I think the AI boom and the dot-com boom have a lot of similarities and I think it is silly to think that the AI boom will not end in a similar fashion. There will be a bust. There was a dot-com bust and there will be an AI bust.

[00:00:18]But the difference to your point is that the dot-com boom was almost pure speculation. There wasn't a lot of financial reality behind the hopes and dreams. Whereas this time there is a lot of financial reality behind the hopes and dreams of artificial intelligence.

[00:00:35]People are using AI for massive productivity advantages. Companies everywhere are using it. People everywhere are using it. There's all this spending happening and it's turning into real big revenue growth and and profit growth for a lot of companies.

[00:00:47]So, there is a real strong financial reality behind the AI boom that was not there behind the dot-com boom, but that is not precluded from following the dot-com boom's footsteps of eventually getting too hot and rolling over or, you know, falling over, really crashing.
