This Man’s Eczema Is So Severe He Can Barely Walk

[00:00:00]This man has eczema so bad he can't even walk. His name is Devon West and the last month he has barely been able to get out of bed. His skin burns, [music] itches, cracks, bleeds, sheds, and tortures him from his head to his toes.

West has lived with eczema his whole life, but this flare-up has become so severe that he's been hospitalized twice, developed infections, and is now dealing with pain so bad he can't walk or even get to the bathroom without help. His wife Elizabeth says they found the medication he needs to finally calm his immune system and help his skin heal, but it costs around $2,000 a month and insurance won't cover it. They've raised almost $12,000 so far, but still need around $6,000 more to help cover West's medication and care. Elizabeth is trying to get her husband back on his feet, out of pain, and back to living again.
