Bitcoin Is Preparation, Not Prediction

[00:00:00]What I really don't believe in is predictions. And I believe that given human nature and the dislike for ambiguity, people pursue predictions so that they can understand what world they're going to be operating in and and deal with it accordingly. And if they do this to excess, then they theorize about a world they'll be operating in which is not as likely to obtain as they think, which means that their predictions can be misleading. And about 20-odd years ago, I wrote a memo called you can predict you can't predict, you can prepare. And that's really the essence.
