>> No. Whoa.
>> More everything.
>> Thank God for the cameras. Thank God.
>> Yeah. You said you you said that. But your best artist is a Nigerian. Explain that.
>> I just like his music.
>> But you don't like him.
>> I don't know him to like him.
>> But he's a Nigerian man now. You know, you already seldom.
>> Bro, he's on stage calling girls to dance on him every 5 seconds. How do you feel about that?
>> You are you don't support us. You know, let's play a game.
>> How many games?
>> This is a game gaming episode. The both of you are dissing. I'm Ruger and I'm on stage [laughter] and both of you together.
>> Yeah, you guys are this glasses.
>> You guys are four years relationship.
He's thinking of proposing to you. Can't seem to get my >> I could be single and I wouldn't go on stage.
>> Wait, sorry. Can't seem to get my eyes off you.
Who be that fine girl for the for the crowd?
