In criminal cases involving attempted assassination, courts will not allow defendants to delay proceedings despite defense tactics, especially when substantial evidence including DNA, digital confessions, and physical notes exist; victims' families have legal rights to ensure speedy trials and public transparency in justice proceedings.

Robinson Won't Plea Despite DNA + Confession — Candace Spins
Added:The judge just shut Tyler Robinson down cold. Every stall tactic his defense threw, denied.
The July hearing is locked in.
After 9 months since that day at Utah Valley University, the accused still has not entered a plea.
The defense lawyers keep inventing new ways to stall.
They marched into a Provo courtroom Friday with three motions, even trying to strip the most serious penalty off the table.
Judge Tony Graff denied the delay on the spot, with rulings on the rest by June 22nd.
And here is why they are so desperate to stall.
Investigators say DNA consistent with Robinson was on the trigger, on the fired casing, on the unfired rounds, and on the towel wrapped around the weapon.
It gets worse for the defense.
Prosecutors say Robinson confessed in text messages, and left a note hidden under a keyboard spelling out his intent to target Charlie Kirk. The charging documents go further.
They say he admitted planning it for over a week, then told his partner to delete the messages once the search closed in.
So now the stalling makes sense.
This judge is a former prosecutor, and legal analysts on both sides are calling the defense motions frivolous.
The judge also refused to let them bury this in secrecy.
The cameras stay, and the bid to seal the evidence was rejected. Meanwhile, Candace Owens is spreading strange theories about the case.
She has questioned the investigation, the evidence, even the official story itself. Her side seized on one preliminary forensic test and called it exculpatory.
What they left out is that the testing was not finished, and more was already planned. So despite the spin, the facts remain.
The DNA, the texted confession, and the note are all headed to an open hearing where the public can see them.
Erica Kirk has heard enough. The widow publicly told Owens one word, "Stop."
She is done watching false claims swirl around the man she lost.
Erica Kirk wants action.
The court named her the victim representative.
She invoked her right to a speedy trial.
And prosecutors say they are 90% through discovery with the hearing set for July 6th through 10th.
President Trump gave Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom and rightfully called him a martyr.
That is the man his family is fighting to get justice for.
Answer this question.
Is Candace Owens helping the cause or hurting it?
And should the court drag Tyler Robinson into that July hearing no matter what?
