A polished exercise in over-intellectualizing the obvious, turning basic emotional maturity into a curated performance of profound wisdom. It’s the classic high-brow habit of mistaking a poetic aesthetic for genuine philosophical depth.

Reading PoemsAdded:
Rad. Welcome to today's video. Today's video I'm going to read from this new book I just got to love poems. Okay. And read this at Barnes & Noble on Saturday.
Going to read them together. I really I love poetry. And if you're not familiar with my post here on YouTube, I post some poetry. So, okay. Okay, I'm just going to read it to you and then you can, you know, listen to this while you're doing your thing throughout your day. All right, this one says says, "I want to wipe away everything you know about love. Start with one word, kindness. Give it to them. Let them give it to you. Be two pillars equal in your love and you'll carry empires on your backs." This is the picture. Some of these are a little sexual, so might get a little hot in here. Not that it isn't already. Okay, next one. The universe took its time on you, crafted you to offer the world something different from everyone else. When you doubt how you were created, you doubt an energy greater than us both. Irreplaceable.
This is the picture. We all like picture books. You must want to spend the rest of your life with yourself first because if you don't like yourself, no one else will. For the love of my life, I am trying my best to have hope. I'll keep greeting each morning with a I will when it feels like I can't I will meet a day that will melt me. I will move and the sadness will fall off my shoulders to make room for joy. I will be full of color and I will touch the sky again. I think that's about self-love and being happy with where you are. No, it won't be love at first sight when we meet.
It'll be love at first remembrance because I've seen you in my mother's eyes. When she tells me to marry the type of man I'd want to raise my son to be like. That's pretty cute. That's a nice drawing. When you start loving someone new, you laugh at the indecisiveness of love. Remember, when you were sure the last one was the one, and now here you are redefining the one all over again. Oh, that's really nice.
Fresh love is a gift. That's really precious. I like this one a lot. So, that's the girl. This is the guy.
And yeah, you know, I've learned that um some people say that you only have one soulmate, but I disagree. There is more to life than just having one partner in the world. You like my ring. My ring has an elephant on it. I really like animal rings, animal jewelry. This has a jaguar.
Um this is a gift.
This is a gift from my grandma.
Okay, next one. What is stronger than the human heart which shatters over and over and still lives? I don't get it.
That's the heart. I think how you love yourself is how you teach others to love you. M, that's a good one. Let's read that again. How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you.
That's right.
How you love yourself is how you teach others to love you, right? Because you teach people how to treat you. I welcome a partner who is my equal. Although I don't know if that's true. I don't think I would want an equal though cuz then it'd be too hot in here.
You are the faint line between faith and blindly waiting. Letter to my future lover. Oh, that's precious.
That's nice.
Although that picture would be the other way around. Instead of him holding her, it would be me holding him. I'm not kidding. I to share my life with a partner. It would be foolish not to ask myself 20 years from now, is this person going to be someone I still laugh with, or am I just distracted by their charm?
Do I see us evolving into new people by the decade? Or does the growing ever come to a pause? I don't want to be distracted by the looks or the money. I want to know if they pull the best or the worst out of me. Deep at the core, are our values the same? In 30 years, will we still jump into bed like we're 20? Can I picture us in old age conquering the world like we've got young blood running in our veins?
Checklist. Oh, I really like this one.
That was really cute.
You know, you know, when you find someone special and you feel that connection, it should flow. You know, love should flow. It should not feel forced. You should not feel like it's constant roller coasters. It should really just flow. You know, if you feel discouraged, you know, if you feel like you're on a quest to find love. And love doesn't have to mean romantic love. Love can mean friendship. Love can mean maybe you want to adopt, maybe you want a dog, maybe you want a cat. It doesn't have to be romantic love. Um, and love exists all around you. You know, if you're around nature, there's love all around you. The trees, the animals are always mating. And you know, you can create a romantic environment in your own home right now or just even in your wherever you reside. You know, buy some flowers, buy a nice pillow, buy a nice blanket, create a nice, you know, warm, luscious environment for yourself so that you can feel good.
Love will come and when love comes, love will hold you. Love will call your name and will melt. Sometimes though, love will hurt you. But love will never mean to. Love will play no games cuz love knows life has been hard enough already.
It's kind of corny. You are a mirror. If you continue to starve yourself of love, you'll only meet people who will starve you, too. If you soak yourself in love, the universe will hand you those who will love you, too. A simple math.
We attract who we are. You know, in order to attract different people, in order to attract the love that we desire, we have to become that love and love ourselves first. This is the last one. I'd be lying if I said you make me speechless. The truth is, you make my tongue so weak. If it forgets what language to speak in.
So, there is um a couple pictures in here that are very little sexual. This is one that I liked a lot.
Okay. You know, we are sexual creatures.
So, it's okay, precious.
You know, like when your fingers touch somebody or when you physically touch somebody, it's like sparks can can arouse, you know, rouse you. I have this awesome top on.
Okay, this is my top. It's from Be.
And I have this beautiful watch that someone got me.
Anyways, that's the video today on love poems. And oh, I also have this book.
It's William Shakespeare, complete works of William Shakespeare. And I wanted to read it a little bit. I got it because I think it's really pretty and it's, you know, gold and it's nice decor here that I have, but I'm also going to read it.
Looks like page 11 is on the talks about poems and apparently I didn't know this but Shakespeare moved to London and he made money writing poetry as a young man and during this time of 1592 it looks like there was a plague which closed the theaters for 2 years and then he turned to publication to sustain himself and poetry sold better than plays.
Interesting. I may actually consider looking into the in industry of poetry because I really like poetry. So, but yeah, maybe I can do a separate series of reading some of these, you know, stuff if you will. But anyways, thank you for watching and I will see you in the next video.
