Intrinsic value represents a company's true worth based on its real earnings, growth, and future potential, while market price fluctuates based on emotions, hype, and news; investors should buy stocks trading below their intrinsic value (getting a discount) and avoid those trading above it (overpaying), as this price-value difference forms the foundation of value investing.

How to Know If a Stock Is Cheap or Expensive (Intrinsic Value Explained)Ajouté :
Every stock has two prices, the price you see and the price it's actually worth.
Most investors only know one.
The price you see on your screen changes every second. It's driven by emotions, hype, fear, and news.
That number alone means nothing.
Intrinsic value is what the company is actually worth based on its real earnings, its growth, its future potential. It's the true price tag of the business, not what people feel like paying for it today.
Think of it like a house. If a house is worth 400,000, but someone's panicking and selling it for 300,000, that's a deal. If everyone is excited and bidding it up to 600,000, you're overpaying.
The stock market works the exact same way. Price below intrinsic value, you're getting a discount. Price above the intrinsic value, you are overpaying.
This is the entire foundation of value investing. This is how Warren Buffett made over a hundred billion dollars, not by guessing, but by knowing the difference between price and value.
Save this video. This is the foundation of everything. Every week I break down exactly which stocks are trading below their intrinsic value for free.
Two prices, the one you see and the one that actually matters.
